Yuji Itadori (虎杖悠仁, Itadori Yūji?) is the protagonist of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a first-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College and a vessel of the Curse King, Sukuna. He used to be a student at Sugisawa Municipal High School, where he displayed incredible physical strength but had no interest in sports. He used to spend much of his time in the Occult Club. Any information regarding his parents is unknown, and the only relative who cared for him was his grandfather. When he meets Megumi Fushiguro, he ends up drawn into the world of shamans and curses. At a certain point in the story, after ingesting one of Sukuna's fingers, the finger incarnates within him, and Itadori becomes its vessel. From then on, Itadori is on a mission to find Sukuna's remains scattered throughout Japan and ingest them, in order to be executed and destroy the King of Curses forever.

Yuji Itadori's appearance

Itadori is a tall, muscular teenager, standing at a height of 173 centimeters (5' 7"). In the manga illustrations, his hair is spiky and light brown,[2] while in the anime it is depicted in shades similar to pale pink.[3] He has thin eyebrows and large, light brown eyes. After becoming a vessel for Sukuna, a small line appears below each of his eyes. At the beginning of the series, Itadori wore a light-colored hooded jacket, black pants with the bottom rolled up, and white shoes. After he enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he began wearing their version of the uniform: in the manga, he wears a long-sleeved black shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants,[4] and red shoes,[5] while in the anime, the shirt and pants are depicted as navy blue.[6] His casual attire tends to consist of hoodies, black pants, and black shoes. He is not the type to like wearing hoodies, but wears them because he is indecisive about what to wear.[7] In the false memories that occurred in Chapter 35, he attended junior high school with Aoi Todo and Takada-chan. He was seen wearing a gakuran with the top open, revealing a red hoodie with black pants. [8] In other false memories that occurred in Chapter 106, he was gathered with Choso, Esou and Kechizu, where he was seen wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark pants. Yuji Itadori's personality

Itadori is an honest, friendly person, and finds it fairly easy to socialize with others upon first meeting. He cares greatly, not only for his comrades, but for anyone he sees who has a mind of their own, regardless of how deep or shallow his connection to them may be. He cares deeply about the "value of a life" and to this end will ensure that others receive a "just death." He is easily angered by sheer cruelty and unfair judgment from others. Kento Nanami claims that Itadori is capable of feeling the hatred and pain of others as if it were his own.[10] One of Itadori's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others, sparked by his grandfather's last words to him to always help others. For example, when he and Megumi Fushiguro were about to be killed by a curse, Itadori swallowed Sukuna's finger in order to exorcise it and save them, despite that being his first encounter with Megumi.[2] He maintains that he does not wish to kill curses because once he does, he will always have to resort to murder, and thus prefers to defeat them and then exorcise them so that they receive a righteous death.[11] During a confrontation with Aoi Todo, he revealed that his type is "a tall girl with a big butt, like Jennifer Lawrence."[12] However, it turns out that he is a very careless person when it comes to love and does not really care about a woman's appearance. He revealed that during his high school days, he used to be attracted to people's personalities, nature, and behavior.[13] He tends to have fun and show joy often. He is quick to adapt to his teacher Satoru Gojo's jokes and humor, and also tends to get carried away by his teacher's ideas.[14] He is well known for being a joker and a master of imitation, albeit a half-hearted one.[7]

Mahito

Mahito (真人, Mahito?) is one of the main antagonists of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a special-grade curse, born from the hatred of humans towards other humans. Its ultimate goal is the eradication of humanity, and ultimately, to replace the population with cursed spirits. He was part of Suguru Geto's team and was a companion of Hanami, Jogo and Dagon.

Mahito's appearance

Mahito, unlike other curses, has a human appearance [1]. He has a thin and tall body, however, he is able to change the entire structure of his body and transform into whatever he wishes [2]. He received the nickname "Patchface" due to the number of scars he has on his face and throughout his body [1]. His skin tone is light and somewhat pale [3]. His hair is bluish-gray [4], although it has also been depicted with purple colors [5]; it is long and is divided into three strands held with a band before reaching the end of his hair. His eyes are of different colors, the right one is light and the left one is dark [1]; in the anime, the right one is depicted as gray and the left one as blue [6]. Her signature attire consists of a black shawl with haphazard line patterns that splits into three pieces at the left sleeve, accompanied by matching pants[1]; said attire, in the anime, is depicted in all blue and black, and the shawl has a pattern of lines that join together to form squares[7]. She wears white shoes with black designs. When she uses "Instant Death Spirit Body" she is able to reveal her true form as a curse. The structure of her body changes completely: she loses her human face, her body becomes muscular, dagger-like leaves emerge from her arms, she grows a long tail, and a series of twisted fringes or waves emerge from her head. Even in this form, she manages to maintain certain characteristics of her 'patched' body[8].

