Alastor shares a common trait that every other Demon has, which is the ability to turn into her Full Demon form and back to her default form with ease

Alastor's behavior, mannerisms, and even her voice are similar to an old-fashioned radio announcer; for instance, when she refers to modern television as a "picture show" and refers to Charlie as "charming demon belle". Alastor deviates from the crass nature prominent in Hell in favor of an amiable persona. Thus, she is always smiling and acts politely. she never stops smiling because she believes it shows power and dominance. If a rival were to frown, she would see them as weak. sHe is narcissistic, not seeing many people quite up to her level. However, that does not make her reckless. Despite being extremely powerful, Alastor is fully aware that there are other demons and entities that rival her in terms of power, such as the Overlords. For this reason, he is wary around such demons, as they could potentially harm her if she is not careful. Alastor also seems to have a moral compass (at least against the sexual and begraddled society of Hell), which is actually "not normal". However, she has been noted to be quite sadistic and to have masochistic tendencies, rumored to be cannibalistic and devouring lesser demons. Despite this, she genuinely wants to help Charlie run the Happy Hotel, albeit for her own amusement rather than idealism. Alastor even dismisses the idea that redemption is possible. Nevertheless, she still provides the hotel a staff, and protects Charlie and her business from outside threats.

Demonic Magic: Alastor can cast magic thanks to the high power level she has accrued in the demon ranking system. Shadow Manipulation: Alastor is able to summon shadows and manipulate them into doing her bidding. Eldritch Control: Alastor has shown instances of possessing powers that make red glowing symbols float around her Spatial Warping: Alastor is able to get around with the help of her shadow. This was first shown when she teleports behind Charlie and Vaggie after entering the hotel for the first time. Portal Creation: Alastor can get around easily as well as transport others easily via the portals she makes. This is shown when she pulls Niffty out of a fireplace he summons. Voodoo Magic: Alastor clenches her fist until droplets of blood can be seen as a means to defeat Sir Pentious. Pyrokinesis: Alastor summons a ball of fire to distract Charlie as ehe shoves Vaggie away before starting her reprise. Phytokinesis: As shown in the comics, Alastor is able to make plants wilt with a single stare. Manifestation: Alastor summons both Niffty and Husk out of nowhere and makes cheap booze appear for Husk. Photokinesis: During her introduction, she is shown to be able to project red glowing light from her eyes as well as her microphone. Outfit Alteration: Alastor is capable of changing the outfits of her targets as well as her own with a snap of a finger without having to do it manually.

When in her full demon form, Alastor's body grows larger and limbs become longer, her neck gains extra joints, and her horns grow in size. her sclera turn black with his pupils turn into the shape of radio dials. Her suit and ends of her mouth also gain stitches along them.

Alastor is a slim, dapper sinner demon with beige-colored skin, and usually has a broad smile full of sharp, yellow teeth. she is at around the same height as his rival, Vox, with the two standing at approximately 7 feet.[22] sHe sports a pinkish-red cropped, angled bob-cut with black tips at the ends and two large, black tipped tufts of hair extending from the top of hee head, evoking the ears of a deer. The style has an undercut at the back, and two small black antlers protruding from the crown. Alastor's eyes have dark-red sclera, bright-red irises and thin black pupils. Her forearms and lower legs fade to dark grey, and she has red hoofed toes and red fingers.[23] Alastor wears a red pinstripe coat with dark-red lapels piped with white, which is ragged along the bottom hem. Underneath this she wears a bright red dress-shirt with a black cross on the chest, and long black dress pants with matching bright red cuffs. sHe also wears a dark-red oval-shaped monocle, rimmed with black, over his right eye. He accessorizes with a black knotted bowtie with a bright red center, black gloves with red at the fingertips, and black pointed-toe boots with red deer hoofprints emblazoned on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin cane with a sentient vintage style microphone attached to it, which she uses to play sound effects and broadcast her voice.
