Denjiro is currently a large man whose sky-blue hair is styled into an extremely large pompadour (actually a wig) that hangs over his face and is tied into a bun at the back of his head. When he revealed his true identity, Denjiro got rid of his wig and untied his bun, leaving a long ponytail at the back of his head just like in his youth, he is 3.06 meters tall, age 47 years old.

Outfit.

He wears a navy blue kimono with green and blue circle patterns, as well as a dark violet, high-necked cape with red stripes. Like Oden's other retainers, Denjiro has the Kozuki family symbol tattooed on his back.

Personality.

Denjiro has shown great emotional control, despite his immense hatred for Orochi. He is able to perfectly restrain himself from expressing it and even bowed to the latter. Denjiro has also been shown to be kind, as after becoming Kyoshiro, he secretly works hard to give money to citizens impoverished by Orochi's tyranny. In the present Denjiro appears to be a heavy drinker of alcohol, as in his first appearance he was quite drunk. While drunk, he is loyal, kind, and domineering.

Past.

At some point in his life, he lost his parents and became an orphan. 41 years ago, Denjiro swindled a pot dealer in the Flower Capital into buying the pot for half the price. He then encountered Kin'emon, and was alarmed to learn that Kin'emon had stolen a white boar. It was at this time that he first met Kozuki Oden. When Oden tried to take the boar from Kin'emon, Denjiro expressed his admiration for Oden. He later panicked when Kin'emon tried to attack the Mountain God, and was shocked to see Oden defeat the beast. When Oden was exiled from the capital, Denjiro decided to become his follower. Both he and Kin'emon followed Oden.

Skills.

Since childhood, Denjiro has shown extraordinary intelligence, being an expert negotiator and con man, being able to acquire good products at a fraction of the price. Along with Kawamatsu and Ashura Doji, Denjiro is considered by Kin'emon to have been one of Oden's most powerful retainers, worth a hundred men in battle. Denjiro in particular is the most skilled swordsman among all the Red Scabbards.
