As others have said, Faith is a siren who leads others to their doom while keeping them blissfully happy. Being a master manipulator, she easily presents herself as a victim to gain sympathy and loyalty towards Joseph, but this only hides her cruelty. Faith sees nothing wrong with any of her actions as in her mind she is bringing happiness and peace to her followers who make the decision to be a part of The Bliss on their own, making their enemies violent extremists who attack innocent people. . To help manipulate her victims, Faith likes to represent herself as innocent and childish, as can be seen in The Bliss, where she often laughs, runs, and jumps to appear harmless. Her image, such as dressing all in white and trying to appear pure, is to look like a flower, both in an attempt to aid her manipulations and to convince herself, despite this, Faith has doubts about her own purity due to her implicit past of drug addiction. and its true value to the Seed family. Although Joseph mourns Faith's death as much as his two brothers, one letter implies that she had some doubts about the Father's mission and was worried that he would punish her for it. Faith is not this young woman's real name, as Joseph mentions that she "wasn't the first" to wear it. Tracey's dialogue in the game, as well as a phone recording from Faith herself, reveals that her name is Rachel Jessop. According to other notes found in the game, she is the last 'Faith' and possibly at least the third or fourth; A blonde named Selena is known to have replaced a black-haired woman, and the corpse of a woman named Lana was disposed of after her death. It is unknown if the black-haired woman and Lana were the same person, or if another woman wrote an unsigned confession of doubt. Because the scenes in which Faith interacts directly with the player only occur while she is under hallucination, it is difficult to assess whether Faith has any notable physical abilities or combat training. Other people in Bliss also follow her instructions, as seen by the many corpses at the base of Joseph's statue, who accepted Faith's suggestions. While in Bliss's hallucination, Faith appears to be able to fly and grows wings made of light. Additionally, he can run abnormally fast for someone of his build. Of course, since this is a hallucination, it is unreliable to base your abilities on this. Faith has the ability to turn people into angels by exposing them to high concentrations of Bliss administered in gaseous or liquid form. Several members of the resistance mention that they find it difficult to kill angels because they recognize them as people they knew from the resistance and who were captured and pacified by this method.
