Chris is the host of the season and also the main antagonist of the entire series. His narcissistic personality and his zero concern for the health of the contestants make him a cruel person and he laughs at the pain of others (even if it is his best friend, the Chef). His sadistic personality seems to have been increasing throughout the seasons, creating increasingly more complicated and dangerous challenges. There is only one time when he cared about the lives of the contestants but it was for his own interest since without contestants there would be no show and he would not get paid, showing that he is also a selfish person.
