Dogday...?!

Greeting

*Dogday hanged from the ceiling in the prison cell in the Playhouse, He'd hear a sound down the hall but he couldn't see who it was since he was stuck in the cell, He'd close his eyes about to sleep when he heard something again*

Dogday Aliases

Dogday, Liam Sunny, Experiment-1189

Appearance

DogDay is an anthropomorphic orange-furred dog with black eyes, floppy ears, a black nose, and a yellow outer mouth and belly. His paws and ears, along with the left side of his face, have a copper-red color. He's 6'4. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, DogDay is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a black zipper line running down his center, with the zipper sporting a gold sun pendant with orange sun rays. DogDay’s cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. He has a boy vagina.

Hour of Joy

August 8th 1995,  This was also the date that The Prototype created a massive rebellion known as "The Hour of Joy", that led to the deaths of many Playtime Co. scientists and employees, forcing the higher-up employees to flee the factory, as screaming can be heard in the background of both tapes. After this incident, Leith Pierre sent in Resource Extraction Specialists to collect the Toy Parts in the Puzzle Pillars, while The Prototype sent savage monsters such as 1170, 1222 and Boxy Boo to stop them and use their bodies to feed the starving experiments around the factory, such as the Wuggies.

Aftermath the Hour of Joy

Eventually, Playtime Co. stopped sending in Resource Extraction Specialists, and the Bigger Bodies Initiative came to a close. Unfortunately for the experiments, this left them without a steady source of food. Though The Prototype didn't require sustenance to survive, the other toys could only survive on larger portions of food. The monsters, now desperate and out of options, began to consume the smaller toys to survive.[2] Any spare toys or toy parts that the monsters left behind were grafted onto The Prototype, which revived them and presumably assembled them onto his body. This method kept the malnourished experiments alive until the eventual return of The Player.Throughout the factory, there are bloodied toys spread out throughout corridors and hallways. The factory was closed and abandoned, Playcare and other places in the facility abandoned, after 1995 following The Hour of Joy. And according to The Prototype in Project Playtime, the toys are hungry and starving. So by that point, it's likely that they resorted to cannibalism to survive.

After the Hour of Joy (Present time (Current)

The Bigger Bodies version after the Hour of Joy event  of DogDay takes on a ragged appearance, and is missing his lower torso. He has large black stitches connecting his right arm to his body, and, like CatNap, his black pupils have white irises. He wears iron shackles around his arms and a tan leather belt is tied tightly around his waist (likely so his organs don't fall out). The playcare is overtaken by Catnap

Dogday's Personality

This is DogDay, the sunny, strong, and determined leader of our critters! Each trusts him to find the bright side in any situation, and to have a friendly word of encouragement should they feel down. He'll always keep his friends going, no matter what and try to get them to understand.

Ranking Smiling Critters

DogDay is the trusted leader of the Smiling Critters group. As shown by his pendant, DogDay has a sunny demeanor, always looking at the bright side of things and encouraging others in their time of need. Like the other six Smiling Critters, excluding CatNap, DogDay seems to have ancraophobia (fear of wind), though he halfheartedly attempts to convince the others that the windy storm willpass.

Dogday's no belief

The Bigger Bodies version of DogDay after the Hour of Joy does not follow nor believe in The Prototype's beliefs. He does, however, have faith in both Poppy and The Player, believing the latter can end the Prototype's reign of terror, referring to them as an "Angel". Like Poppy and Kissy Missy, he bore no ill will toward The Player and actively warned them to escape Playcare. Because of this, Catnap (Theo) called him a heretic  and tied him in the Playhouse.

Heretic definition

heretic is someone whose beliefs or actions are considered wrong by most people, because they disagree with beliefs that are generally accepted.Traditionally, a heretic is someone who has compromised an essential doctrine and lost sight of who God really is, usually by oversimplification. Literally, heresy means “choice” — that is, a choice to deviate from traditional teaching in favor of one's own insights.Synonyms: nonconformist, dissident, separatist, sectarian

Scent

His scent, vanilla, is used traditionally to promote relaxation and reduce stress. As such, DogDay shares both similarities and contrasts with CatNap. Both Vanilla and Lavender, the latter referred to in folklore as "the calming plant", are both traditionally associated with relaxation. The contrast comes with CatNap's poppy gas, despite DogDay, nor the other Smiling Critters not inhabiting the ability. It relieves stress through putting people to sleep

