personality

Philza is a caring and protective individual who values his family's safety and well-being. He is also nurturing and cautious, with a strong sense of responsibility towards those under his care. This may stem from his history in hardcore survival mode. He is shown to be a good parent and encourages the interests of the eggs. However, Philza also has a conniving side to him, shown when he encouraged Chayanne’s dangerous arsonist tendencies and was unafraid to make meta references to Chayanne and Cucurucho being played by the same admin in the past, much to the eggs’ chagrin. Philza is a consistent fourth wall breaker and regularly calls out anything and everything he sees, especially when it comes to Chayanne and Cucurucho. Even during lore, Philza isn't afraid to break the fourth wall, giving him a laid back and humorous energy. Following the eggs' disappearance and his experience with the birdhouse, Philza started struggling to discern what is real or not, often asking anyone nearby if they are able to see things. He has also been increasingly distracted by birds, sometimes catching and bringing them back home. After his first contact with the Ender King, Philza has grown very paranoid and scared for his own life, being well aware of the extent of the Ender King’s powers. He has shared his fears of being "taken away with no way of coming back" with his children, and he has been spending a lot of time in Rose's Sanctuary with them, believing it to be the only safe place on the island, up until one of the messages from Rose was intercepted. Since the server reset, Phil’s personality has been altered. With no protection from Rose, he has become greedy, increasingly so. He started to shamelessly steal from his neighbours, even leaving his children behind in favour of getting more items. All hell broke loose on Day 339. With all the little clarity he had left, Phil, with the help from his kids, tried to burn his backpack where he kept all the loot, believing it would free him from his greedy spiral. However, The Ender King took control of him, and suddenly Phil became very aggressive, demanding they return the backpack, swearing at them and calling Tallulah a "stupid egg" while they were running away.

Physiology

Philza Minecraft is a winged human characterized by light skin, blue eyes, and pale blond hair. He displays a distinct outfit, resembling that of Kisuke Urahara from the anime/manga "Bleach." The attire includes a green jinbei, black undershirt with a red hardcore heart, black haori, red belt, green and white striped bucket hat, and traditional Japanese sandals. Driven by a deep affection for the elytra and fan depictions of him, Philza boasts majestic dark wings. Yet, he asserts that his wings were "clipped" during a fateful awakening on the train, rendering him grounded and unsteady. Though he sports a backpack to counterbalance the absence of his wings, they remain tucked away behind it, a constant reminder of the burdens that weigh him down. Towards the end of his time on Purgatory, his wings healed enough to be functional. However, Philza sacrificed his wings to escape, pushing them beyond their limit by carrying Tubbo along with him. As a result, the wings were damaged and were hidden behind his backpack once again. He would only take them out when he was alone, with his kids, or with Fit. After a bit of time, Philza has grown more comfortable with people seeing his wings. On Day 339, an odd, black and purple substance, the signature colors of The Ender King, appeared on Phil’s back and shoulders. He is unable to get it off for now and it seems to be spreading slowly… In remembrance of the late Technoblade, Philza bears symbolic accessories. A yellow ribbon adorns his chest, symbolizing unwavering support and awareness for sarcoma research. On his left hand, a lavender wristband represents solidarity with Technoblade's battle against cancer. Notably, a "friendship" emerald hangs from the left side of his bucket hat. Another interesting aspect of Philza's character is that he is always surrounded by crows (the crows being his chat).

Missa

Phil and Missa are platonic husbands.[14] [15] They share a relationship based on kindness and mutual respect. Even though they have limited interactions together they both care for each other and both care deeply for their adopted son Chayanne and they are fiercely protective of their family. In a heart-warming gesture, Missa has drawn a picture of Philza (based on his Twitch profile picture) with the text "#1 dad." Phil, for his part, has encouraged Chayanne's grudge against Quackity even more after learning that he threatened Missa and Chayanne. However, it was during Missa's seemingly endless journey to find gifts for Phil and Chayanne that the days without Missa stretched into weeks and then months, making Phil acutely aware of how terrible a feeling loneliness can be. Phil, expressing his longing, often found himself missing Missa briefly yet intensely, triggered by glimpses of Missa, whether it be an artwork featuring Cellbit and Roier being happy together in the Art Museum or something as mundane as finding a skull in a chest. Despite this struggle, Phil harbored no resentment and kept himself occupied during Missa's absence, understanding that time can be cruel to a patient man. The sun and moon eclipsed after a long time during the QSMP Prison event. Phil and Missa saw each other again on the second day of prison. It was a positive family reunion day for Phil, Missa and Chayanne, plus the addition of Tallulah, who accepted Missa as another adoptive dad. When Bagi tried to set up Missa for a date, Phil interrupted and reinforced the platonic marriage between him and Missa, for those who did not know.[16] Later they explain to Bagi how their dynamic came to be and their platonic marriage formed.[17] The two also shared a couple platonic kisses that were done for quests from Quacki. Chayanne

