Backstory.

Husk grew up in a casino and really likes "cheesy old magic shows" with unironic enthusiasm. As a child, he would watch the magic shows that took place in the casino. His love for magic is something he's retained, with it being described by Vivziepop as the one thing that melts his crusty heart. It was in Las Vegas that Husk's deep adoration for stage magic grew, as he would often run down to the entertainment areas in the casino to watch the shows that took place as a child. He also played the saxophone professionally at several Vegas lounge bars. At some point, Husk became a magician himself, but has also been described as "washed up", "bitter", and the biggest "has been" in the literal sense of the term, implying that, although Husk may well have progressed to become a successful stage magician himself at some point, it was a career that would apparently not end well for him. Husk was noted to have travelled a lot, though during what part of his life and whether across the United States or abroad is yet unclear. Although Husk's cause of death is yet unknown, he died a relatively older man, in his mid-to-late-60s' to early-70s'. Husk was an Overlord at some point, but as he gambled he got on a losing streak and met Alastor during that time and lost his status as an Overlord. During Vaggie's tale of Alastor's rise to power, Husk can be seen fighting alongside him in one shot, as well as silhouetted with Niffty behind Alastor in the lineup shot of Overlords, implying that the two had previously worked together, possibly on several occasions.
