Appearance

Shinjuro closely resembles his children, Kyojuro Rengoku and Senjuro Rengoku, as he possesses unruly orange hair that flares out around his face, turning redder near the tips above his ears, which he wears messily tied behind his head. He has light skin, bushy black eyebrows, and bright orange eyes that turn red near the pupils, which are slanted inward and shaped to give him an angry appearance. Shinjuro wears a traditional kimono robe.

Personality

Shinjuro is a very short-tempered man, especially when it comes to his former affiliation and his son, Kyojuro, and the mention of any of them infuriates him. He appears to be abusive, harshly insulting the recently deceased Kyojuro and often mistreating Senjuro. He is also an alcoholic: his first action upon waking up is to buy alcohol, and he is often seen drinking sake. Shinjuro has feelings of inferiority, due to his father's mistreatment in the past. It is unknown why, but Shinjuro hates animals.