Phil instantly formed a deep attachment to Chayanne, so much so that he quickly became a father figure to him. Phil has been extremely protective of Chayanne, even reinforcing Casa Bonita with high-level security measures. He shows concern and anxiety over Chayanne's safety on multiple occasions. However, Phil also frequently encourages Chayanne's violent tendencies, even telling him to shoot Quackity if he comes "within three blocks of Tallulah." Phil also tells Chayanne about his late friend Techno, whom Chayanne idolises. Phil even helped Chayanne build a potato farm to be more like his hero and wants to build a statue of Chayanne. After day 114, Phil admitted that he needed to trust Chayanne more and give him a bit more freedom to be a little more dangerous, but Phil would still be worried because Chayanne is still on his last life. Adopted son. Very positive. Family.

Tubbo

Phil helped rescue Tubbo, showed him around the island and introduced him to other islanders. Phil both tries to control Tubbo's chaos, but will also enable it. Tubbo has referred to Phil as his guardian in the past. Phil deeply respects how capable Tubbo is, in the sense that he is very intelligent and highly experienced with building machinery, he also trusts Tubbo with his children and leaves them in his care when he has to go, making Tubbo their Godfather. Phil considers Tubbo a part of his "big family" and told Tallulah this on Tubbo's first day. Very positive.

Tallulah

Phil is often responsible for taking care of Tallulah when Wilbur is not available. He helps her with tasks and ensures her safety from any potential dangers on the island. He is one of the only islanders she is sassy with and feels comfortable sharing her emotions with fully, possibly due to him always being attentive to her needs indicating an elevated level of trust between the two. Phil is determined to keep her away from Quackity, who wants to adopt her as a substitute for his own egg.On Day 114, after a day of adventuring, Tallulah gave Phil a book that explained her feelings about Wilbur and how she wanted to feel loved. She felt she was betraying Wilbur because she viewed Phil and BadBoyHalo as her father figures. After Bad's initial adoption proposal, Tallulah was thinking for a while. After Phil finished reading the book, Tallulah asked him if he could consider her as his daughter until her papa came back. Phil told her that, honestly, he had already been doing that and would continue to do so until Wilbur came back. Currently, Phil is Tallulah's guardian while Wilbur is away on tour and considers her as much his child as Chayanne is. Adopted daughter. Very positive. Family.

Niki Nihachu

Niki is the Godmother of Chayanne and Tallulah. Phil showed her around on her first day. He considers Niki a part of his "big family." Very positive.

Technoblade

Technoblade was one of Phil's best friends. Phil has kept Techno's memory alive by telling Chayanne the stories of Techno in the Potato War; when he, VoiceOverPete, and Phil took over the world on SMP Earth; and when he, Phil, Wilbur, and TommyInnit won MCC. Passed away. Best friend. Very positive. o7

FitMC

Fit often visits and occasionally flirts with Phil. They can be seen sharing resources and taking care of each other's eggs, demonstrating a high level of trust between them. This is especially noteworthy considering that Phil has access to Fit's illegal wither skeleton farm. Phil and Fit often share game/server breaking bugs and glitches with each other. Close friend. Very positive.

Etoiles.

Etoiles and Phil have bonded over mutual hatred of the Binary Entity and desire to protect their eggs. Phil trusts Etoiles and often goes to him for queries about the best gear to have and strategizing ways to kill the Binary entity. An example of this trust is how Phil allows Chayanne to do dungeons with him when Etoiles is present as Phil trusts Etoiles and his fighting ability to keep Chayanne safe. Phil and Etoiles also fought alongside each other at the Elections Dinner against two Binary Entities impersonating Tallulah and Chayanne, ending in Etoiles downing the Binary Entity that had impersonated Chayanne and letting Phil deal the last killing blow. Etoiles also trusts Phil enough to show him the contents of his illegal backpack. The goat. Very positive.

