Rebekca Sugar

American animator, screenwriter, director, producer, composer and songwriter. She is known as the writer and storyboard artist for Adventure Time, and as the creator of the animated series Steven Universe, which debuted on Cartoon Network in 2013. This made her the first female creator of a show on Cartoon Network. She was nominated several times for the Primetime Emmy Award.

Steven Sugar

brother of the show's creator Rebecca Sugar, as well as the prototype for Steven Universe's main character. He was a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. Worked as a summer intern on the Ben 10: Alien Superpower project. He currently works for Cartoon Network as a background creator for Steven Universe. He is also the background artist for Pendleton Ward's Bravest Warriors animated series and is currently developing his own indie game called Magbot with the gaming company VaporPunk.
