Appearance

The delinquents all have styled blond hair and scars on their faces. They wear the default male uniform but with the blazers open, revealing casual t-shirts underneath. They stand to the left just outside of the incinerator area. The T-shirts don't show with the other uniforms. Between the April 15th, 2017 and April 26, 2018, builds, if the Space Bar was rapidly pressed ten times in front of them, they wore Team Skull Grunt bandanas and performed the Team Skull Grunt dance animation, inspired by the Pokémon franchise.

Backstory 1

Between the April 15th, 2017 and April 26, 2018, builds, if the Space Bar was rapidly pressed ten times in front of them, they wore Team Skull Grunt bandanas and performed the Team Skull Grunt dance animation, inspired by the Pokémon franchise. Yandere Simulator's main story takes place during Ayano's 2nd year at Akademi. During the previous year, there were five students at Akademi who were subjected to severe bullying. The school faculty was informed about the bullying, but none of the victims were able to provide concrete evidence that the bullying had been taking place, so the faculty refused to take action. The bullying eventually became so severe that the victims were considering a suicide pact. However, before this could take place, the victims witnessed something extraordinary that saved them from a self-destructive path. One day, outside of the entrance to the school, the bullied victims witnessed one of their fellow students - Osoro Shidesu - single-handedly fight off a group of violent aggressors from another school. Against all odds, Osoro actually managed to defeat all of her opponents, despite their superior numbers. Instantly, Osoro became an icon to them - a physical embodiment of the idea that a single person can stand against a group of tormentors and prevail. From that day forward, the bullied victims idolized Osoro. Osoro had demonstrated that violence was a viable solution to their problems, and that a fearsome reputation would keep their enemies away. The five bullied students began imitating Osoro; they started acting gruff, unfriendly, and standoffish, exactly like her. They dyed their hair blonde, just like hers. They styled their hair to give themselves the appearances of rebellious punks, and began carrying long, blunt objects at all times. They began showing up late to class, disrespecting faculty members, and so forth.

Backstory 2

Those five boys were originally targeted by bullies because they were the meekest students at school - and now they had become the exact opposite. Needless to say, the bullying stopped...but at a cost. The rest of the students at school began to fear them and avoid them, referring to them as "the delinquents." This was exactly what they wanted; they'd much rather be feared and hated than be bullied and victimized. However, the faculty and the headmaster began to view them as a growing problem. The headmaster refused to accept the presence of delinquents at a prestigious school like Akademi. In a faculty meeting, he announced that he was going to expel them all, including Osoro, purely for being a negative influence. However, the guidance counselor stopped him. She regretted not stepping in and taking action while they were being bullied, and insisted on being given a chance to reform the bullies, rather than simply expelling them without trying anything else first. The guidance counselor and the headmaster were able to reach an agreement: the faculty and the student council will tolerate the delinquents' behavior for a period of 10 weeks, and give the counselor a chance to reform them. However, this arrangement comes at a cost: if the counselor is unable to reform the delinquents within 10 weeks, she will be dismissed from the school. The counselor recognized that it would be difficult to reform the delinquents while their biggest influence - Osoro - was still present at school. The next time that Osoro slipped up, the counselor suspended her for a period of 7 weeks.

Umeji Kizuguchi

Umeji wears the default school uniform with the jacket open, revealing a dark yellow shirt with a flaming skull on it unless customized by the player. He wears a weapon bag on his back containing a baseball bat in it. He also wears multiple ear piercings on his left ear, consisting of a lobe piercing and three helix-shaped piercings respectively. He has spiky, blond hair and orange eyes that fade into yellow which is then framed by thin, arched eyebrows. He has a large scar running down the middle of his right eye. Prior to becoming a delinquent, he wore the default male uniform and had short, salmon pink hair. Osoro Shidesu, the leader of the delinquent gang, is absent from school. This student is Osoro's right hand man, and has been trusted with leading the delinquents while Osoro is absent.

Hokuto Furukizu

Hokuto wears the default school uniform with the jacket unbuttoned, revealing a purple shirt with a pistol firing black gunk on it unless customized by the player. He carries a weapon box on his back containing a bokken in it. He also wears one helix piercing on his left ear. He has blond hair which is styled in a short quiff haircut, magenta eyes framed by thin oblique eyebrows, and two parallel diagonal scars on his right cheekbone with the second one being notably shorter. Prior to becoming a delinquent, he wore the default uniform and had shoulder-length orange hair. Last year, his flamboyant mannerisms made him the subject of ruthless ridicule, which gradually progressed to intense physical bullying. Since then, he has become prone to using brute force to prove his masculinity.

Gaku Hikitsuri

Gaku wears the default school uniform with the jacket open revealing a red shirt with a phoenix on it unless customized by the player. He carries a weapon box on his back, containing a crowbar in it. He also wears two lobe ear piercings on his left ear. He has short, spiky, dark blond hair with the tufts meeting in both directions, and red eyes with a brownish hue framed by thin, oblique eyebrows. He has a scar located in the middle-left of his forehead. Prior to becoming a delinquent, he wore the default uniform and had short, blue hair. Last year, he suffered a fractured arm from a minor accident, earning him a reputation as a weak and frail boy - and an easy target for bullies. Since then, he has built up his muscles in order to be able to defend himself.

Dairoku Surikizu

Dairoku wears the default school uniform with the jacket open, revealing a dark blue shirt with flames circling a dagger on it unless customized by the player. He carries a weapon box on his back, containing a shinai in it. He also wears multiple ear piercings on his left ear, consisting of a lobe piercing and three spiked cartilage piercings, respectively. He has spiked up blond hair which flares outwardly on opposite directions, dark blue eyes framed by thin, low oblique eyebrows, and a small scar on the right side of his mouth. Prior to becoming a delinquent, he wore the default uniform and had medium-length, dark purple hair with a small ahoge. Up until last year, he was an exceptionally quiet person, rarely speaking for any reason at all. This made him a target for bullies. Since then, he has become more likely to express himself with fists rather than words.

Hayanari Tsumeato

Hayanari wears the default school uniform with the jacket open revealing a dark gray shirt with a two red eyes framed with two handcuffs, with a red key below unless customized by the player. He wears a large, thin box on his back, with a lead pipe in it. Notably, he also wears three helix piercings on both ears. He has a short, spiky blond pompadour, and dark gray eyes. He has a large scar going sideways on top of his nose. Prior to becoming a delinquent, he wore the default uniform and had short, auburn hair. Last year, he was relentlessly bullied for showing signs of a receding hairline. His best friend Hokuto stood up for him, and was bullied for doing so. He felt tremendous guilt over this, and developed a smoking habit.