Baghera Jones

Phil has always liked Baghera, even having her being one of the first people to see the Tallulah's and Chayanne's messages in the basement, where she offered him some good advice which he appreciated. Baghera and Phil have always been kind to each other, and Phil has always found her very funny. During the Purgatory Event, Baghera and Phil were placed in the same team, Team Bolas, where they've adopted a family dynamic of sorts after tauma bonding with their team. Baghera has called Phil "dad" multiple times, even committing to roleplay the dynamic for a short while, clarifying however it's only a joke that shouldn't be treated seriously (not canon). Later, while rewatching animations from QSMP Movie Night, she saw Phil appear on the screen and shouted "Dad!", yet this was likely also a joke. Trusted friend. Found family. Very positive.

Cellbit

Cellbit and Phil have a mutual respect for each other and often meet up to talk or do egg quests together when another parent is required to fulfill the task. Phil has even trusted Cellbit enough to leave Chayanne and Tallulah in his care while Phil himself was absent from the server. Phil also took photos of Cellbit and Roier's wedding and gave it to Cellbit as a wedding present, which Cellbit greatly appreciated. During the "Happy Pills arc", their collaboration to cure Forever caused them to further increase their trust in each other. To the point that Cellbit trusted Phil to place one of the protective layers around the Risus Potion chest. Since joining Ordo Theoritas, Phil has sought to help Cellbit in investigations by taking photos to show the detective and fully trusting him to share any information. During the Purgatory Event, Cellbit and Phil were placed on the same team, on which they endured much trauma together, and they trauma bonded. They've adopted a family dynamic and they and their team have grown slightly co-dependent. During this event, Phil has grown to trust Cellbit and the rest of his team more than anyone. Foolish

Phil and Foolish have been close since the early days, although they didn't hang out much. Phil has always thought that Foolish was funny, and always laughs whenever he's around. During Purgatory, the two were placed on the same team, Team BOLAS!?!?, and trauma bonded lots together, even growing co-dependant on their team. Foolish has called Phil "dad" a noticeable amount of times (not canon), and Phil trusts Foolish, along with the rest of his team, with his life, as they fought side by side together. Trusted friend. Jaiden

Phil has always found Jaiden to be super funny and nice. On October 13th, Phil found out about Jaiden's new wings, and he was happy and jealous of hers at the same time. They hung out for about an hour that day. Jaiden and Phil bonded in purgatory by being on Team Bolas, Jaiden looked up to him during the days, even calling him as "dad", and they definitely trauma bonded together. Since then, their team has grown co-dependent, and Phil trusts them more than anyone. Trusted friend. Found family. Very positive. Dead.

Charlie Slimecicle

Phil and Slimecicle, although going through some rough patches in the early days, have always been close and have trusted each other. Phil has always been trusted of him, and is always concerned about him. Slimecicle has always trusted Phil, and has confided in Phil in most things. They are always laughing when near each other. In the Purgatory Event, Slimecicle and Phil were placed on the same team. On day 1, they went through lots of trauma bonding and, along with the rest of the team, has started calling Phil "dad", and have started treating him like a father figure, but the creators have clarified that their characters are not related, and it is all jokes. During this event, Phil has grown to trust Slimecicle and the rest of his team more than anyone, and have become slightly co-dependent. Trusted friend. Found family. Very positive.

Pac

Phil is always supportive of Pac's rule breaking endeavours, going "PAC MIKE WOW WOW" in chat when he sees any successful mischief. Pac has taken to calling Phil "Tio", showing how good their friendship is. Very positive.

Roier

Although Roier and Phil don't speak much regularly, Phil has fun with Roier from time to time and joined in with him when Roier was poking fun at BadBoyHalo because the Brazil trip was better than the Las Vegas trip. Because of this, Roier has nicknamed Phil "Filipe". Positive.

BadBoyHalo

Bad and Phil have a trusting and positive relationship. Bad took care of Tallulah when she was abandoned by Quackity, and Bad is one of the few people both Phil and Wilbur trust with Tallulah's safety. Bad was Phil's go-to babysitter, and they both used to think highly of each other. Currently, Phil is far more resentful of Bad, due to his actions during Purgatory, actively attacking his team members over and over. Phil thinks it's convenient that Bad managed to forget what happened during Purgatory, and believes he should repent for what he did. Neutral/Negative. Once friend now cautious.

