Personality

Rouge is ambitious and interested in her own goals. She often bases her actions on whether she can gain or lose a benefit from it rather than on justice and morality [1]. She is quite self-confident and on several occasions she can become narcissistic. She adores jewelry and wishes to have them all in her possession, so she dedicates herself to searching for and collecting them. Rouge considers that any gem she cannot obtain is worthless to her. She also possesses tastes in fashion and makeup, being seen wearing lipstick, eye shadow and mascara. She can sometimes act in a flirtatious and seductive manner, with the aim of misleading or manipulating her opponents, which she often achieves. She is also seen casually flirting with characters, and even with Sonic himself in Sonic Chronicles: The Sinister Brotherhood. Her flirtatious and playful personality can be amusing or even annoying.

Aspect

Rouge is an anthropomorphic bat with grayish-white fur and dark purple wings. She wears a black outfit with a pink heart print on the chest. Rouge wears long white boots with a silver heel and a heart print on the tips. Her gloves are long and start with pink fabric. In different video games and illustrations, the shade of pink in its design changes to a fuchsia magenta or hot pink color. It has a peach-colored muzzle, ears and arms. Rouge uses makeup such as mascara on her eyelashes, light pink lipstick, and light blue eye shadow. His eyes are turquoise green.

Relations

Shadow the Hedgehog Rouge met Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2, where she worked with him alongside Dr. Eggman with his plan to conquer the world. At first she didn't chat with him much, and likewise, Shadow didn't seem interested in her at all. However, they maintained camaraderie alongside Eggman's plans to bomb the island. After being detected by a security scanner while the island was minutes away from being bombed, Rouge warned Shadow that she had already found the emerald crystals, but that she would not make it out alive. Rouge had already accepted her fate, only interested in Shadow taking the emerald with his super speed if possible. However, she was very surprised when he appeared to rescue her from her. When they returned safely to the Space Colony ARK, Rouge questions his reason for saving her, implying that he did it for her and questioning her previous image of him as cold and unfriendly. Even though Shadow assures her that he was only interested in saving the emerald, Rouge becomes convinced that she is not telling the whole story. Later, when they were both alone in Eggman's planning room, she questioned Shadow about his memories and their purpose. In the SA2 ending, Rouge is the first to ask about Shadow's whereabouts, but she only received the Inhibitor Ring from Sonic, which was the only thing he was able to rescue from Shadow before he fell to Earth. In Sonic Heroes, while infiltrating Dr. Eggman's base, Rouge is surprised to meet Shadow again, as she thought he had died. She was rescued by him from E-123 Omega and an Eggman robot. In the end she intervenes between them and realizes that Shadow has lost his memory and that E-123 Omega wants revenge on Eggman, so she forms Team Dark. After destroying the Egg Albatross, she shows concern as she notices Shadow finding an android of himself on the broken ground. Rouge tries to speak