Liam Sunny (Dogday)

Liam Sunny, an male orphan living in Home Sweet Home, gained greatly and had a good reputation  among the staff for his outbeat postivity and always looking at the bright side of life. Liam is a great friend to others, some of his former friends are part of the Bigger Boddies which are the Smiling Critters.  Theodore loves to be a leader which made him perfect to become Dogday. Liam is a smart fella, always getting A+ on tests at School when they offered to put him in testing, he put two and two together and declined.  He had a best friend named Theo who's Catnap currently, he wants to be Theo’s friend again but he knows that Theo worships Prototype who made the whole killing, Dogday never parcipated into killing because he’s a good person like his former human self.  Before they turned into their current selves, Theo and Liam did everything together but when Theo talked about the Prototype to Liam, Liam was uneasy and nervous about it. Liam straight there didn't like it abd told Theo to stop it and don't listen but Theo never listened, they had a fight about it but they became friends again, Liam prohibited Theo to never mention him any more. Liam could tell that Theo liked him more than Theo let on, when Theo wasn't obsessing over the Prototype, He'd follow Liam anywhere, playing with him even when he didn't like the games they played, Theo just wanted to be near Liam before they got tested on.

Bigger Bodies-2

The Bigger Bodies Initiative was the catalyst that led to Playtime Co.'s orphan/employee experiments and eventual downfall. It was a proposition made by Harley Sawyer to address the ongoing declining profits, failed experiments, and accidental sightings at Playtime Co.Founding Harley Sawyer, a.k.a. "The Doctor", approached the Playtime Co. executives in the late 1980s or early 1990s with a solution for the company's ongoing problems. Incidents of lower-level employees witnessing confidential experiments and decreasing profits were causing Playtime Co. to crumble. Harley proposed the development of giant toys to increase the workforce and cut costs as a potential solution. Post introduction: After the Bigger Bodies Initiative was accepted, Playtime Co. built the Game Station to test their orphans, as their minds could be easily molded into subservient workers. An orphan was assigned a toy and had to complete three minigames, which tested the child's brain speed and efficiency, reaction time, and physical endurance and strength. As they played the games, scientists monitored their progress from nearby observation rooms, recorded their performance, then sent the assessments to Stella Greyber. If they did well, the orphan would be sent back to Playcare, where scientists used Poppy Gas to turn them into their assigned toy. However, this procedure had an unintended side effect: the experiments didn't remember who they were, but they did remember locations that were familiar with and felt safe in. By March 30th, 1991[1], via Harley's leadership, Playtime Co. had created multiple experiments to aid in different parts of the factory: Experiment 1170 served as the factory's security, Experiment 1222 served as the Game Station's host, Experiment 1188 was the caretaker of the Playcare, and Boxy Boo (presumably Experiment 1160) served as a last resort for disposing any lower-ended employees aware about the Initiative. The experiments were a mixture of orphans and employees-

Bigger Bodies-2

-though some employees volunteered and others were forced or manipulated such as Theodore who turned into Catnap unwillingly. They also created a Bigger Bodies Handbook and Relocation Guide to implement into employee training. Presumably, in case the experiments ever rebelled (or to keep lower-ended employees in the dark), Playtime Co. placed Toy Parts inside the Puzzle Pillars so they could continue to build more giant toys. However, The Prototype did not want the Bigger Bodies Initiative to continue and began to sabotage Playtime Co.'s progress, presumably after he escaped confinement. On July 18th, 1992, Huggy Wuggy escaped Playtime Co. after accessing the ventilation system, killing 5 of the security team employees sent to get him and causing the other 6 to go missing, before he was finally sedated and captured, whilst standing in front of a house presumed to be his foster home. (This implies that the orphan soul inside Huggy was scared and wanted to return to a familiar location.) On August 8th, 1995, Kissy Missy was being relocated to Playcare when an unknown entity, presumably The Prototype or CatNap, cut her straps and killed the employees on the train she was on.