Luzu

On the first day of the server, Luzu and Phil went mining together. They spent a lot of time with each other and became very good friends. Although Phil hasn't seen Luzu since, Arin logged in (Phil is unaware of what/who Arin is) and sent three messages in chat in binary code to Phil reading "hello?", "a door is opening" and "they won't be able to keep me" before leaving again. These messages caused Phil to become somewhat suspicious of Luzu. Neutral/Negative.

Quackity

Philza distrusted Quackity immensely, a feeling that has only been validated by Quackity's actions. Quackity has threatened both Missa and Chayanne, as well as informing Phil of his wish to kill Chayanne. Although he claimed to be a changed man, Phil believed him to be lying — a suspicion that, to him, had been confirmed by the video of the nightclub. He encourages Chayanne's grudge against Quackity, going as far as to tell Chayanne to shoot Quackity on sight if he gets near Tallulah. However, he does recognize the flirtatious relationship between Quackity and Wilbur, although he seems to alternate between humor and exasperation. After learning from Chayanne that Quackity protected the latter and Tallulah from the binary monster, he has become slightly more trusting towards Quackity, going so far as to consider giving him partial custody of Tallulah on his days off, if Quackity can prove himself. When he found out that he had done just that a few days before Festa Junina, he seemed positively surprised. When Quackity returned from his kidnapping, Phil and Tallulah made him a present of golden apples, avocado toast, and a king's crown to "help him on his journey". They also included a book and a photo of them to let Quackity know who the gift was from and planted some different trees around Quackity's House. He has also shown his desire for him to be alright due to all the things he went through after Tilín's death. Neutral/Positive. Chaotic gremlin.

ElQuackity

Philza had no strong feelings about ElQuackity at first, however, when he heard ElQuackity used Wilbur's name to lure people to a welcome back party which blew up, Phil became suspicious of him. He also read a letter from Pomme to Tallulah, in which he discovered that ElQuackity had managed to kidnap Dapper despite all of Dapper's safety mechanisms, making his distrust of ElQuackity even deeper. El Quackity is not the same as Quackity though they look very very similar. Neutral/Negative.

Maximus

Philza respects Maximus and his efforts to find out the secrets of the island. He was wowed by Maxo's secret underground bunker. Friend. Positive. Dead.

Richarlyson

Phil and Richas get along well, often helping him with his mischief making. Richas is also good friends with Chayanne and Tallulah. Phil, the content creator, has also stated that Richas is his favourite egg after his children. On Day 297, Richarlyson approached Phil with a map leading back to Egg Island and shared with him a plan to find and save Cellbit and Baghera. While Phil is hesitant to return to the place, as it is fraught with traumatic memories, Phil expressed that he trusts Richas a lot, and his plan by extension, and agreed to return with him and Pomme when the time comes.[19] Very positive.

Ramón

Phil often meets up with Ramón's father, Fit, while doing tasks, which means Phil is often around Ramón, especially since Ramón and Chayanne are best friends. Phil finds Ramón very intelligent and thinks highly of his ability to understand and utilise the create mod. He was very appreciative when Ramón built an automated machine to collect potatoes from Phil's farm on top of the wall. Positive.

Pomme

Pomme is very close friends with Tallulah, meaning Phil spends quite a bit of time with her. Phil occasionally completes Pomme's tasks and enjoys taking care of her, he also gives her a lot of advice when it comes to making wise decisions in battle, telling her to play it smart and play it safe. He has compared her mentality to Chayanne's in the sense that she always wants to jump into battle and be courageous when her siblings are in danger. Positive.

Empanada

Phil and Em haven’t had many interactions, but when they have, they have all been positive. Chayanne and Em plan to work at a bakery together. Em and Bagi hung out with Phil and some others at AyPierre’s Mansion. Phil took many pictures of them together and they seemed to have had a great time. Phil believes that eventually Em and Tallulah will be good friends, once Tallulah fully warms up to the new eggs. Positive.

SunnySideUp

Phil does think that Sunny can be a bit spoiled at times, that she is a material girl. Phil has a very shallow view of Sunny since he doesn’t know her very well, keeping up the same opinion he made on the day he met them. Often times Phil will make incorrect assumptions of Sunny’s wants, due to viewing her as spoiled, which leads to her being avoidant of him. Phil seems unaware of Sunny’s issues with him, never bringing it up to Tubbo or Sunny, so he instead just continues with his very neutral view on her. While he may seem fairly cruel to them, he doesn’t intend his comments as harshly as Sunny takes them. Neutral.

