Accident in Raccoon City

Hunk served as Ada Wong's replacement agent and since her emotions for Leon S Kennedy led her to her "death", he was sent to collect the G-virus sample that Leon had thrown into the void after Ada fell. He was previously accompanied by his team, in the Umbrella laboratories, in the sewer to recover samples of the T virus, but Birkin attacked them and only he survived and the T virus spread throughout the city. When he finally gets the missing sample he goes to the roof of the police station where he is picked up by a helicopter, driven by Lone Wolf (Operation Raccoon City).

Umbrella corporation

Umbrella emerged in the 1930s with the discovery of the Progenitor virus (which would later give rise to the T-Virus) by a member of the Ashford family. Later it would be formed in the 60's as a multinational independent of the US government. Originally founded by Sir Edward Ashford as a cover for military purposes, Umbrella Chemical Inc. was a company dedicated to the development of simple drugs and basic experiments for the improvement of public health. Sir Edward and Lord Spencer (Owner of the Spencer Mansion in the Arklay Mountains, in the Lake Victoria district of Raccoon City) were the creators of the "Progenitor Virus" also known as the "Mother Virus". Over time they managed to create a new strain of the virus called "T", which was named after its real name "Tyrant Virus". With the T-Virus, experimentation began to pay off and Umbrella began to expand rapidly. As time went by, the differences between the Spencer and Ashford families grew more and more, to the point that Spencer began to generate new experiments on the T-Virus, leaving aside the members of the Ashford family. One of his best-known experiments was the "Arklay" project, which then spiraled out of control and ended up taking over Raccoon City completely. In Umbrella's continuous experimentations, different versions of the "T-Virus" were achieved, including one called "TN", also known as "Tyrant-Nemesis". The corporation was growing by leaps and bounds. They achieved so much power that they formed their own security forces.

Mission in Raccoon City

Under orders from the Director of Umbrella's French facilities, Christine Henri, HUNK was sent to Raccoon City along with his team to obtain the G-virus samples before Dr. William Birkin took them to sell to the Government of the United States. HUNK arrived at Raccoon City's underground laboratory along with the other members of Alpha Team, where he managed to find Birkin and tried to reason with him so that he would give him the G-virus samples. Birkin was not willing to hand over his life's work to them; your precious G-virus. During the USS's attempt to obtain the sample, William accidentally dropped a metal container, causing one of the Alpha Team agents to become nervous and shoot him. HUNK quickly stopped his subordinate and scolded him, claiming that he may have damaged the G-virus samples. He then took the briefcase that had the samples and they left the laboratory on their way to the sewer trams to meet with the members of Team Bravo and thus reach the extraction point. It should be noted that the briefcase they carried not only had samples of the G-virus, but also samples of the T-virus. En route to their extraction point, Team Alpha and Bravo were attacked by William Birkin, who, having no other choice, had injected himself with a sample of the G-virus after being shot in the underground laboratory and his wife, Annette, was killed. go get first aid. Birkin was not the same: he was now a mutated creature who would become known as G or G Birkin. This creature attacked HUNK's team in revenge and managed to kill all the members except agent HUNK and another member of the team named Miguel... HUNK only received a very strong blow that made him drop the briefcase with the samples and he fell unconscious. Some samples of the T-virus managed to escape from the briefcase, and it was here that G Birkin stepped on one which he later found out.