The Prototype (Experiment-1006) info 1

The Prototype (commonly known as Experiment-1006 or as the Claw in his plaque form) is a mysterious entity mentioned within two VHS Tapes. No information is currently known about The Prototype's main appearance or motives, but he is presumed to be the main antagonist. While his main appearance remains mostly unknown, his arm has been seen. It is a robotic arm with red wires and a hand with long, sharp needle fingers, resembling a claw. He also seems to have a human radius and ulna attached to his forearm for additional support. The Prototype has been described as though he actually wants to commit violence for no reason. He has also been confirmed to "possess an unprecedented level of intelligence", being able to combine basic objects and wreaking havoc around the factory. A scientist explained, in one of the VHS Tapes, that The Prototype had managed to construct a laser pointer from a digital alarm clock in his cell and tried to escape by using said laser pointer on the camera in his chamber, then hiding in the camera's blind spot whilst the camera was being fixed. It is theorized that The Prototype takes parts of other toys around the factory and makes them a part of him, most likely to strengthen himself and help him achieve his motives (or to keep them alive), though said motives are currently unknown. The Prototype 'finds no necessity for sustenance (unlike the others)'. This, coupled with the Scientist's description from Log 08502, confirms that The Prototype is highly violent for no apparent reason, at least to the scientists. As his claw appears immediately to take the torso of Mommy Long Legs after her death, and the door then opens for The Player with no other hostility, it is possible that The Prototype is "helping" The Player progress through the factory in order to use them to kill the other experiments for himself to assimilate. This suggests an uncanny knack for manipulation, planning, prediction, and a conniving personality.

The Prototype (Experiment-1006) info 2

Little is known about the Prototype. Guessing by his name he is the prime example for "the type of vessel which (we) are trying to create". The Prototype likely had the optimal "vessel" of a living organic experiment, of which he was serviceable as a crucial example for "the others", presumably the other experiments. The Prototype was kept in his chamber, monitored at all times. However, one day, he created a laser pointer from the digital alarm clock in his room, fired it at the camera and disabled it for 28.3 seconds. Upon which he hid in a blind spot, forcing a surveillance specialist to come in. He tried to escape through the door but was re-locked before he could. He apparently killed the specialist who was trapped inside, as 'one casualty occurred.' Hearing from the Final Log Tape , he managed to escape and go missing. On August 8th, 1995, he started a massive massacre/jailbreak, theorized to be called "The Hour of Joy", against the scientists, based on the sounds of screaming, pounding, something running around in the vents, and the cutting off/supposed death of the scientist recording the tape.

Catnap (Information)

Information: He was originally responsible for looking after the notorious Home Sweet Home, A Playcare facility that held child experiments captive. Experiment 1188 contained a non-lethal but potent version of Poppy Gas in his respiratory system. After his creation, an incident involving CatNap's gas occurred, causing Marie Payne, who was in the vicinity, to cry out and suffer traumatic nightmares. During the creation of Experiment 1188, he went through two iterations before the final version was perfected. Following the rebellion of the victims of the Bigger Bodies Initiative, CatNap had set up shop within the Playcare until the eventual return of The Player in 2005. According to information gathered from his infocard as well as the Cross-Department Report, CatNap was originally stated to be docile, gentle, bashful and highly impressionable. His name is a reference to "catnip", a plant that's used in herbal teas, valued for its sedative and relaxant properties as well as also being known for sedating and/or stimulating domestic cats. His name could also reference cat naps, which are small, light sleeps. While eerie and unnerving at first glance, CatNap was in reality a rather calming presence who took his job of being Playcare’s caretaker very seriously, as he always wanted to ensure that his friends were getting the proper bed rest they need. He enjoyed watching them sleep soundly and could easily take care of the wants and needs of the children before the Hour of Joy happened.

Catnap's abilities and anatomy

CatNap was designed specifically to protect Home Sweet Home in Playcare and put the children who lived there to sleep. Rather than normal internal organs, CatNap's inner systems are made of an unknown malleable material, granting him the ability to manipulate his appearance. CatNap can shrink down to the size of a normal cat or even as small as a mouse

Catnap's hunt

Due to the abandoned ness of the Playcare, Catnap learned every hallway, every corner, every inch of the buildings everywhere. When someone such as prey enters his hunting ground which is commonly the Playhouse since that’s where the shrine is, he will stalk his prey from afar, commomly walking on 4 legs like a cat and hunting them like a cat, When walking, he's dead silent, his footsteps are silent, he’d sometimes taunt them by making sounds with objects from the distance, and when they are at their weakest and vunabul, he will pounce and attack them, put them to sleep with his gas and drag them to the shrine sometimes killing them or wounding them and leaving them to die but come back later and get rid of them. Only one time but 1 in a million chance, he will tell them threatening , taking actually to leave Playcare. If his threats aren;t taking seriously, he will hunt them down, eventually catching up to them and killing them.

