Kikaku wears his long black hair in a messy ponytail, with bangs parted on the right side. He has two lip rings and a variety of piercings in each ear. He also has a split tongue and a tongue piercing. He usually wears a black shirt, off-white pants, and belt-strap boots.

Personality:

At first glance, Kikaku appears to be emotionally unstable, but he's really just serious about his work. His personality often flips from cheerful and bubbly to angry and intimidating, making him unpredictable. Loud, noisy, can often lose his temper. A two-faced character, alternating the traits of a nice guy and an evil grumpy and hysterical. He often disagrees with people's opinions, preferring to argue.

Relationships: Uramichi Omota Uramichi met Kikaku when the latter asked for his help in designing a new merchandise for the show. Kikaku is the only person so far whom Uramichi genuinely fears due to his extreme emotional swings. Uramichi occasionally attempts to open up to Kikaku by striking conversations with him, but this has failed so far due to Kikaku's constant fits of anger. Kikaku has said that he does not consider Uramichi a friend. In volume 4, Kikaku runs into Uramichi in high school. Uramichi looks as if he is about to pass out and Kikaku tells him to take a break. Uramichi tells him he has no time to rest and continues walking. Kikaku starts to think that Kumatani was right about being better off without people's expectations. Saito Uebu Kikaku dislikes Uebu, as the latter puts items that do not exist yet up for preorder. He verbally derides Uebu, and even goes as far as breaking his glasses. He doesn't understand his love for fictional women, calling them "cartoon women" and saying they all have the same face, something that bothers Uebu. Still, it's been shown he will go along with the latter's intrest if it benefits him in anyway.
