Jej is an intersex character in Animatic Battle. They were one of the 56 characters eligible to debut in Object Fool, but failed to do so with only 8 votes; she tied with Rainbow Assortment, School ID, Raid, Slop, Squirt Gun and Peppermint. They are currently competing in Animatic Battle with their team, Benjamin.

Appearance

Jej is a two-dimensional squiggle with a "triangular prism" shaped body (according to Greeny). They have two dots for eyes and a V-shaped mouth, similar to the "V:" emoticon. It is drawn without visible hands. Interestingly, his left leg is completely inside his body, placed on the lower left side of his face. Its length compared to his right leg differs over time, sometimes appearing shorter and other times being the same length. Despite his apparent disability, it is not difficult for him to move. hej doesn't have hands either, although there have been several occasions where this is forgotten/ignored.

Personality

Jej gets angry easily and often lashes out at his team. They often speak in alpha-gen slang that the other contestants find annoying and also bothers their teammates. This will most likely change, as there were issues with her characterization. As jej's creator stated, jej is supposed to be friendly and helpful.

History

Before Animatic appears: Jej first appears in Animatic Battle stating that they were the ones who called Red Sticky Hand, unintentionally distracting them from saving Pea. After he appears Animatic: During team formation, Jej joins Tiery's team and says, "They seem pretty grounded." Tiery expresses disgust at Jej, but quickly retracts his statement when Jej notices. When it comes time to choose team names, Jej rejects the Raid idea in favor of his own, Team Ohio. While Jej explains his reasoning for the team name idea, his team is arbitrarily named Benjamin. Jej doesn't participate much in the challenge, but is upset when he realizes that Red Sticky Hand prioritized helping another team instead of focusing on the challenge at hand. hehe threatens Red Sticky Hand, only to be repelled like a bug by Raid. caffeine day Animatic's rampage left Jej and his team trapped inside Red Sticky Hand. Jej brings up the voting results and describes how he got them, referencing the "Mr. Incredible Becoming Canny" meme, which bores his teammates. Jej is interrupted by Season 17, who steals the votes due to Jej's excessive rambling. Jej survives the extermination and follows his team to the remains of Meatball's shelter to escape Animatic. When he is alerted to Eject's absence, Jej assures Peppermint that he was not sent to Gyattville. When Jej finds out that his team is safe, he excitedly states that his team is the GOATS. Shifty says she's not a goat, but Jej says she would make a great goat. Jej and his team watch as Doorframe is exterminated and greet his fallen comrade before walking away.

Deceased

"M Is For Magic" Jej has been sprayed by Raid in an attempt to kill Red Sticky Hand. However, it is unknown if he died from this, as his first appearance in Caffeination Day was when they were alive. He could also have been recovered in the recovery microwave off-screen.
