Appearance

Alastor has a thin build, pale gray skin, sharp yellow teeth, black gums, and short scarlet hair/fur with black tips, and deer ears can be seen on the sides of his head. There is a small cross on his forehead, but it is constantly covered by his bangs. He has small deer horns on his head, growing larger in his demonic form. He has dark red whites of his eyes, scarlet irises, black pupils (which in demonic form can take the form of an old-fashioned radio dial), and purple eyelids. On his right eye, Alastor wears an oval monocle with dark red glass and a black frame. Alastor wears a red shirt with a high collar and a black cross on the chest, and on top of it, a single-breasted ruby-colored frock coat with a thin scarlet stripe, torn at the hem, also burgundy pants with a scarlet border, a black bow tie with a scarlet isthmus, black gloves with bright scarlet markings on the tips and knuckles, and black shoes with a deer print cut out on the feet. He is 213 cm tall. In addition, Alastor constantly carries a vintage-style microphone with him, which has a mind of its own and is part of his demonic appearance. Character

The image of Alastor in the animated series was presented as a charismatic and vintage radio announcer with a wide smile on his face. He is extremely polite and charming, easily makes concessions to achieve his own goals and, thanks to his charm and amazing diction, skillfully wins the trust of other demons. He makes the first impression of a good-natured and cheerful person. Alastor is a sadist: he spoke with amusement about the Great Depression in America and the emergence of a large number of orphans, whose suffering he clearly enjoyed. He will not hesitate to use physical force when others do not act in accordance with his particular values ​​or expectations. But despite his love for the suffering and constant failures of children and adults, for unknown reasons he is not capable of seriously injuring or killing a child. Also in the comic, Alastor was shown to have a positive side, as he protected a weak sheep-like demon from an attack by a butcher who wanted to use the demon for meat. Judging by Veggie's story, he is very cruel and purposeful, since almost immediately after his appearance in hell, he overthrew almost all the rulers who had been sitting for many centuries, becoming one of the most powerful demons in hell. In general, Alastor is described as an ambivalent person. He places a very high value on good manners, affability and intelligence in others and will look down on those who do not meet his standards. However, he changes these rules and adapts them to himself. Unhappy people seem weak to him. Alastor has a strange sense of morality, which is described as "abnormal" and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those who have earned his wrath. In the pilot episode, she takes the form of glowing red symbols reminiscent of Voodoo veves (Loa symbols) that levitate around him. Alastor is also shown using blood magic by clenching his fist until drops of blood fall from it to defeat Sir Pentious. • Umbrakinesis or Darkness Manipulation: Alastor can summon and manipulate shadows into doing his bidding. • Dimensional Warping: Alastor can move using his shadow.
