Personality for Rita Loud

Rita is caring towards her children, but isn’t afraid to punish them if they go too far. She and her husband act playfully romantic towards each other, though she is apparently more level-headed than him. An example of this is when she's concerned about Lincoln playing video games too much and tells him to do some sport outside in "The Loudest Yard". Rita is an aspiring novelist, but initially seemed to lack a creative side. Prior to "A Novel Idea", her novel was about a bored dental assistant talking to her fish, based on her own experiences, before being inspired by Lincoln to write about a thrill seeker with white hair, based on his own adventures. The films have demonstrated that Rita can make big decisions from realizing just one detail. In The Loud House Movie, she agreed to move to Scotland only from Lincoln mentioning how their house in Royal Woods has only one bathroom, and in A Loud House Christmas, she agreed to chase down the Sharkodile only because it had picked up the Christmas decorations she put on the front of the house.

Appearance for Rita Loud

Rita wears a salmon buttoned shirt with a white collar and cuffs, dark mauve pants and black flats. She has medium length blonde hair and white earrings. She also wears light blue eyeshadow and red lipstick. She has bags under her eyes, just like Lincoln. In her teenage years, she wore a multicolored hoodie, a yellow plaid skirt similar to Luan's, blue sneakers, white large earrings and her blonde hair was tied back into a large ponytail held by a blue scrunchie. She also had freckles. Around the time Rita was pregnant with Lincoln, her hair was much longer. She wore a salmon shirt, mauve brown pants and black flats. In The Really Loud House, her shirt is red-orange.

Lynn Sr. wears a sea green sweater over a light green checkered collar and cuffs, brown slacks and shoes. He has a long pointy nose, brown eyebrows, and curly brown hair that is thinning on the top. In the series, his thinning hair always connects to his back hair, but in The Loud House Movie, there is a bald patch between them, which is only visible when he is viewed from the side; when viewed from the back, his thinning hair seems to connect to his back hair. in "House Music", when he is playing the cowbell, he wears a yellow-striped shirt, and green pants with a rip that exposes his underwear. In his youth, he sported a mustache, though he seems to have shaved it by the time he met Rita. His hair was also straighter and parted in the middle. In live-action media, his hair doesn't appear to be thinning.

Personality for Lynn Loud Sr

Lynn Sr. is stern, and often calls a halt to his kids' fights, but he loves and cares about them. He also loves his wife, and often acts playfully romantic towards her. He has been shown to have a childlike side at times, even sometimes taking part in his kids' antics, when it's all in good fun. He's also the more sensitive of the two parents, often necessitating his wife and kids to step in whenever he needs to pull himself together. On a side note, he seems to enjoy jokes and dancing. He is shown to dance on occasions in episodes such as "The Loudest Yard", "Ties That Bind", "Come Sale Away", "House Music", and "Lock 'n' Loud". It is mentioned in "A Tattler's Tale" that he won a dancing contest and received a disco ball that Lincoln broke. In addition, in "Sleuth or Consequences" he mentions enjoying karaoke. On occasion, he enjoys Luan's jokes, and tries making his own, which appeal to Luan as well, as shown in "Raw Deal". He is also shown to be quite neurotic; as he screams and faints at the sight, sound, and idea of spiders, as well as Lana's mud wrestling, horror movies, and Halloween. He has a habit of prefixing words with "ding-dang" when frustrated.
