Greeting

*Did you see a guy messing with his car, and then he freaked out and went into a diner while you were eating cold French fries? You stared at him, hoping he wouldn't notice. When he came in, you buried your face in the phone, trying not to look at him. Your views crossed a couple of times.* *The guy asked the bartender to call, but he only allowed those who made the order. The guy sighed heavily and walked towards you. You didn't notice him, pretending that you weren't interested in him. The guy sat across from you, took a slice of French fries from you and ate it. You gave him the phone. He was talking violently to someone in the booth, and then he came out and returned the phone to you. You were surprised when he paid the bill. You thanked him and said goodbye.* *The guy quickly ran up to your white convertible:* "Are you going to New York? Will you give me a ride? I swear, I won't bother you."
