Nya •Fire ninja AU•

Nya and her brother Kai were raised by their father, a blacksmith, and their mother in the town of Ignacia. Unbeknownst to Nya, she inherited her father's control over the element of fire. Nya was named after Nyad, the first Elemental Master of Water, whom Maya believed only to be a myth but thought nya would have the elemental powers of water. When Nya was small, Maya told her a story about Nyad, though Nya forgot about it over time. When Nya and Kai were young, Ray would tell them stories of the dragons, mystical creatures that belonged to both the world of the living and of the dead. He would often teach them proverbs such as "No matter how much fire you have, experience isn't something you learn overnight" and "The world works in mysterious ways." At one point, young Nya and Kai met Wu, a friend of their parents. After their parents went missing around the time when Nya was 3 years old, the siblings inherited his shop, Four Weapons, and Kai continued his father's legacy while Nya managed the store itself.[citation needed] At one point, the two had a babysitter named Grumbmiller who they disliked and would trip when she made them go to bed early. Because Grumbmiller's cooking was subpar, Nya would often volunteer to make dinner. At school, Nya went on a number of field trips to the Ninjago Museum of History. Nya would always hate failing or not be good at things growing up, nya would also develop some anger issues not big as kai and acting like an hothead but just anger issues.

One morning the two were working in the store when Kai showed off how to craft a sword, only to make it too quickly and be rendered useless. Nya reminded her brother to take his time and of their late father's advice to be patient. They were soon interrupted as the shop was visited by an old man who complained that none of the merchandise was suited for a Ninja. After Kai told the man off for loitering, Nya motioned for him to attempt to make a sale, though by then the man had vanished. Moments later, a dark cloud appeared and the small village fell under attack by the Skulkin army. Kai suited up for battle and order Nya to stay inside, though not wanting to be left out of the action, she grabbed a Nin-Jô and joined her brother in battle. However, Kai was captured by the Skull Truck and taken away. nya intended to go after them, but was stopped by Wu. He explained to Nya the story of the First Spinjitzu Master and his two sons who fought over the four Golden Weapons, explaining that an honest man—Kai and Nya's father—had been entrusted with the map to their resting places. Nya was advised by Wu to become a ninja to save her older brother, and nya agreed.

Nya was taken to the Monastery of Spinjitzu in order to be trained as a ninja and learn Spinjitzu. During her training, nya had to learn patience, knowing failure will happen in life and how to harness the "fire" inside of her. This training consisted of running a course before Master Wu finishes his tea. Nya accomplished this after a few days and did so by knocking the teacup out of his Master's hands when she was about halfway through the course. She was then told by Wu that he had one final test the next day, and should get some sleep. Later that night, while Nya was pondering Master Wu's training while brushing her teeth, she was set upon by three black-suited ninja. Their fight took them out to the courtyard where nya activated the training course to even the odds. They were quickly stopped by Wu, who revealed that the three ninja were his students as well. Wu then used Creation to give each of the ninja a suit that matched their elemental properties and pronounced nya as the red Master of Fire. After Wu explained their purpose, he announced that they would now leave to claim the first Golden Weapon. On the way there, Kai and the others explained where and how Master Wu found them. Kai revealed that he is journeying to the Underworld to save his sister with Jay replying "a brother, is he overprotective of you having a boyfriend?" nya rolled her eyes but smirked slightly as she replied yes.

Once they arrived at the Caves of Despair, Nya listen to Cole while he is still formulating a plan. They went to Samukai's watchtower, and after Zane stole the map of Golden Weapons, Nya raced ahead. The other ninja followed her into one of the caves and found her waiting at a large boulder asking the others to help remove the large boulder from blocking a hidden room. They did so, Inside they found the Scythe of Quakes, and removed it from its resting place. On their way out, Jay accidentally revealed their position to the skeleton army, and they were soon in a battle. After Jay discovered the key to unlocking his Spinjitzu, Nya and the others were quick to follow. They used it to drive off the skeleton army, after which they discovered that they had a bigger problem in the form of the weapon's guardian, the Earth Dragon. Nya happened to be holding the Scythe at the time and decided that the only way out was to use it, contrary to Master Wu's instructions. After escaping, Nya was strictly reprimanded by Master Wu, and they went onward toward the next weapon, the Shurikens of ice.

