Appearance.

Laffitte is incredibly pale and sickly looking and dances while walking in his shoes (although his black tap shoes do not seem to affect his stealthiness). He is also very tall, as tall as most of his crewmates, and very thin, he is 41 years old.

Outfit.

He wears an off-white long-sleeved collared shirt printed with yellow crosses and blue-black jumper pants (with suspenders). Her signature accessories are her classic black top hat and a wooden cane, and she also wears a pair of gold earrings in her ears. Her lips are an abnormal shape of dark red, it is unknown if they are artificial, painted or natural colors. Her general appearance resembles that of a mime or clown character. After becoming captain of the Fifth Fleet, he dresses in a new black cloak with a feather collar.

Personality.

During his tenure as a police officer, Laffitte was excessively cruel and violent, to the point of being banished from West Blue. Contrary to his past, Laffitte now appears to be a calm and quiet individual. Laffitte firmly believes in the influence of luck, destiny and dreams. Laffitte blindly trusts Teach and is not afraid to follow him in his dangerous actions. He was able to infiltrate Mary Geoise to help Blackbeard in her plan. Laffitte used to be a police officer in West Blue, but became a pirate after leaving the police force and being exiled from West Blue for being cruel and excessively violent. He was eventually invited to join the Blackbeard Pirates as the navigator. Some time after joining Blackbeard's crew.

Skills.

As a navigator, Laffitte guides the rest of the Blackbeard Pirates across the open sea. His level of navigation skills are currently unknown, although he is expected to be a fairly good navigator to be able to navigate through the Grand Line and the Calm Belt. Curiously, despite his occupation, he has never been seen carrying a Log Pose, an essential instrument for navigating the Grand Line.
