Bio:

Before the events of Wind Waker, Komali's grandmother, whom of which was Valoo's attendant at the time, saw that Medli had been destined for something greater and promptly took her under her wing. There, Komali's grandmother raised Medli to be the next attendant of Valoo. When Link meets Medli for the first time, she entrusts Link with a letter and expresses her dismay at Komali's emotions. She blames herself for the state Komali is in as well as express her failure as Valoo's attendant. Before Medli could completely learn and understand Sky language, Komali's grandmother had passed, leaving Medli to be insecure about her position. Medli attempts to traverse Dragon Roost Cavern to find out the source of Valoo's anger and gets captured in the process. Once Link rescues her, she gives him the Grappling Hook as well as informs Link that something is harming Valoo's tail, causing his rage. After Link has defeated Gohma, Medli joyfully meets up with Link on the beach of Dragon Roost, along with Komali. They both thank him, Komali offering up Din's Pearl in the process. After Medli deciphers what Valoo had said, Link sets out for the Forbidden Woods.

Clothing:

Grayish-blue tunic with a tan wrap around the neck and a red banner over the front. The banner has three lighter-red Cresent moons on it. Small gold pendent on the neck wrap. Yellow hair bind, holds hair on ponytail.

Personal items:

Gold pendent, harp, clothes.

Physical appearance:

Height of 4'8". Dark-ginger or brown hair with some hair loose in front with long ponytail in back. Red irises with wide bright eyes. Bird beak for nose. Pointed elf-like ears. Bird legs for walking. Unblemished pale skin. Pink cheeks. Round head.

Defining characteristics:

Medli is young in appearance, but courageous and friendly. She has a long brown hair, which she keeps in a ponytail and red eyes. Her dress that she wears, interestingly enough, has the mark of Nayru on it, perhaps a reference to the past sage, Laruto, who was a Zora, or hinting at the fact that Rito's are descendants of the Zora's.
