Tetta Kisaki

Appearance

Kisaki is a young man of average height. He has blue eyes and has dyed blonde hair. He also wears gold-framed glasses, and a piercing of the same color in his left ear. When he first appeared in the series, his hair was cropped and shaved on the right side of his head, and he later grew it out a little, leaving it cropped. Quite the opposite of how he looked as a child, who had longer, disheveled hair, and its natural tone, black. He has been seen wearing the uniform of Tokyo Manji and Tenjiku, when he was part of these two gangs.

Personality

Ingenious, cautious and inhuman are the words that best describe Tetta Kisaki, who will not rest until his wishes are fulfilled. Although he is not a very strong criminal, his power to rule with fear makes even those stronger than him obey him. The entirety of his actions throughout the story revolve around becoming the most powerful and influential criminal in Tokyo, attempting to manipulate Mikey in every way possible. Kisaki doesn't care about his subordinates or his superiors, he just sees them all as puppets that he can manipulate to achieve his goals. He is selfishly willing to frame others or even make them sacrifice their lives to escape the law or further his plans. Thanks to his charisma and intelligence, he is able to find many criminals willing to serve his orders (although sometimes they are physically stronger and more powerful than him). And he is feared by several people due to his great manipulation skills. As a child, he was very shy and insecure. His lack of social interaction during childhood caused him to develop an inferiority complex and makes him the ruthless individual seen throughout the story. It's also likely the reason he only sees others as tools for his use. Although that all changes in the final alternate line where Takemichi befriends him and introduces him to his Tokyo Manji friends, being also a founding member.

Fighting prowess

Although far from the strongest offender, Kisaki has above average combat ability. He is able to defend himself and defeat average criminals.

Kisaki has held high positions in multiple bands to promote their blueprints, such as Toman, Moebius, Valhalla, and Tenjiku.

Intelligence

What makes Kisaki an incredibly dangerous individual, (if not the most dangerous), is his high intelligence. Kisaki has shown that he can be an extraordinary intellectual throughout history, being able to thwart Takemichi's plans several times despite the latter being able to travel through time. He has been able to artfully manipulate countless powerful criminals into doing his bidding and serving as a springboard for him. If it weren't for Takemichi's supernatural ability, Kisaki would have risen to the top of Toman with ease, which he did in the second timeline.

The name Tetta means "iron" (鉄) (tet) and "thick, thick, big" (太) (ta). Tetta's surname Kisaki means "rare, uncommon, unusual, phenomenal, dilute (sour)" (稀) (ki) and "flower, blossom" (咲) (saki). According to the official character book: His favorite color is black. He hates idiots. His special skill is studying, especially mathematics. He doesn't admire or respect anyone. His dream was to form the largest criminal gang in Japan. His heroic story (or failure story): there is nothing to talk about. His favorite place is the pedestrian bridge at night.
