Due to a disturbing past, he is forced to flee Terranevo to Solefor, where he briefly worked with Edward Hageman. After being fired, Kody's father Aiden hires him to serve as his son's bodyguard. Kody: A witch child who resides in Solefor and friend of his bodyguard, Lumine. He lives with the help of his loving father, Aiden. He cannot perform magic so he is constantly harassed by his classmates, especially Calla, a former friend of his. This makes him hate his school environment. Calla: A popular witch with a lot of power and influence. She is also Kody's former best friend. She began bullying him after he rejected her concern for him. She puts an end to the bullying after Lumine and Kody save her life from people trying to steal her and Kody's blood to sell on the black market. Bill: Kody's late cat who was killed and turned into an evil spirit who didn't know he was evil and harmful. Bill, as a spirit, grows in size and takes control of Kody's body, supposedly trying to help him. Elijah: Another of Kody's old friends. He forced Kody to be friends with him without realizing it. He then abandoned Kody when he thought Kody didn't want to be friends with him. Now, once again, he is trying to be friends with him now that he realized his mistakes. Aiden: Kody's father who worked in a defense squad. He risks his life to save Kody and Lumine </ p>