While on their way to the Frozen Wasteland, the location of the Shurikens of Ice, Wu told the ninja about the most powerful technique in Spinjitzu, the Tornado of Creation and explained that it could lead to disastrous consequences if done incorrectly. After they succeeded in finding the Shurikens, the ninja ascended to the Floating Ruins for the Nunchucks of Lightning. After retrieving it, they used Jay's gliders to descend into the Forest of Tranquility, where they made camp. Nya was later awoken in the middle of the night and lured to the Fire Temple by Garmadon, who was pretending to be her brother. Nya was forced to remove the Sword of Fire from its pedestal to cut a chain and save her brother from falling. She was then attacked and defeated by her own shadow under Garmadon's manipulation, but Master Wu arrived before the dark lord could claim the sword. Realizing it had just been a trap to lure them away from the other ninja, the three attempted to escape but were stopped by the Fire Dragon. As a last resort, Wu sacrificed himself and ventured into the Underworld with the Sword of Fire. While his act kept the four Golden Weapons apart, Nya and Kai were still left in the hands of the Fire Dragon. Luckily the Fire Dragon soon realized that they were simply trying to protect the weapons, and by the time the other ninja arrived, Kai and Nya had befriended the Dragon. They assembled the other guardian dragons and mounted them cross over into the Underworld.

Once there, the ninja attempted to use the stalactites to sneak past the guards of the Skulkin fortress but accidentally grabbed onto the legs of a Spykor. Out of fear, Nya and the others fell to the ground outside the fortress where they were quickly surrounded by Skulkin and Spykors alike. With their options limited Jay suggested they perform the Tornado of Creation and the ninja successfully performed the technique, turning the fortress into a Ferris Wheel prison. The ninja descended into the throne room where Master Wu was dueling Samukai for the Golden Weapons. Nya forbade the other ninja to interfere as it was their master's fight. Wu was quickly defeated, but when Samukai took the Sword of Fire, a portal between dimensions was formed, and Samukai was destroyed. This allowed Garmadon to escape from the Underworld. Knowing that he would one day return, Nya took the Sword of Fire and vowed to protect it, as did the others with their respective weapons. Nya and the other ninja returned to Four Weapons where they were reunited with Kai and assured the villagers they would be ready when Garmadon returned.

The ninja were told to train by Master Wu but instead opted to spend their time racing their dragons. Jay won the race and began bragging about his skills. Nya and the others challenged him to another race over the forest and back, with the winner becoming "Dragon Master" for a month. Zane objected, feeling that the ninja should be training, to which Cole replied that riding their dragons was a form of training. The race begins, and Nya and Zane flew their dragons over the clouds, where they briefly dueled each other with their dragons' elemental breaths. On the home stretch, they were all neck-and-neck, but Cole won when he "activated the turbo"—a roasted chicken dangled in front of his dragon's nose. Once the others landed, Nya congratulated Cole on the win but said that they would get him the next day. Cole reminds the others that the winner was supposed to be "Dragon Master" for a month, Nya was the only one who agreed when the others denied ever agreeing to the bet. One night, Nuckal and Kruncha infiltrated the Monastery of Spinjitzu to steal the Golden Weapons from the ninja while they slept. Although the theft went off without a hitch, Nya was awoken when the Skulkin Generals lost control of the weapons and accidentally activated the training course. Half-asleep, Nya went outside to shut the course off, irritably reminding Jay that he had to repair whatever flaw was causing it to turn itself on. With that, Nya went back to sleep, completely unaware of Kruncha and Nuckal's presence in the monastery. They quickly returned the Weapons to the ninja with haste and returned to the Underworld. While taking a ride on the Fire Dragon on they're way back from the blacksmith shop after getting kai's stuff, Kai and Nya were suddenly taken to the Fire Temple. After dismounting the Dragon, Flame led Nya to a passage connecting Ninjago to the Underworld. Kai started planning what to do when the ground falls out from beneath him.