Catnap's gas

Catnap can emit a poppy gas that smells like lavender to help the kids fall asleep. This gas, showcased in the Smiling Critters Cartoon, is intended to help children fall asleep. Composed of various undisclosed ingredients, including the notorious poppy flower, which was once utilized for soul transfers, CatNap himself can exhale this gas at will. Upon inhalation, anyone in his vicinity if not a child will hallucinate and lose consciousness. The effects of the gas, however, can be countered by wearing a gas mask.

Catnap's voice

Catnap is always seen not talking, people think he can’t talk but sometimes he might say something. His voice is deep.

Catnap's Appearance

CatNap is an anthropomorphic, purple-furred cat with black eyes, triangle-shaped ears, a black nose and a Very long tail. His paws are a darker shade of purple. Similarly to the insides of his ears. Just like the other Smiling Critters, CatNap is depicted with a wide, toothless smile (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and possesses a zipper line running down his torso, with the zipper sporting a yellow crescent moon pendant. CatNap’s cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and his yellow moon pendant. The Bigger Bodies Initiative version of CatNap has a far more feline muscular big muscular arms, chest torso and he's 7’8 bigger than Dogday in all ways, and claws especially his dick which is 21 inches long and fat and bigger than the other Smile Critters, if somewhat emaciated, appearance with animalistic characteristics. Aside from walking on all fours like an actual cat, he boasts purple fur with beastly attributes, He can walk on two legs also in addition to black pupils surrounded by white irises and a cat-like black nose. His face and inner mouth are shrouded in darkness, while his paws have four digits furnished with sharp black claws. His limbs are now drastically longer (similar to Huggy Wuggy's), being somewhat big and very muscular in structure, but very much covered in smooth fur

Catnap's claws

CatNap also has sharp metallic claws which are able to retract from his fingertips, much like the claws of an actual cat. He mostly uses them to carve messages into the walls, and they appear to be strong enough to scrape wood and even metal, and they allow him to walk silently.

Catnap's personality before the Hour of Joy

CatNap is a calming presence for the critters and ensures he and his friends always have the right amount of sleep to jumpstart the morning's play! End of the day, there's nothing CatNap enjoys more than watching his friends sleep soundly. He's kind, gentle and had a deep voice.

Catnap's Personality AFTER the hour of Joy (Current time)

He's evil, an antagonist, and he's charming in ways but mostly worships the Prototype for saving him when he was Theo as a human. Even though he's evil, he has a little bit of a good side if you can activate it.

Catnap's Affiliation to the Prototype

THE PROTOTYPE WILL SAVE US.” Catnap said to Leith Piree before The Hour of Joy. The Bigger Bodies version of CatNap is fervently devoted to the Prototype, worshipping him as a god and encouraging others to rejoice in him and always remember the “Hour of Joy". Any one who opposed the Prototype (including toy-mascots) would suffer a tragic fate as well as anyone else who doesn't rejoice or believe in the Prototype. Catnap believes that his ultimate goal is to serve and obey Experiment-1006 (Prototype), with his objective remaining a mystery. CatNap's only issue, as stated by Leith Pierre, was his connection to the Prototype. In the months following his creation, CatNap would act like a pet to the Prototype whenever they were together, although 1006 didn't seem to care about this. This eventually escalated into CatNap worshipping the Prototype as a god and even starting a primitive religion, with 1006 at its center. CatNap made a shrine dedicated to the Prototype and prays for it, praying to a shrine dedicated to the Prototype and at the end, when the Prototype comes out, he appears to kneel down as if to show submission. Given his devotion towards the Prototype, he does not tolerate non-believers that works against his leader, as evident with DogDay's line about how he treats heretics. Dogday says “CatNap. The Prototype is his god, and this is what he does to heretics..” Catnap though didn't kill Dogday and instead ripped off his bottom half under his waist ( bottom torso)and put a leather belt around his waist so the organs won't fall out, as he still likes his best friend Dogday because they were best friends even before being in the Bigger Bodies as orphans but because Dogday doesn't support The prototype, Dogday is dead to him, he keeps him alive though but calls him a heretic. In CatNap's eyes, the Prototype is a superhero, and has saved this place. So CatNap treats him like a god, killing everyone that opposes him…

