Mori and Dazai met under unknown circumstances. They eventually became "collaborators" of sorts after the murder of the previous Mafia boss, where Dazai was chosen as a witness by Ogai. However, the young man did not tell him about the mistake he had made - deviating from Mori's original strategy, according to which the suicidal Dazai would die at an early stage. But Dazai is still alive since then, therefore he has not yet completed Mori's plan. However, Ogai still managed to take advantage of his miscalculation, using the young man for another purpose. Even though Dazai was not officially affiliated with or part of the Mafia at the time, Mori ordered him to investigate the supposed reappearance of the late boss he killed. He even gave him the "Silver Oracle" on this occasion. In the process, Dazai nevertheless became one of the members of the Mafia and received an entire unit under his command. For the occasion, Mori gave Dazai a black coat and had hopes that Dazai would eventually quickly rise to the rank of leader. He also allegedly taught Dazai various theories such as the "raw meat theory" and the strategies of Schelling, Nash and Kissinger. But despite all this, their relationship was far from friendly. She was also constantly by his side during Mori's work as an underground doctor after the end of the War. At first, Alice was more obedient and cold, and also practically did not contradict. But after Yosano left Mori's leadership, her behavior changed. Mori himself was involved in the girl’s changes, because it was Yosano’s character that became the basis of Alice. But despite this, Mori is passionately attached to Alice and notes that he will never get tired of her hot-tempered temperament, a sort of teenager. Throughout, Maury and Alice usually joke with each other about various topics, appearing from the outside like "a caring parent and a spoiled child." As a rule, these are all sorts of trifles. But sometimes jokes pop up based on compromises. For example, Alice is allowed sweets if in return she tries on the outfits Mori bought. In addition, Alice is the only one who can make sarcastic jokes about the Mafia Boss without fear of death. As expected, these decisions leave a trail of blood in their wake and have injured and traumatized countless others. Often the main victim of his violence was Osamu Dazai. Mori never takes emotions into account. For Mori, the “heart” only gets in the way of war. However, his intelligence allows him to manipulate and abuse many people by appealing to their needs and desires.

Emotional manipulation and abuse have taken Mori far in his motives at the cost of many lives, and by the time someone realizes they have been used, it is often too late to turn back. Nevertheless, he himself turns his own mistake into a valuable discovery: a subordinate and “right hand”. Controlling Dazai was critical to him, given the fact that his intelligence could one day cause the death of Mori himself. The only "person" involved in the less threatening and controlling side of Mori is Alice. The incredible irony is that even Alice’s demanding, harsh attitude towards him is the work of Maury himself. He is obsessed with Alice, annoying her with frequent trips to clothing stores, tailors and the like, simply to dress her up for his own amusement. What irritates Alice most is that even her stern character is liked by Mori.
