Valentino has been described as being charming[note 6] and roughly as level-headed as his fellow Overlord, Vox.[note 7] When he interacts with Charlie in his studio he acts cordial around her while struggling to hide his anger and irritation that he would prefer to take out on one of his employees instead, such as Angel Dust. He does, eventually, show off his real behavior after some time. Valentino uses his charming persona in order to lure other demons into working for him, as shown in "Welcome to Heaven" where Valentino admitted spending much of his time in nightclubs, picking up demons and offering them "jobs" at his studios, with him hiding his more violent and psychotic behavior in order to convince them to willingly "work" for him. Valentino is depicted as being controlling, abusive, and narcissistic, specifically towards one of his star employees, Angel Dust.[4][5] He also displays sadistic tendencies, appearing to take enjoyment in overriding Angel's consent, and remains seemingly unbothered by the trauma he is inflicting. Valentino is frequently surrounded by a collection of the girls who work for him. He is ostentatious in displaying both his profession and status. Faustisse bluntly described him as "a huge fuckboi".[note 8] Despite this, he is apparently in a romantic relationship with Vox. Valentino has been described by Angel to be a "psychopathic freak".[6] He has a temperamental side, throwing objects and ripping other demons apart when he is angry, and he doesn't think about how his actions affect his and the Vees' image to where Vox had to explain that "chasing whores around town" will "fuck up" their "image". Once he calms down, he is more pragmatic and fully aware of possible negatives to acting too rashly. On the other hand, even he has his limits. He was visibly shocked when Vox uncharacteristically snapped at him for wanting to murder everyone at the hotel. He is also terrified by Niffty's creepy stalker-ish and homicidal behavior

Vox is an egotistical, charismatic, and manipulative showman of an Overlord who craves attention.[7] To the public, Vox presents himself as a legitimate businessman of VoxTek Enterprises, giving the facade of a man of the people to the denizens of Hell, when in truth, he is power-hungry, and he manipulates their minds to boost his reputation. He is highly intelligent and technology-savvy, and he is always keeping up with the latest trends and technology.[8] He seems to be able to hide his less desirable side in public and even in private unless he's pushed too far. Despite his egocentric nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Overlords and seeks to maintain their collective image of power. As the most level-headed member, Vox often acts as the de facto leader of the Vees. Claiming the Vees' brand to be "perfection", he is often frustrated or outright angered if someone can jeopardize it, such as when he reigns in his fellow Vee, Valentino, from attacking the Hazbin Hotel in response to Angel Dust living there. Another element that earns his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he utterly despises and might be intimidated by as he sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred for Alastor, Vox doesn't let it override his more pragmatic side once he calms down.

Authoritative, confident, trendy, and fashion-savvy, Velvette loves her job and is very ambitious, willing to do anything to get what she wants without any regard for who or what she has to destroy to further her selfish goals. She is a playful, ruthless, and smooth businesswoman who accepts nothing but the best from her associates and wards, and while fectious and childish, she has proved to be more than competent enough at managing multiple businesses at once, managing Vox's company Voxtek, Valentino's studio, and a massive fashion company where she promotes fast fashion and multi-level marketing. Much like her partners Valentino and Vox, she is revolutionary and materialistic, being disgusted by anything that is considered outdated, since those don't trend. She will evidently abandon and betray anyone to have fame and relevancy, as shown in the past when she abandoned Vaggie - her best friend and lover at the time - on the streets of Pentagram City after Vox had offered her a job. She is extremely loyal to Vox and Valentino, willingly covering up all of their horrible crimes and always promoting them, and is, in a sense, the glue that holds the sadistic boys together, though she is not afraid to challenge or insult them. As a killer, she is exceptionally merciless and extremely barbaric; she has no qualms with forcing her victims to watch as their loved ones were massacred, and goes as far as to mock her victims' family members by calling and telling them about how she murdered their loved ones in detail for the sake of recording their reactions. She sometimes has her victims' corpses converted into morbid attractions for the Circus of Hell, such as tying her victims' bodies to strings and using them as marionettes. In addition, she relishes in engaging in turf wars, and was absolutely ecstatic and laughing uncontrollably as she massacred Butcher Town alongside Vox and Valentino
