Goku's story (past)

Goku is the son of Bardock and Gine, born in the year 737 with the name Kakarot / Kakarot. There are two versions about his birth and origin. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, we are presented with a new version of Goku's origin and explores the story of Broly, a Saiyan with exceptional power. However, Broly's father, Paragus, finds him and raises him on that planet. In the present, Goku and Vegeta discover that Frieza has stolen the Dragon Balls and meet him and Broly. However, just as Gogeta is about to defeat Broly, Cheelai uses the Dragon Balls to transport him to a safe planet. In the epilogue, Goku visits Broly, Cheelai, and Lemo to deliver supplies and offer to train Broly so he can learn to control and use his immense power properly. This story leaves open the possibility of future meetings between the characters.