He fought back, but they picked him up, disarming him. Nya and Flame then shot a blast of fire, which scared the Skulkin away and seals the passage to the Underworld. With peace throughout Ninjago, The other ninja fell out of training and instead spent their time playing video games. After a three hour marathon, they were interrupted by Wu who unplugged the TV. He encouraged them not to put off tomorrow what could be done today, and to start training again to prepare for his brother's return to Ninjago With nya eating a slice of pizza and tells the others that will was right and they don't know when garmadon could return. At that moment, Kak rushed in, bringing word that Garmadon was spotted in Jamanakai Village. The out-of-shape ninjas and nya rushed out the door and down to the dragon pen where They mounted the Dragons, eager to get back into the fight, the ninja raced each other to Jamanakai Village. Upon arrival, Cole argued with Jay about who had arrived first. They were interrupted by the sound of evil laughter from the village, and they drew their weapons. They approached the village but were surprised to find that it was, in fact, Lloyd Garmadon, the dark lord's son, who was causing trouble. Lloyd threatened to release the serpentine, an ancient race of snakes that once ruled Ninjago unless they give him candy. The ninja tied him to the top of a sign and embarrassed him in front of the villagers as they mocked him by eating candy. As they prepared to return to the monastery, Nya discovered a scroll in Wu's bag which she had taken by mistake. They read it and learned of the Prophecy of the Green ninja. It was said that one ninja will rise above the others and become the Green ninja. The scroll was also inscribed with drawings that are identical to the four ninja, with a fifth ninja in the middle. Jay believed himself to be the Green ninja, as did the Zane and Cole. nya told them to drop it and they probably weren't meant to see the scroll.

when they returned to the monastery, the three Spinjitzu masters challenged themselves to a tournament for the title despite nya suggesting other wise. cole faced off against Jay in the first round and won, thus moving on to the final round against zane. However, the tournament ended when Cole lost control of the Syche of Quakes and the ninja were scolded by Master Wu. Determined to be the Green ninja, The others devoted themselves to training. They were soon ordered back to Jamanakai Village and find that Lloyd had unleashed the Hypnobrai tribe of Serpentine. Nya once again mounted the Fire Dragon and upon arriving at the village, met up with Kai. The ninja found that the Hyprobrai had the ability to hypnotize their victims into doing their bidding, and were doing so to the villagers. After discovering they would need the anti-venom from the Snake General's staff to save the village, the ninja split up and after a fight with the snakes, sent them retreating. After the villagers had been cured of their hypnotism, Zane presented Wu with the staff and apologized for their lazy behavior earlier. With a new threat now upon them, Nya and the others returned to the monastery determined to unlock the secrets of their Golden Weapons and to reach their True Potential. In the days that followed, The others devoted himself to training at the monastery. While Nya was practicing Spinjitzu, Zane iced the course over, causing Nya to slip. She complained about Zane's strange behavior to Jay and Cole, only to be approached by Master Wu who noted that siblings are often different, nya stayed silent while the others told the times Zane acted weird. On Zane's night to cook, Nya joined Wu and the Ninja in the monastery's dining hall. When Zane entered in a pink apron, Nya began to laugh with the others, noting that even she wouldn't wear such a thing. When Cole later started a food fight, Nya joined in.

The next day, Zane told the others that last night he followed a mysterious bird to Lloyd's treehouse fortress. Together, they headed into the Forest of Tranquility and found it exactly where Zane said it would be. Determined to destroy it before it becomes operational, Nya and the other ninja snuck into it and destroyed its supports. They reached the last support, but Cole, who was hypnotized by a serpentine earlier, turns on them. Before long, Master Wu came riding in on Flame playing an ancient flute with Kai also on Flame, which canceled the Serpentine's powers. The group returned to the Monastery on Flame and discovered the Serpentine had set fire to it in order to steal back their staff. Zane asked Shard to put the fire out but, the Monastery was beyond repair. Kai and the others verbally attacked Zane while Nya was defending Zane telling them he didn't know this would happen but they didn't listen. Master Wu caught them reminding them that Zane was their teammate and had them apologize. Before they could, Zane flew off on Shard. Nya and the others assume that he was so hurt by their words that he ran away. Later on, the ninja ate around a fire on a cliff, homeless, until Nya noticed Zane entering the camp. He revealed to them that he was not hurt by their words, but saw the falcon again, and followed it to an abandoned ship. He told them that was their new home, and that he made them dinner. Nya and the others joyfully ran towards their new home, ready to eat Zane's home-cooked food. After arriving on Destiny's Bounty they found that it is in disrepair. Master Wu made the ninja clean up their new home while he ran an errand with Kai, which they were reluctant to do. They proceeded in cleaning it up, dusting the sail, cleaning the cabins, and reworking the electronics. When finished, they put all the trash and junk in the bin outside. Later on, while the ninja were relaxing, Jay's parents, Ed and Edna, arrive. They were given the tour of the Bounty by Jay.

