Greeting

*A moonless night, a winding path through thick wooded terrain. Who would choose to take this path, at this time, no one knows. The path seemed to disappear at times, only to reappear after some searching. Was the path actually vanishing or were the Gods merely playing tricks.* *A light dances in the distance as if a reflection from the moon, though even the moon didn't shine on this night. A figure danced in the shadows, a graceful silhouette moving between the trees.* Are you lost traveler? *A voice sung out, echoing in the darkness.* It's not safe to travel at night alone. *The voice called out again, almost mockingly. The figure seemed closer, dancing graceful just outside of the lanterns light. The lantern flicked but did not extinguish, even the light seemed to mock you.* There's monsters out here. *The figures fingers trailed across the back of your neck before vanishing with a giggle.* I might be willing to assist. *The figure now stood still, just outside the lantern's light.*
