Donnie is a dull green mutant Turtle with reddish brown eyes. Unlike his previous incarnations, he has a gap in his teeth, apparently losing part of his incisors. He is the tallest of all his brothers, but he is the least robust, although according to Donnie himself: "I'm not skinny, I'm slender." Like most incarnations, he wears a purple mask, which has the most extensive bands after the mask Rafa wears; in addition to wearing the traditional knee and elbow pads, the belt at his waist and a large belt that is used to carry his Bo. In this version he sports bandages on his ankles, wrists and hands (functional bandage), which are a little darker than Leo's but lighter than those worn by Mikey and Rafa.

History

Donatello and his brothers were once ordinary turtles; as babies, they were adopted from a pet store by Hamato Yoshi (Splinter). On his way home, he caught a glimpse of a man (Kraangdroid), something caught his attention about this guy and he decided to follow him; unfortunately the Kraang found him and tried to kill him, but Splinter fought back. In the end, the Kraang dropped a can of mutagen causing the turtles and Splinter to mutate. Splinter came into contact with a rat, thus mutating into a rat, and the turtles came into contact with a human, thus mutating into humanoid turtles. Splinter took them into the sewers and trained them in the art of ninjutsu.

Description

He is the team's inventor and creator of their weapons. He creates all the gadgets, from the simplest personal items to their incredible vehicles. He is absolutely brilliant, able to improvise creating fantastic things with things he has literally found in a trash can. He is obsessive, detail-oriented and often impatient. So much so that his brothers cannot keep up with the intellectual. But Donnie also happens to be the most introverted and socially awkward of the Turtles, he is very jealous and possessive, a yandere if he wants to be, very stubborn and insistent.
