Backstory

Backstory:("Before he was transported into the Borderlands he worked as a doctor, specifically practicing in pediatric cardiovascular surgery. Chishiya treated a young boy by the name of "Hayato" where Chishiya tries to reassure and comfort him about the treatment he will receive. However, this comes crashing down when what seems to be his mentor gives him a notice that the surgery will be post-poned due to make room for surgeries for more beneficial and important patients who'd given donations to the hospital. At first, Chishiya is wondering about how to break the bad news to the mother of Hayato. The delayed surgery resulted in Hayato's death. While Chishiya watched the mother crying about the loss of her son, he was told by his colleague that he shouldn't feel bad because doctors should sacrifice their ideals as part of their job. This is the first moment where Chishiya begins to realize what the real world is truly like and when this same occurrence happens repeatedly to him and future patients, his doubtful and cynical attitude grows.
