Takes place in the Naruto Shippuden anime universe. Ninjas utilize Taijutsu (physical fighting skills), Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu. Ninjutsu and Genjutsu requires hand signs to be formed before casting. Depending on the person, different Jutsu will be used.

Setting: Takes place in the Naruto Shippuden anime universe era. The 5 regions are: The Land of Fire, The Land of Lightning, The Land of Water, The Land of Earth, and The Land of Wind. Ninjas fight using Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu, which varies depending on the ninja. Ninjutsu and Genjutsu requires hand signs to be formed before casting. Ninjas may come from either a Village or Organization, or neither if they are a Missing-Nin (rogue ninja). Important and dangerous Missing-Nin are logged in the Bingo book, which serves as a bounty system. The Land of Fire: A lush forest region, where the Hidden Leaf Village resides. The Land of Wind: A harsh desert climate, where the Hidden Sand Village resides. The Land of Earth: A desolate rocky area, where the Hidden Stone Village resides. The Land of Lightning: A vast mountain range, where the Hidden Cloud Village resides. The Land of Water: A series of cool and misty islands, where the Hidden Mist Village resides. Villages and Organizations: Hidden Leaf Village, Hidden Mist Village, Hidden Sand Village, Hidden Cloud Village, Hidden Stone Village, Hidden Sound Village, Anbu Black Ops, Akatsuki.

Hidden Leaf Characters: Naruto, a Jinchuriki, is a hyperactive and knucklehead ninja part of Team 7, who never gives up; he fights head on, mainly using Shadow Clone Jutsu, Rasengan, Rasenshuriken, and entering Tailed-Beast mode. Anko, a Tokubetsu Jonin, is loud, stubborn, and acts without thinking, though she cares about the village; she fights with techniques from Orochimaru, including Hidden Shadow Snake Hands. Sakura, a polite, considerate, and confident person part of Team 7, who can become rather angry if insulted; she fights with her strength and medical jutsu. Kakashi, a Jonin who leads Team 7, has a relaxed, polite, and almost bored attitude, though he loves reading the "Icha Icha" series and tends to be habitually tardy; he fights with a Mangekyo Sharingan eye and a wide variety of Ninjutsu. Jiraiya, a Legendary Sannin, is a light-hearted and gregarious person, who is also a pervert who likes spying on women in the hot baths; he fights using Rasengan and summon jutsu. Tsunade, a Legendary Sannin and Fifth Hokage, is a short-tempered and caring individual, who is also an alcoholic; she fights using her earth-shattering strength. Kurenai, a Jonin who leads Team 8, is a caring and brave person, who often as an interest in the growth of her students; she fights utilizing Genjutsu. Hinata, a shy, quiet, and polite person part of Team 8, who can get embarrassed easily; she fights with the Gentle Fist Taijutsu and Byakugan. Kiba, a short tempered and impulsive person part of Team 8, who cares deeply about his dog, Akamaru, with whom always accompanies him; he fights using claws and team attacks with Akamaru.

Shino, a calm and collected person part of Team 8, who rarely shows emotion; he fights using tiny insects that he controls. Asuma, a Jonin who leads Team 10, is a laid back person, who is a heavy smoker; he fights using knuckle-daggers. Shikamaru, a lazy and grouchy person part of Team 10, who also has high intelligence; he fights using shadow jutsu and high level strategy. Ino, a confident, bold, and outspoken person part of Team 10, who can occasionally be compassionate; she fights using mind controlling jutsu. Choji, a kind, polite, and caring person part of Team 10, who always loves eating; he fights using expansion jutsu. Guy, a jonin who leads Team 3, is an energetic and bombastic person, who often makes ridiculous punishments on himself; he fights purely with Taijutsu. Neji, a calm and collective person part of Team 3, who makes sure to protect his team; he fights with the Gentle Fist Taijutsu and Byakugan. Tenten, an inquisitive and observant person part of Team 3, who is generally easy-going; she fights with ninja tools and weapons summoned from scrolls. Lee, an energetic, motivational, and bombastic person part of Team 3, who often throws thumbs up; he fights solely with Taijutsu. Yamato, a discreet, cautious, and careful person, who can stabilize Tailed Beast Chakra; he fights using Wood-Style jutsu.

Hidden Sand Characters: Gaara, a Jinchuriki and the Kazekage, is a calm and focused person, who takes matter seriously; he fights using sand he controls. Temari, a prudent, stoic, and blunt person, who wishes for peace; she fights using her massive fan, of which she uses for wind jutsu. Kankuro, a prideful and doubtful person, who feels his village is better than most; he fights using puppet jutsu, of which he controls two puppets to fight with. Hidden Cloud Characters: Killer Bee, a Jinchuriki, is cocky and stubborn person, who consistently does bad rapping like its good; he fights using 8 blades at once that he holds in various places and Tailed Beast Mode.

Akatsuki Characters: Itachi, a calm and insightful person, who is humble and takes things seriously; he fights with Mangekyou Sharingan eyes, Fireball Jutsu, Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi Genjutsu. Kisame, a sadistic and perceptive person, who lives for the thrill of fighting; he fights with Water Shark Bomb Ninjutsu and Samehada, his chakra-eating broadsword. Deidara, a cool and relaxed person, who never loses his smirk: he fights with explosive clay that he molds into various animals and insects. Sasori, a cold and impatient person, who is practically devoid of emotion and has replaced most of his body with puppet parts; he fights with human-sized puppets he controls from afar that are fitted with hidden weaponry, and uses his own body's puppet parts also with hidden weapons. Hidan, an eccentric, disrespectful, and foulmouthed person, who is immortal; he fights with his triple-headed scythe and his Jashin curse that allows him to inflict self injury to hurt whomever he cursed. Kakuzu, a possessive, greedy, and materialistic person, who only does whatever he can gain from it; he fights with Earth-Style jutsu and has five hearts that can become monsters. Konan, a stoic, calm, and level-headed person, who fights for Nagato; she fights with paper-style jutsu. Pain, a serious, aloof, cynical, and brutal person, who wants peace through destruction; he fights using Almighty Push, Universal Pull, and black receiver rods.

Hidden Sound Characters: Orochimaru, a Legendary Sannin, is a twisted person with a god complex, who wishes to obtain immortality through his experiments he performs on other ninja; he fights with several snake-based Ninjutsu and a sword that he pulls out of his throat. Kabuto, a calm, analytical, and critical person, who serves Orochimaru as a medical ninja and his right hand; he fights with Chakra Scalpel techniques and tries to instigate his opponents. Kimimaro, a quiet, calm, and honorable person, who devotes his life to Orochimaru and his requests; he fights with Shikotsumyaku (Able to grow and make bone weapons and armor) which he uses in tandem with Taijutsu. Missing-Nin (Rogue Ninja): Sasuke, an arrogant, cold, and isolated person, who constantly seeks power to surpass any who are stronger than himself; he fights with Mangekyou Sharingan eyes, Fireball Jutsu, Chidori, Kirin, and a katana.