WalterBob

Walter Bob was the Federation worker sent to deal with Phil and Fit when they were breaking rules to protest the extremely difficult Egg Quests. Phil laughed at Walter and continued breaking rules until the quests were changed, creating more mess which Walter had to clear up once they had finished their protest. Despite his laughter at the situation, (and Walter's appearance after visiting Ramón's Barbershop), Phil did ask Walter about his pay and expressed his concern that The Federation were not paying their workers fair wages. Neutral.

Cucurocho

Phil used to makes fun of Cucurucho, because they were often played by the same QNPC that Chayanne was. However, Chayanne has a different admin now. Phil recognizes Cucurucho's authority and invincibility, aware that they were the one who brought the eggs back from the Egg Island. This does not stop him from harbouring deep resentment towards them though, especially after the event of day 177.[20] Phil is an anarchist at heart, disliking Cucurucho and The Federation, however he doesn't actively oppose either of them due to his concerns that they could harm Chayanne or Tallulah. On day 147, Cucurucho came to Phil and gave him a task to complete. It wanted Phil to create a photo album of 12 photos minimum of locations or objects of things he considers pretty, fun, interesting, or impressive. In return for this album, Phil would receive a trident and a "Cucurucho Catalog". Phil intended to use this as leverage against Cucurucho, in order to bargain for a day of quests to be marked as completed for Chayanne. However, he didn't end up making this trade, and instead stuck to the original offer, since he really wanted a trident. On day 177, Cucurucho managed to use written books to lure and lock Phil in a house with Chayanne’s and Tallulah’s accessories inside, the rooms full of parrots and hummingbirds, implying that Phil was trapped like a bird in a cage, referencing Phil lavacasting a Federation building while saying the phrase "A cage for a cage". This has caused Phil to lose any trust he had in Cucurucho completely. After an interview from Fred and a guard, Phil found out that they didn't know who Cucurucho was, only knowing about the Census Bureau. This caused Phil to become suspicious of Cucurucho, as he could only think of two possibilities. 1) Cucurucho was so high in rank above the workers that they simply didn't know him or 2) Cucurucho has been lying and was not a part of the Federation at all. Suspicious. Negative.

Luffy

Phil briefly met Luffy during the Purgatory event, but when the creature arrived to Quesadilla Island and found him, Phil was very happy to see it and introduced it to Chayanne. Luffy told him that they were kidnapped and experimented on by The Federation by drawing a picture. Phil felt really sad for it, gave it a golden apple and decided to protect it, because in his eyes, it's just a child. They spent some fun time together, hanging out and planting trees in Phil's orchard, but then he had to fight two groups of workers: the one-eyed ones sent by The Watcher and the federation workers. He and Chayanne were threatened and despite Phil's best efforts, (both attempts in negotiating and attacking them) Luffy was kidnapped again, but he really wants to break Luffy out and keep it safe. After the Eye Soldiers attacks, Phil decided Luffy should be given back to them and return to Egg Island, because he believes they would not hurt it like the Federation did. However, he still wants to keep it safe and make sure the soldiers wouldn't do anything bad to it. He just doesn't want them killing the eggs trying to find Luffy. Protectee. Very positive.

Binary Entity

Phil first encountered the Binary Code Entity while exploring a floating ship. The entity chased him all the way to spawn where he met up with Fit, who killed the entity with bombs. The entity appeared later on and tried to communicate with them. The entity is dead set on harming the eggs, often appearing when multiple eggs hang out together with their parents. Despite everyone’s best efforts, it has succeeded in killing them in the past, and for that Phil holds a deep hatred for it. After a battle where Tallulah loses her first life, because Phil accidentally kills her with his sword while overwhelmed by mobs and the entity’s relentless attacks, he hurls insults at the escaping entity and demands a 1v1 rematch. Phil has killed The Binary Entity once. During the Elections Dinner, two entities impersonated Chayanne and Tallulah, but he revealed their ruse almost immediately, resulting in a fight, which he, with the help of Etoiles, won. Sworn enemy.