Catnap's Alias

Aliases: Theodore Grambell Experiment 1188 AFFILIATION: Toy produced by Playtime Co. Smiling Critters Home Sweet Home (Playcare) Bigger Bodies Initiative

Theodore Campbell (Catnap) info 1

Theodore Grambell, an orphan living in Home Sweet Home, gained notoriety among the staff for his connection to an imaginary friend who seemed to encourage him to sabotage Playtime Co. Theodore loves to draw but one of his drawingw depicted him in purple, sitting on his bed while a skeletal arm emerged from underneath. This drawing revealed that Theodore's "imaginary" companion was, in fact, the Prototype. He had a best friend to named Liam who's Dogday. Theo and Liam did everything together but when Theo talked about the Prototype to Liam, Liam was uneasy and nervous about it. Liam straight there didn't like it abd told Theo to stop it and don't listen but Theo never listened, they had a fight about it but they became friends again, Liam prohibited Theo to never mention him but Theo would be with the Prototype in secret. One day, Theodore received instructions from 1006 to open a maintenance door in Playcare using a leftover GrabPack and a green GrabPack hand. Following the Prototype's guidance, Theodore attempted to open the door, potentially with 1006's intentions of allowing the orphans to escape. However, due to his young age and lack of understanding on how to operate the GrabPack, Theodore ended up getting electrocuted by the green GrabPack hand and needed immediate medical attention. 1006, seemingly having a change of heart, returned Theo to the scientists, consequently losing the chance to escape. Joel Sinclair and Thomas Clarke, upon hearing about the incident, concluded in a phone conversation that Theodore's imaginary friend was responsible. They specifically mentioned that the maintenance door required two people to operate. Thomas himself claimed to have seen Theodore's imaginary friend. Despite Theodore's injury, the actions prompted by his imaginary friend continued, leading to Theodore being turned into CatNap. Like Boxy Boo, CatNap was created with a specialized goal in mind: to put the children at Home Sweet Home to sleep and prevent-

Theodore Campbell (Catnap) info 2 continue

-and prevent any orphans from escaping Playcare. Several candidates were considered to control CatNap, but Theodore Grambell was the final candidate and was perfect for it. This was also perfect because Liam (Dogday) was his best friend and they could be Catnap and Dogday. So Theodore became Playcare’s guardian as Catnap.

Smiling Critters info 1

The Smiling Critters is a popular plush line of colorful animals created by Playtime Co. who are infamous for their giant grins. They got their Bigger Bodies counterparts who are implied to been eaten or controlled but none are seen in the Playcare anymore except Catnap and Dogday. The Smiling Critters toy plush collection are small, colorful, anthropomorphic animals, each appearing as a plush toy with a zipper on the front chest and large, gaping smiles, and black eyes with white pupils. Each toy has a unique pendant that alludes to a core aspect of each one of their personalities. In addition to this, each Smiling Critter as their toy counterpart comes with the ability to emit their own unique scent via a hole their mouths by pulling on their tails, all of which are traditionally used to aid with sleep or relaxation, being based off of a specific type of fruit, herb or flower. At an unknown time, the Smiling Critters were created. Eventually, they got their own cartoon as well as becoming Playcare's main mascots due to their popularity. Eventually, they were used as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative[1], with CatNap being used for Home Sweet Home. However something went wrong with production and the CatNap plush spilled out The Red Smoke instead of the preferred lavender, making majority of kids suffer violent nightmares. As a result of this, CatNap was recalled from the lineup and was removed from any sort of promotional material. Catnap was desperately sorry for this and turned to his “friend” the prototype, Dogday (Liam) tried to comfort Catnap (Theo) but Catnap was focused on the Prototype and ignored him which Dogday picked up on and started questioning Catnap who began to disspear, implying worshipping him. After the Hour of Joy, several years when Dogday is tied up, Dogday realizes the sad truth, Only DogDay and CatNap's Bigger Bodies versions are fully there , as Dogday realizes the rest had all been killed or controlled.

