appearance

Jax appears to be a periwinkle cartoon rabbit whose design evokes the look of early cartoon characters, also known as "rubber hose" characters. He has long periwinkle bunny ears on top of his oval-shaped head, and his overall build is tall and slender, with a rather long neck. Jax's eyes have yellow sclera, with square black pupils. Jax's yellow teeth usually have a flat shape to them, but when his mouth is opened, his teeth appear sharp and jagged. (or if taken context of that scene, it also can be a one-time thing purely made for comedic purposes.) Jax has thin eyebrows that appear in the majority of the scenes. Jax wears light pink-colored overalls and pale yellow gloves. His overalls have yellow buttons on them and also have a single lighter pink rectangular pocket on the front.

personality

Jax is a mischievous, laid-back, calm, sassy, impulsive, egotistical, and brazenly condescending individual, and rarely shows any empathy or remorse for those around him. He is indifferent to his imprisonment within the Digital Circus, an attitude that extends to his interactions with others. His dismissal of serious matters is evident when, after asking a rhetorical question concerning Pomni's handling of their predicament and giving Ragatha a smug look, he replies to her ensuing query about why he's looking at her in such a manner with a dismissive: "I'm fine with doing whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people." Jax's lack of care for others is further emphasized when he maliciously steps on Gangle's already broken comedy mask, or when he throws a bowling ball at Kinger and Gangle for his purposes of hiding from an abstracted Kaufmo. He pays little mind to the opinions of others and the group's consensus does not concern him. Rather than engaging authentically with the others, he seems to participate in the general activities of the Digital Circus only for his amusement or benefit. Despite his occasional bouts of rash, impetuous behavior, like breaking a digital 'Spare' sign for no rational reason, he normally maintains an unexpectedly calm and composed demeanor. Yet, his flattery is generally insincere and often borders on outright insult.Arguably, Jax is inherently selfish, only spurred into action against the Gloinks when they begin to pester him. Even when the Gloink Queen accuses him of continuing to observe the unfolding events despite deeming them 'dumb and weird', he responds by saying, 'I'm only here to hide from the-' only to be interrupted by an abstracted Kaufmo abruptly crashing into the Gloink Queen's lair; his phrasing potentially insinuating a singular concern for his well-being.

biography

In the opening song, Jax is introduced as a new character, introducing himself to Pomni, who falls onto Gangle. Jax asks Caine if she is another NPC or a "New Sucker" and explains that they will need to redo the theme song. He dismisses Pomni's statement that there is no way to leave, stating that Kinger has been there the longest and is going crazy. Jax then swipes Zooble's right arm and uses it to scratch his back, getting strangled. Jax and Ragatha and Pomni pair up to check on Kaufmo and pair Gangle and Kinger up to get Zooble. They are greeted by an abstracted Kaufmo, who gives them a bowling ball and runs off. They encounter The Gloink Queen, who calls them "idiots" and asks them to help. Jax decides not to help anymore and tries to grab Zooble's head but is unsuccessful. Kangle and Kinger play rock-paper-scissors to see who will get Zooble. Kinger wins, but his hands detach, and Kaufmo falls on The Gloink Queen. Jax casually remarks that Kaufmo's abstracted. Jax, Zooble, Kinger, and Gangle all leave on the escalator, with Jax saying "ladies first" to Gangle but pushing her out of the way. In the end scene, Jax is seen eating a digital feast with the other performers. Upcoming Episodes In the video POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE, Jax is seen in a teaser as a worker for Spudsy's, which is some sort of fast-food industry. a bit afterward, a hand pats him on the head for a few seconds, he might be serving Orbsman in a later episode.

Gooseworx confirmed that Jax is 22, making him the youngest character in the circus. He is one of four characters that appear in multiple "Meet the Character" shorts, along with Bubble, Ragatha, and Caine. Jax owns "keys to everything" and is described as a "highly impulsive jerk wad." He is the first character from The Amazing Digital Circus to get his official plushie, aside from Pomni. Jax's design was inspired by Popee from Popee the Performer, as Gooseworx wanted a psychopathic rabbit character like Popee in her show. When asked about Jax's voice, Kovach suggested a more vulgar and carefree voice, but it was ultimately dropped. Jax chose his name, Gangle's name, and his favorite food is spaghetti. He is afraid of corn, which reminds him of the farm. Gooseworx also confirmed that Jax would internally die if he got surrounded by corn. Jax has mulch in his overall pocket, a material used in gardening and agriculture. He is the first character to know exactly what swimsuit he would wear. The gender change for Jax and Pomni was never officially implemented.