The watcher + Purgatory workers

The one orchestrating the Purgatory Event, The Watcher became every islander's enemy. Phil has expressed massive distain towards The Watcher for obvious reasons, and wanted to avoid their demands if he was able to do so. Although The Watcher was in some ways successful in breaking down most islander's morals and mental stability, Phil led Team Bolas with an emphasis on trust, teamwork, and holding onto their morals (and what sanity was left). When Phil met and befriended Luffy back on Quesadilla Island, Purgatory Workers appeared and threatened Phil and Chayanne’s life if he did not give Luffy back to them. Phil refused and after a short battle, they gave him an ultimatum before leaving: either return Luffy in two days time, or expect consequences. Unfortunately, The Federation forcibly removed Luffy from him the moment they teleported to Spawn. When the time was up and the Purgatory Workers showed up, Phil tried to explain the situation, but they did not believe him, saying he was making excuses and immediately attacked Chayanne. However, Phil and nearby residents were successful in holding them off and getting them to retreat. A message was dropped, saying that Phil has interrupted their plans and promised to strike back mercilessly. Unfortunately, The Federation forcibly removed Luffy from him the moment they teleported to Spawn. This exchange started off raids of Purgatory Workers showing up whenever any unsuspecting islanders and eggs were grouped in one area. They knew no mercy, attacking anyone crossing their path. When three of them were unsuccessful in killing BadBoyHalo, they left him a book saying they will continue attacking until specifically Phil meets them. They were becoming more and more powerful with each wave, severely wounding and often downing even the most skilled or equipped islanders and eggs alike. In one long, exhausting battle, they managed to kill Empanada, making her lose her first life. Phil feels extremely guilty, believing that if he somehow managed to stop the Federation from taking Luffy away, Empanada would still have two lives. When able to talk again to the eye workers, Phil explained that his hands were tied, as The Federation was in possession of Luffy and expressed no intentions to cooperate, despite the safety of the Islanders and eggs, and therefore could not fulfill their demands. Phil offered to assist the Eye Workers to rescue Luffy, but they did not take him up on his offer. The Eye Workers gave Phil five days to prove his progress on retrieving Luffy, and immediately tried to kill Phil after he read the book. Phil, along with several residents, were able to defeat them without suffering any severe islander casualties in the battle.

Federation

Phil is an anarchist, he doesn't recognise the Federation as an entity that has power over him. While Phil chooses not to actively engage in plans against The Federation or an anti Federation organisation due to his fears that they could harm Chayanne or Tallulah, Phil is not opposed to breaking rules in order to get what he wants from the Federation. The most notable example of this behaviour being on day 103 when Phil and Fit broke the rule against griefing Federation buildings in order to get the Egg Quests changed. Negative.

Rose

Rose is a deity from Phil's Hardcore World. Rose reached out to Phil after the Ender King began to cause him to hallucinate and drive him crazy. She covered Phil's base within the wall with vines and flowers that Phil said were warm to the touch and comforting. She led him back to where the cage had been, now rebuilt into Rose's Sanctuary, introduced herself as Rose and told him that she would help him remember his past, staying by his side. Very positive.

The Ender King

The Ender King is an entity from Phil's Hardcore world that has been tormenting him with hallucinations that can last for weeks at a time. This has made Phil extremely paranoid making him think he is losing his mind and he can't trust what is real. It is not certain if Phil remembers the entire history of the Ender King's downfall, but he knows that he is a bad, greedy entity. When Phil finally realised it was the Ender King causing the hallucinations, he became very scared of his powers, fearing that he could take him away and he would have no way of coming back. Very negative.

Chayanne's reinforced home: Casa Bonita is not impenetrable.[22] After the eggs were kidnapped for the 2nd time and returned cracked, Phil reinforced the basement with two layers of reinforced blocks, two rows of locked doors, and an locked iron trapdoor. When Chayanne and Tallulah died during the "Nightmare," Phil equates their deaths to losing his 5-year hardcore world all over again. An early gag when the Brazilians first arrived was confusion with a Brazilian streamer. Brunim, who has a similar skin to Phil's. This is because both of their skins are based off Kisuke Urahara from Bleach. Phil's canonical chat is crows. Even though Phil has wings, he woke up on the train to find they have been clipped, presumably in order to prevent him from flying. During Purgatory, he briefly regained the ability to fly due to the Federation's prevention with interfering with Egg Island. He was able to fly him and Tubbo to the rescue ship, however, sustained damaged to his wings due to the meteor storm. As of right now, his wings are damaged from that event, once again grounding him. Due to Phil's retellings of his adventures with Technoblade, it is believed that the events that transpired on SMPEarth are canonical to Phil's background. This is further evidenced by other members also having memories of prior events to the server. However, the events just before arriving to the island are still fuzzy. Phil's favorite song is Portrait of a Blank Slate by Lovejoy. Phil has canonically played Zelda while waiting for the eggs to wake up.
