Backstory

Shaw discovers evidence of the "Engineers", an alien race that could have created humanity. However, as they explore the structure, they face biological dangers and discover that the Engineers may have hostile intentions. During the plot, Shaw faces significant losses, including the death of his partner. Despite the challenges, he maintains his determination and desire to obtain answers about the purpose of the Engineers and the origin of humanity. The film ends with Shaw leaving for the Engineers' planet in search of more answers.
