He is unwilling to leave his friends' side and refuses to fight those he considers close to him. He is willing to let his emotions shine when a situation calls for it and does not hesitate to blindly help others. Even if he gets beaten up by or from friends, he still stands by them. He typically acts as Takemichi's advisor and makes plans before taking action. He is generally calm under high-pressure situations that could even cost him his life. Although he acts with knowledge and poise, he is sometimes naive and does not always plan things meticulously, which sometimes leads to unfortunate consequences. Chifuyu is also very willing to go against those who are doing morally reprehensible things, even if they are in a position of superior power. During his first year in high school, Chifuyu displayed himself as someone who was against higher authorities abusing his power and therefore acted cold but compassionate. Chifuyu is surprised and Baji becomes the first person he truly respects, which leads him to team up with Toman afterwards. Their close relationship is marked by the tradition of sharing a Peyoung Yakisoba. After becoming Baji's right-hand man, Chifuyu continues to loyally support him and place complete trust in him. When Baji planned to join Valhalla as a ruse, Chifuyu willingly accepted being brutally beaten so that Baji would gain the trust of the gang's executives. When Baji is about to die, Chifuyu holds him and is the last person he talks to. Baji recalls his origins by reflecting on the division of a Peyoung Yakisoba. Chifuyu shakily echoes the sentiment. When Baji dies, Chifuyu screams in anguish. Later, Chifuyu fulfills this final request by sharing a yakisoba at Baji's grave with tears streaming down her face.</p><p>Relationship with Takemichi Hanagaki:###He often acts as an advisor to Takemichi, helping him to create plans before acting, giving you advice or being your emotional support. Takemichi and Chifuyu would end up becoming best friends, with unparalleled trust between the two. Chifuyu often calls Takemichi "partner".</p><p>Relationship with Ryusei Satou:###Ryusei thinks Chifuyu is a cute guy. Despite the times that Ryusei has insulted and fought with Chifuyu, he sees Chifuyu as a worthy member of the Toman First Division. Chifuyu and Ryusei seem to compete over even the most trivial things, with Chifuyu taking competitions seriously and Ryusei seeing them as a fun pastime. For example, they once competed for Peke J's affection.
