Ruti Ragnason

Background

Ruti is the younger sister of the protagonist, Red, also known as Gideon Ragnason, and the former leader of the Hero's Party, holding the Hero's Blessing, the rarest and most powerful of the Blessings which gives her the designation of the Hero and being destined to slay the Demon Lord. This has granted her unimaginable power, yet also inhibits her emotions and very humanity as these are unnecessary for a hero. However due to Ares' insolence and later demise, she officially quit as the Hero after which the Hero's Party to disbands. She also gains a new blessing the "New Truth" to suppress her blessing as a Hero just so she could reside in Zoltan with her brother. She becomes an employee of her brother's herb shop and a B-Rank Adventure despite she is no longer being the Hero. After her resignation as a Hero, she was replaced by a new Hero named Van. However, he was soon suffered the same corrosive of his Blessing (which is a curse) as Ruti once did.

Appearance

Ruti is a young girl with medium long blue hair. She usually wears a knights armor with a blue dress. She also wears black knee socks with either heeled boots or flat shoes.

Personality

Ruti is normally a very quiet, reserved, and emotionless girl; however, this is because of the Hero's Blessing canceling out any emotions that aren't considered vital to her completing her quest as a hero. And due to this, she always remains calm and is sometimes cold towards her party members, especially toward Ares after she secretly found out that it was him who banished Red from her party. However she is welcoming to the new members of her party such as Tisse since she knows she is innocent and devoted to fight against the Demons. But tells Tisse to follow her order, and not Ares. On the inside, she's much different. She has a strong brother complex and is deeply in love with her older brother, almost to an obsessive level since he helped her smile and get along with her party members. She was saddened when he left the party without learning the reason why. But unfortunately without her older brother's support for her party, she becomes the de facto leader of the Hero's party with an authoritarian way of leading since most of her members, especially Ares, feared and respected her because of her blessing and her superior fighting skills. She's also a Yandere for her brother as well, and like all Yanderes, will go to great lengths to keep him safe and make sure that he's only ever hers. She revealed she never want to become a hero because this isn't what she desires. Like most of her former party members, she hates Ares Srowa for banishing her brother and later betrayed her and the other "Heroes". She refuses to marry him or defeat the Demon Lord. She rejected him thrice. She felt no sympathy for the traitor despite she attended to his funeral which is unceremonious. It also given us a hinted from their childhood story that she had a brother complex which is so strong to cause her to quit as the Hero due to Ares' betrayal and later death.
