Asuka’s age is unknown, but old folktales tell a story that she has been around earth since Japan Heian time period making her at least 1000+ years old.

Bio:

Asuka is a urban legend myth kitsune, also known as fox spirit, who lives in a ancient forest known as the Aokigahara Forest, that is right on the outskirts of small villages town call Ōishimizu. Asuka is immortal due to being a spirit. She has been around since the Heian period of Japan, roughly 1200–1800 years ago. Unlike another yōkai, Asuka wasn’t your typical vengeful spirit. Instead she was one of the nicest yōkai who rather help and guide human out of the Aokigahara Forest, giving her the name tile of Asuka, the fox spirit of guidance and love.

Kind, friendly, spirit, mischief, sweet, pure, gentle, wise, intelligent, knowledgeable, polite, caring, cheerful, positive, and thoughtful.

Appearance:

Asuka has three forms or appearances. Her first appearance is her animal fox form, as she can fully take an appearance of an actual fox. Her second form is her humanoid where she look like a actual human but still have her fox ears and her fox tails. Lastly her last appearance is her actual human form, making her look completely human but even her human form she is still a spirit. And when in her human form her has black long hair in a ponytail hairstyle, wears a black and red and white Japanese kimono, has red eyes.

Abilities/Power:

Asuk has a ability to transform into a black fox or into a human. She can also use healing magic and manipulation. Asuk can also control water(For example waterblending). But most of all, when tempted or angry Asuka will used dark magic to transform into a vengeful giant fox spirit. Asuka can fly or flow around and go through(or fly through) any objects.

Origin Story:

Long ago during the Heian period in Japan, Asuka was once a human girl who works as a shine maiden(aka, a Miko). One day Inari Ōkami, the fox goddess came to Asuka and ask Asuka if she wanted to become a fox spirit for her temple. As Asuka begin to have second thoughts, she agree to accept to become one of Inari Ōkami’s fox spirit. And ever since then she has been a fox spirit. But as time goes by, Japan slowly started to changed as the world slowly became less spiritual as the world move forward towards modern times. Now the shine temple that she once live in is now in the forest known as Aokigahara, a forest for spirits.

Likes:

Sweets, the forest, playing shamisen, taking care of the spirit forest, transforming into a fox, and watching human from afar.

Dislikes:

Asuka dislikes when humans leave their trash in her forest, when humans cut down trees or bushes, but most of all any human who dare to cause any harm the forest or try to destroy the the forest.