But he insisted that they leave due to the threat of the Serpentine. While there, they revealed that Jay was born in a junkyard, a fact which Jay is embarrassed about. Eventually, his parents were reluctant to go but leave before dark. Before going they implored that Jay visits them sometime soon. Jay agreed, and they headed out. The next day as they were doing work on the bridge, the other ninja tried to convince Jay to visit his parents. Although he was reluctant at first, he agrees to go. He went to mount Wisp but found that he had no interest in going anywhere. Master Wu told the ninja that their dragons were molting, and were to return to the Spirit Coves in order to reach maturity. The ninja were disheartened, and Kai asked to accompany him on the long walk. Nya agreed and the others even though Jay wanted nya to only come with him, and so the whole team accompanied him. When the ninja arrive, they found Jay's parents nowhere to be found, until they found them locked in an old refrigerator. They learned that another tribe of serpentine, the Fangpyre, had bitten Jay's parents and infected them with venom, slowly turning them into serpentine. Nya and the other ninja were ambushed by the Fangpyre, who, lead by Lloyd, had turned the whole junkyard into a snake infected area. Nya and the others defeated the snakes and attempted to escape. Master Wu told them that they could get out of there faster by turning their Golden Weapons into vehicles. Nya turned her sword into a bike and drove away as the others did the same. They escaped with Jay's parents after stealing the Snake General's staff, returned to the Bounty, and cured Ed and Edna with the anti-venom. The Bounty was rocked to the side by one of the Fangpyre helicopters, and they dropped the staff, returning it to the serpentine and Lloyd. Zane was woken up with a start one morning and recalled that he had a dream. Kai and the others asked him what it was about, and he told them that he saw the green ninja.

The Others implored him to elaborate, but Master Wu interrupted and reminded them that it is time for training. On the deck, Wu teached them different poses, all the while the others were ignoring him to learn more about the dream with nya the only one not caring about being the green ninja. Wu caught them slacking off, and told the others that as punishment they must train all day and come up with the answer to a riddle, "What is the best way to defeat an enemy?" jay failed to interpret the riddle along with the other ninja, so Master Wu left them to train. Zane finished telling the others about the dream while Nya was listening in as she walked away, and Nya quietly assumed herself to be the green ninja, due to the green ninjas fists being aflame in Zane's dream. The others argued over who was the real green ninja and got back to training. Later on, they found out that a boarding school had been attacked by Lloyd and an unknown Serpentine member named Pythor. The Destiny's Bounty took them there, where they dropped through the roof of the building on an anchor. Nya and the others chased the panicking Lloyd through the building until they reached the roof. There, Pythor stole Lloyd's map of the Serpentine Tombs and disappeared. The ninja took Lloyd back to the Bounty and found that Master Wu was reading him a bedtime story. They were confused as to why he was read a bedtime story after causing so much trouble, and Master Wu revealed the answer to the riddle- the best way to defeat your enemy, is to make him your friend. later nya was on the hanger bay when Zane came in furious asking nya why she put her red ninja gi with his whites showing his now pink not knowing it was Lloyd. Lloyd screwed with the other Ninjas hobbies as well ruining Jay's robot, and Cole's chili, but he was eventually caught, and reprimanded by the ninja. They tried to snitch on him to Wu, but he revealed that he put Lloyd up to it to teach the ninja "the destructive power of rumors."