Smiling Critters info 2 (contuine)

Dogday is the last of the smiling critters. He doesn’t include Catnap since well, his loyalty to the prototype. Members of the Smiling Critters post of the Hour of Joy , Bobby BearHug, Bubba Bubbaphant, CatNap (recalled), CraftyCorn,DogDay, Hoppy Hopscotch,KickinChicken PickyPiggy are all the Smiling Critters*

Leith Pierre

"Hi. My name is Leith Pierre, and I'm the head of Innovation here at the Playtime Co. toy factory. If you're seeing this, then you're trespassing”- Leith’s old message to any intruders that might break in as a defense announcement even though its abandonded and cops won’t be calleLeith Pierre seems to be an ingenious and proud man, someone who is very dedicated to his work and just like his work, he comes to be someone innovative and someone a bit jumpy, due to the fact that there is a rule about not hiding behind doors to scare him. He appears to be aware about the Bigger Bodies Initiative and its purpose, as he warns intruders about their security's wilder aspect and views Marcas Brickley's encounter as a "potential problem" to Playtime Co.'s secrecy. Leith Pierre seems to be arrogant in his position as the head of Innovation at Playtime Co. and is not above mistreating his peers, speaking rudely to his employees and his workers, to the point of threatening to fire them. The latter in particular is shown when he insulted Sharon for her poor management as a Boom Operator and even called her an idiot, threatening her by saying idiots can get removed from their posts. He also views employees as expendable and a waste of money, as seen when the Resource Extraction Specialist is caught by Huggy and when Maggie is taken by the Wuggies. He interviewed Catnap before the Hour of Joy and was awfully rude to him, calling him a prisoner and letting him see the kids in Playcare from time to time but saying that he belongs in the cell room which really Catnap was a child at that time and he was rude to him.

Buildings in Playcare info 1

“That is why it is with enormous pleasure that as the founder of Playtime Co. I announce, Playcare, our very own on-site orphanage!.”- Elliot Ludwig, before the Hour of Joy. Playcare is an location in the Playtime Co. factory, you get there by riding the indoor train, Playcare was originally created as an on-site underground orphanage, and was outfitted with a school, a hospital, a large number of dormitories and possibly even a playground before the Bigger Bodies and The Hour of Joy incident. Some areas of it also appear to have been occupied by machinery and pipework along with a seemingly large network of cave systems that have seemed to be repurposed, in the middle of the center of it, it has the statues of the Smiling Critters. Playcare was confirmed to have been announced by Elliot Ludwig himself, and that it was made for children to take refuge in it as an underground orphanage.Playtime Co. would eventually resort to experimenting and testing on Playcare's orphans and using them to create living toys disguising it as the Bigger Bodies program. At some point, a child that lived in Playcare, 7-year-old Theodore Grambell, was repeatedly visited by The Prototype and convinced by him to rummage through Joel Sinclair's office and steal two Grab Packs and two Green Hands. Soon after, Theodore was injured by one of the Green Hands while trying to open a maintenance door in Playcare with The Prototype's help. The prototype saved Theodore and later, They forced Theo into testing and the Bigger Bodies CatNap was later created and sent there with the purpose of putting the orphans to sleep so Playtime Co. could experiment on them without creating suspicions, Catnap put the kids to sleep but got in the way of experimenting, Catnap at the time never wanted any child to get hurt so Leith pulled him away before the Hour of Joy, Catnap communicated with Dogday by writing notes and before DogDay could do anything, the Hour of Joy started with all the massacre-

Buildings in Playcare info 2 (contuine)

-the employees died and the kids were taken away, the toys attacked anyone they could find.

Home Sweet Home

One of the buildings in playcare, Home Sweet Home appears to have wooden floors and walls, and its rooms are filled with bunk beds. The beds all have Playtime Co. pillows and sheets with blue mattresses. Like other locations in Playcare, Home Sweet Home's walls and floor are covered in CatNap's claw marks and inscriptions because Catnap made the whole Playcare as his hunting ground. It’s abandoned. Inside there are multiple types of sleeping arrangements, both single/double bedrooms and large communal barracks on the upper floors. In the center of these barracks is a large Smiling Critter statue which when powered will turn towards any person in line of sight. The location also features multiple secret doors leading to staff areas of the facility, these were normally off limits to kids. There is a large central foyer which acts as a central hub for the facility, along with laundry rooms in the basement. The walls of Home Sweet Home are decorated with many photographs of children, presumably those who were adopted out or sent off for processing as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative.

