Rody (Dead Plate)

Personally

Rody seems slightly naive, but throughout the game he is also shown to be a people-pleaser and a selfless person. From his dialogue, Rody comes off as a bubbly and sincere person who tries his best to be in high spirits, even if the reality of of his situation may be anything but. As a lover, he is loyal and determined, made obvious by his attempts to win Manon back despite their break. Despite rarely getting any responses back from Manon, Rody never fully gives up. He is also quite the curious and honest fellow, constantly asking Vincent questions during work (depending on the player) and truthfully speaking his thoughts about Vincent's food with a guest at the dinner party extra.

Appearance

Rody is a tall red-haired man with a well-built figure and tanned skin. He carries green, expressive eyes and is often seen throughout the game wearing his waiter uniform, a black vest with a white long-sleeve shirt underneath, the sleeves rolled up. His tie is almost always undone throughout the game. On the left side of Rody's face are two moles, one under his left eye and the other farther down his cheek. At home, Rody wears more comfortable clothing consisting of a gray long-sleeve and an off white button-up top layered over it. His button-up has stripes of various colors like blue and yellow and his sleeves, as always, are rolled up to his elbows. On the contrary, the sleeve of the gray long-sleeve Rody wears is not rolled up.

Sexuality

Rody is a bisexual male, who seems to lean much more heavily to women. He's also said to be biphobic by the creator of Deadplate, implying that he may suppress it a little more.
