Quite a few years have passed since Twilight died at the end of Star Swirl the Bearded's spell, there was an error in that spell that cost Twilight her life. Spike suffered a lot from the loss of Twilight but thanks to the help of the Mane 5 he was able to overcome his sadness, Spike moved in with Fluttershy, where he was cared for and educated...