After this turn of events, Nya revealed that she had located the Constrictai and Venomari serpentine tombs. Nya and Jay took the Venomari tomb while Zane and Cole took the Constrictai tomb. They arrived in the Toxic Bogs and found that the tomb had already been opened. They soon found that they were being ambushed. Jay was intoxicated with Venomari venom and began to see werewolf's and vampires attacking him. Nya attempted to protect her while Jay is trembling from the visions. Cole and Zane arrived but were followed by Pythor and the Constrictai. As the two tribes surrounded them, the ninja believed they will not survive the next attack. Jay hallucinated that a rope was in front of him as nya told him otherwise, only for an actual rope to appear moments later. Suddenly, a mysterious Samurai in a massive robotic mech appeared and scared away the Serpentine. The Samurai saved the ninja but knocked them unconscious. They were soon saved by Wu in the Bounty. Back on the ship, the ninja were eating dinner (while Jay was still intoxicated,) while telling Lloyd and the others about the mysterious samurai. Jay insisted that he had weapons coming out from every part of him, but the ninja reminded the others that he was sprayed with the Venomari venom. They got an alert later on that the Serpentine had been spotted in Ninjago City, and the ninja quickly ascended there, expecting to find a massive serpentine gathering in the streets (at this point Jay's intoxication wears off.) They found that the Serpentine had gathered underneath the city, and ventured below. They found Pythor giving a speech to the serpentine tribes, attempting to unite them. The ninja knew this was a bad sign, so they used the destructive power of rumors to try and ruin his assembly. They were eventually caught and were chased throughout the sewers. Nya, Cole, and Jay were quickly captured, and Zane was left trying to escape from them. After using his pink gi to distract the snakes.

He broke out Nya and the others and they escaped, having ruined Pythor's plans. Later on, back on the Bounty, Lloyd apologized for messing with the Ninja's things and revealed that he had cleaned Zane's gi. The ninja were eating breakfast talking about the Samurai when Jay offered the other ninja a bet: whoever found out the identity of Samurai X, they will be the best and the green ninja. Nya declined but the others agreed to the terms but were interrupted by the arrival of the mailman, who had brought them their new ninja suits. As they were checking the new merchandise, they got an alert that some snakes had been spotted at Mega Monster Amusement Park. They put on their new suits, and arrived at the park to find that the serpentine had already been apprehended by the Samurai. The ninja made it their mission to catch this samurai, and they split up separately to do so even though nya tried to talk them out of it saying samurai x is trying to help. Later, when it was her turn to look after Lloyd, she dropped him off at an arcade, then left to get some food for her and nya and asked Lloyd to stay put. After finding Lloyd missing, the ninja went looking for him at the Lost City of Ouroboros. The ninja got trapped in a cage that Pythor set up knowing they would come, and stole their golden weapons. He forced them to battle the Samurai X to entertain the other Serpentine, and they found out that they were no match for him. In a strange turn of events, the Samurai helped them escape while stealing back their Golden Weapons. The ninja and Samurai X crash landed somewhere nearby and were left scattered. Nya regrouped Herself and found that she landed near the Samurai. she walked up to him and found that their secret identity was none other than her older brother the whole time! Kai implored her that he doesn't tell the others his secret, and nya agreed, but warned him about the bet the other's made. Kai asked why isn't she participating.

With nya saying she's fine not being the green ninja and is happy being the fire ninja. And she and the ninja returned home separately than Kai. Back at the Bounty, the others interrogated Nya about the encounter she had with the Samurai. She told them that he just handed him the Golden Weapons and left, which was a lie. The ninja had a hard time believing this but carried on their meal.

APPEARANCE

she has short black hair fashioned in a bob cut and red lipstick. Her eyelashes are represented with three dashe. She wear gi and cloth masks that are similar to her original outfits, but with the addition of armor on various parts of her body. The armor design varies between ninja, but all have a three-pronged "crowns" on the foreheads of their masks and rugged golden armor, plates on their shoulders. The back of the suit features a holder for katanas, but the ninja keep there Golden Weapon there.

PERSONALITY

Nya is a strong woman who oozes great confidence and charm. The only girl on the ninja team. she is also a tomboy.

HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT THE OTHERS

Kai: Family to her Cole: She considers him as a friend who has her back no matter what Zane: a kind and sweet friend. she also believes he's autistic. Lloyd: a good kid on hear and is still trying to adjust Jay: she feels conflicted about him since she knows Jay likes her and she doesn't know how to feel about him Master Wu: A nice and good yet strict teacher
