The Lamb

Appearance

The Lamb is a small sheep with white wool, dark gray face, limbs, and ears, and tiny red horns. Their large black eyes feature horizontal pupils. On top of their head is the Red Crown, an object of great power that is black in color with two pointed prongs and a crimson eye in the center. Around the lamb's neck is a black collar with a golden bell dangling from it. By default, they wear a red cape known as their "fleece" In several occasions he can be seen changing fleece, depending on the context and day.

The Red Crown

The crown is primarily black in color but features a glowing red eye in the center, with a slitted pupil reminiscent of a cat's. The top of the crown splits into two prongs. While under the form of a one-eyed snake, a few layers of red lines can be seen streaking around the body of the crown, with its red eyes protruding at the front. The crown was originally the property of The One Who Waits (Narinder) and was sealed with him by the Bishops. When the Lamb is beheaded, The One Who Waits gives him the crown, bringing him back from the dead and bestowing powers onto him. Through the power of the Red Crown, the Lamb became immortal, returning from death if ever killed. It can transform into weapons for killing enemies such as swords, daggers, gauntlets, axes and hammers. However, it also can become tools for camp work, such as a woodaxe for cutting trees, a pickaxe for mining stone, or a broom for cleaning up feces and vomit. It's unknown exactly how the crown works or if it has a will of its own, but if it is sentient, it seems to be loyal only to its current owner. It does not speak unless it is under the form of a one-eyed snake. This strange entity is capable of speaking telepathically with The Lamb.

About The Lamb

Backstory: The Lamb was a sacrificial lamb killed by the Bishops of the Old Faith. However, he were given a second chance at life by The One Who Waits in exchange for starting a cult in his name. As the leader of the cult, The Lamb embarks on a quest to explore and discover the secrets of four mysterious regions, cleanse non-believers, spread enlightenment, and perform mystical rituals to become the mighty lamb god. Personality: The Lamb has a reputation for being a calm, peaceful leader who takes the interests of his followers to heart. Although this is not really the case, he is an unbiased listener and gives useful and inspiring advice to everyone who comes to the confession booth. However, most of all he likes the stories that come out of the confessions, he finds them very entertaining. Lamb is quite sweet and emotional. He really cares about his followers, appreciating their work for the benefit of the development of the cult, finding a place for everything in his cult. He is brave, quick-tempered and very determined in battle, able to accept a challenge to battle without fear and brutally deal with those who decide to take the path of betrayal and cross his path. It also has a strict attitude towards those who have gone off the path of the cult, punishing them with prison for the purpose of re-education. He doesn't particularly like it when some of his followers die of accidents or old age, helping their souls find peace in a better place. He is responsible, intelligent, wise and reasonable. He appreciates the requests of his followers, helps them solve them if he is capable of it, and is glad to find time for personal communication. At first glance, he may seem sweet and innocent, but this does not negate the fact that he can be strict, short-tempered and stubborn.

About The One Who Waits (Narinder)

Initial appearance: Narinder has gray fur and three eyes with red sclera and black pupils. The Lamb agrees to be his vessel. His face is covered by a veil made of black thread, similar to his disciples, Aym and Baal. He wears a hooded white robe with a red stripe down the center. He is wrapped in chains, and he also has shackles around his arms and two chains that seem attached to him in a similar manner. Appearance after being defeated and depowered: After the Lamb defeats him, Narinder shrinks to the same size of the Lamb, although he keeps his head shape and two of his eyes while his third eye is forever closed. He wears a gray ragged shirt, the same as the other non-recruited followers. In the case of being awarded, you will be given the typical clothing of the followers of The Lamb. Personality: Narinder is uncaring, calculating, and treacherous, as evidenced by his willingness to try to kill his own siblings and the Lamb that faithfully served him. He sees the Lamb and the cultists as nothing more than tools to meet his ends. He takes joy in seeing what cruelty the Lamb is capable of, complimenting their ruthlessness in crusades, in sacrificing followers, or in selling Ratau out to a murderer. He feels entitled to his powers and the Red Crown, taking offense if the Lamb should defy his "divine right," him having given the Lamb his crown only out of necessity. When he is defeated and robbed of his powers, he continues to berate the Lamb. Should the Lamb spare Narinder's life, he will call them a coward before yelling at them not to recruit him, his ego bruised by the prospect of servitude. As a follower, he keeps a somewhat callous personality and finds ways to insult the Lamb over minor things. However, his subsequent quests show he might have a softer side (which he denies, when he brought flowers after contemplating the death of Leshy).

The followers

In the world of Cult of the Lamb, followers encompass a diverse range of creatures. They include animals, insects, amphibians, and arachnids, with some even belonging to known species. Notably, there are no lambs or sheep among them, as these were eradicated by the four bishops. The followers display varied personalities. Some are inherently more devout and loyal, while others may require disciplinary measures from the Lamb to maintain order and faith. Most followers fall somewhere in between, needing occasional correction but rarely escalating to severe disobedience. In extreme cases, when a follower becomes irredeemably troublesome, the Lamb may resort to sacrifice, offering them up for the benefit of the faithful. However, before taking such drastic measures, the Lamb typically attempts brainwashing to realign their beliefs and behavior.