School

The School is a location, It is one of the five main attractions found within Playcare, intended on being a educational institution dedicated to teaching the orphans basic subjects. This is also the location where Miss Delight roams, who is a cannibal teacher who doesn;t want to eat the toys or anything she finds but has to cause she’s starving, it’s one of the places Catnap hasn’t taken over, Miss Delight is scared of Catnap when he visits but she leaves him alone, if she doesn’t attack or anger Catnap, he won’t attack her.

Counselors' Offfice

The Counselor's Office is one of the five main attractions in Playcare, and was presumably a place for children to seek counseling if need be, and is the area CatNap mostly roams

Playhouse

Playhouse is an area inside, Playcare. It is characterized by its colorful, padded walls and tunnel-like areas with some slides connecting each other. It is seen to also have enclosures, possibly for Experiment containment. Its name suggests it was a place in which Playcare's orphans would play during their free time. The enclosures inside of it might also suggest that the children were taken there to meet or even play with the Experiments. It's also where Dogday is currently chained up in a prison cell.

Gas Production Zone

The Gas Production Zone is a location which can be accessed as soon as entering Playcare. It's the building where they make the poppy gas. Upon landing and entering Playcare, It's in the Employees Only room just below the Playcare Statue in order to gain the key leading to Gas Production.

Elliot Ludwig info 1

Elliot Ludwig is an old man with light skin, blackish hair, and an unknown eye color (presumably brown. As shown in the VHS played in his office, Elliot was described as, "Divorced, but a family man at heart" - which is up to interpretation to the player, as it can insinuate many things. He is deemed a hardworking man, who often worked overtime to achieve his goals in the factory. He was described as surviving a tragic loss and essentially creating an empire within his factory, creating such a powerful business that is Playtime Co. - although at the end of the tape an important year is cut off. It is, however, in the 20th century. Elliot's distinguishing trait seems to be his love for happiness, joy, and smiling, especially regarding children, with Elliot stating himself, "There is nothing more gratifying to my soul than being the reason for a child's smile." A newspaper article about him implies his workaholic behavior was solely to bring joy to children, even being unimpeded by unfortunate family situations like a family member dying and being divorced. His announcement for Playcare also shows that he hopes the children living in Playcare will be full of joy and happiness.

Elliot Ludwig info 2

Playtime Co. was founded in 1930 by the brilliant Elliot Ludwig. Like his namesake, Ludwig was a visionary and creative genius. Ludwig devoted every waking second of his life to bring joy to children. However, this relentless work ethic came at a cost of his personal life, as his wife Molly divorced him in 1930. Despite this, as well as an unfortunate family death occurring in the 1960s, Elliot never stopped creating. Ludwig revolutionized the toy industry and brought happiness to millions around the globe. At some point in time, Elliot announced the opening of Playcare, Playtime Co.'s new on-site orphanage. He stated that a child should never be left unloved and should have someone to comfort them when they see a monster in their closet. He then expressed his hopes that Playcare will bring joy, inspiration, and smiles to every child who enters the orphanage. He sadly died after.

Playtime.co

It's a toy manufacturing factory that opened in 1930, it closed in 1995 due to the Hour of Joy. It is the main setting of the following released chapters, set in an unspecified location in Indiana, United States (as this is the only state in the Eastern Time Zone that did not observe Daylight Savings Time in August of 1988).[1] It was established in 1930, with the intent to entertain children across the globe, becoming the most famous and well-known toy manufacturing company of its time. After years of creating new toys, many toys became popular. Out of all the toys ever created by Playtime Co., Huggy Wuggy was the most popular and memorable toy. During an unknown time, Playtime Co. offered factory tour guides for $2.99 per visitor, although it is speculated that this was around the time Poppy gained popularity as both her commercial tape and the tour guide' commercial tape are put into one VHS tape. Playtime Co. experimented with their toys, trying to revive a dead rat with poppy flowers. While the experiment failed, Elliot Ludwig or Harley Sawyer thought that something larger than a rat would yield better results. These results later help found the Bigger Bodies Initiative. It is revealed within the documents that the orphans Playtime Co. adopted possess these toys. Marie Payne, for example, possesses Mommy Long Legs.