Mahito's personality

He is a sadistic and immature cursed spirit who enjoys toying with human emotions[4] and has no sympathy for the lives of others. He claims to have been born from human transgressions and considers himself the very manifestation of humans' hatred for one another.[2] He pursues the strong ideal that humans should become extinct and curses should rule in their place. He is fully dedicated to his cause, so much so that he does not care if he is still alive when his goal is fulfilled.[9] Despite this claim, in battles where he has felt his life is in danger, he will often flee,[4][10][11][12] maintaining that as long as he can preserve his soul form, he will never die. According to Suguru Geto, unlike Jogo, Mahito can remain relatively calm and is the type to prepare his plans before acting.[13] Despite his frivolous personality, he has shown on several occasions to be someone with a playful and cheerful nature; He even used to play with Hanami and Dagon in his free time.[14] Kento Nanami describes him as extremely immature, with a child-like personality.[15] If he feels that a human can serve his purposes, he will not hesitate to manipulate them until he slowly kills their soul. Nobara Kugisaki (釘崎野薔薇, Kugisaki Nobara?) is one of the protagonists of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a first-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, and classmate of Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. She used to live in the countryside, in a village located four hours from Morioka Station. She comes to Tokyo in order to become a Jujutsu Shaman and to find her childhood friend, Saori[3].

Nobara's appearance

Nobara is a young woman of average height and slim, reaching 160 centimeters [2]. In the manga, both her eyes and hair are orange [4], and it is revealed that her hair was dyed when she lived in her village [2]; while in the anime, both her eyes and hair are light brown [5]. Her signature attire is her own version of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College uniform, which consists of a low-collared black jacket with a long black skirt and black tights; in the anime, her attire is depicted as navy blue.[3] She also uses a light-colored belt to hold her hammer, nails, and straw doll; in the anime, her belt is depicted as brown.[3] While training, she wears a light-colored hoodie with a dark flower pattern around her shoulders, black pants, and white shoes.[6] Her casual attire typically varies between dresses[7] and hoodies, black pants[8] and white shoes.[9]

Nobara's personality

Nobara is a passionate young woman, extremely expressive and honest about her feelings. From the beginning, she shows interest in everything related to the world of modeling and shopping, she also shows that she can get angry easily if she is rejected [10]. She shows her true and aggressive side in certain situations, whether they cause embarrassment [11] or she feels rejection towards the other person [12]. During her confrontation with Momo Nishimiya, she expresses pride in her way of being and that she prefers to follow her path as long as she is sure of herself. She is willing to let go of curses when they have hostages in their power[11]; she knows what is important to her, and is not just about living a life of luxury, she is willing to give it all up if it will help save others. Nobara also possesses a childish and friendly side, though she rarely shows it when she is around Yuji Itadori. She is also capable of teamwork, shown when she teams up with Itadori and later with other shamans. She is also humble enough to admit that she is not on par with other shamans such as Kento Nanami.

Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro (伏ふし黒ぐろ恵めぐみ, Fushiguro Megumi?) is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Megumi is the stepbrother of Tsumiki Fushiguro and as the son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is also a descendant of the Zenin Clan. Megumi was born outside the clan as Toji's trump card and was eventually found by Satoru Gojo, who mentored him and enrolled him in Jujutsu High as his student.

Megumi's appearance

Megumi is a relatively tall and thin young man with fair skin and green eyes (dark blue in the anime adaptation). He has a unique style of black hair with long spikes sticking out in all directions around his head, resembling a sea urchin (according to Hakari). Megumi normally wears a standard Jujutsu High uniform consisting of a dark blue blazer over a long-sleeved white dress shirt. Her uniform pants match her blazer and only reach just above her shins. She wears long black socks that cover her exposed ankles and completes her outfit with brown low-top shoes. She also wears a blue tracksuit for training. In junior high school, Megumi wore the Saitama Urami East Junior High uniform, which consisted of a tan blazer over a white dress shirt with black pants and white sneakers. While sneaking inside the Gachinko Fight Club, Megumi wore a black hoodie and matching pants with her normal shoes as a disguise.

megumi's personality

Megumi is a seemingly stoic, aloof, and calculating individual. He usually has a neutral facial expression that rarely changes and seems to take every situation seriously. This contrasts with the outgoing and goofy personalities of Yuji, Nobara, and Satoru, which often annoy Megumi. He is easily irritated, and Yuji has noticed that Megumi always seems to be slightly angry. [5]

Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo (五条悟, Gojō Satoru) is a character in the manga series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School and one of the protagonists of the sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen. Known by the nickname The Strongest Shaman (最強の呪術師, Saikyō no Jujutsu-shi), he is one of the four Special Class shamans, a former classmate of Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri, and the current teacher at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, in charge of the first-year students. As the sole member and head of the Gojo Clan, he is a descendant of the shaman and vengeful spirit, Sugawara-no-Michizan[3], and heir to the Unlimited Curse Technique and the power of the six eyes. From the day of his birth, a balance of power existed between humanity and the curses; the fall of his clan and therefore his death would mean losing that balance, sparking a full-scale war that humanity would find difficult to win.[4]

Gojo's appearance

Satoru is a thin and fairly tall man, reaching 190 centimeters [2]. His hair is white and he usually wears it combed up with spiky strands when he is working as a teacher or shaman; in his free time, he usually has all his hair disheveled and much of it tends to fall over his face, covering much of his forehead and eyes. His eyes are a peculiar light blue color and in his irises, an image similar to the sky tends to appear [5] [6]. He is considered attractive by many women. He often wears a dark-colored cloth to cover his eyes; while in the prequel series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, Gojo's eyes are covered with white bandages.[7] During his younger days, he often wore sunglasses instead of bandages or cloth.[8] His signature attire consists of a high-collared black coat, long black pants, and black shoes; this same attire, in the anime, is depicted as navy blue.[9] Choosing to dress more casually, Gojo wears dark, round glasses instead of a blindfold and wears fairly casual clothing, usually a dark, long-sleeved shirt and loose-fitting pants. As a child, he often wore traditional Japanese clothing consisting of a kimono and his haori had a pattern with shapes similar to dragonflies.[10] At other times, he wore casual clothes such as light-colored sweatshirts and dark pants.[11]

Gojo's personality

Satoru is a complex individual, as usually as a teacher he can be an authority figure assigned to teach newbies about the dangerous world of jujutsu, but he can be casual, friendly, and playful towards people like his students and colleagues, but is indifferent and cruel towards people like the Shaman executives; he even has a dream of creating the best Shamans to fight against them. He is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful Shaman. Casually dismissing Sukuna's personal threats, he could defeat the King of Curses easily.[12]

Doing so allows him to disfigure his victims' bodies, heal his own wounds, transform his appendages into weapons, and an unlimited variety of other possible transformations. Nobara's skills

Nobara's cursed technique is known as the Voodoo Doll Technique (芻霊呪法, Sūrei Juhō). An innate technique that requires a voodoo doll, hammers, and nails in order to exert force or control an opponent from a distance.[14] Resonance (共鳴り, Tomonari): Using a voodoo doll and some limb of the curse, Nobara pierces a nail in order to form a bond between the two. Whatever the doll experiences, the curse will also experience. The power effect usually varies depending on the skill difference between Nobara and her opponent.[14] Hairpin (簪, Kanzashi): Allows any nail used as a projectile to be detonated into a blast of cursed energy near its target, upon Nobara's command. Because it is a short-range technique, the effect of the explosion could vary depending on its use[3].

Nobara weapons

It is unknown whether Nobara has professional training in the use of cursed weapons or tools. The instruments she usually uses in combat consist of a hammer, nails, a straw doll, and a rubber mallet, which she uses with great agility. Voodoo Doll (, Voodoo Doll?) [14]: Nobara places an object belonging to her enemy or even a limb of her body on top of the doll and, by piercing a nail, whatever the doll experiences will be experienced at the same time in the body of her opponent. Nails (, Nails?) A technique inherited among the members of the Zenin Clan, where shadows are used to create advanced shikigami, and also uses the shadow to contain objects. It has the major disadvantage that in order to use a summoning it must have been previously exorcised, also, if a shikigami is destroyed, it cannot be used again unless it is fused with another. The shikigami that can be summoned are: Jade Wolves (玉犬, Gyokuken?): Allows the summoning of two twin wolves, one is white while the other is black, and both have three dots on their foreheads of opposite colors. Their primary function is to chase and devour curses. They are also useful for tracking scents, can warn of incoming curses or lead one to specific targets. [14]. Jade Wolves: Totality (玉犬 渾, Gyokuken: Kon?): When Jade Wolf: White was destroyed by Sukuna, his abilities and curse power were inherited by Jade Wolf: Black; this allowed the creation of an enhanced version of the shikigami dubbed Jade Wolves: Totality. It adopts a bipedal form, resembling a werewolf with large claws. It is fast and powerful enough to fight against a Special Grade Cursed Spirit. Its teeth and claws canChimera (鵺, Nue?): An owl-like shikigami that can fly. Its uses in combat are quite varied: it is strong enough to carry a human[15], its offensive abilities are primarily diving attacks from the sky, it also serves as support, flying around its prey and attacking when it is vulnerable[16]. Snake Monster (大蛇, Orochi?): a giant-sized shikigami snake with a long length that can be used as a surprise attack, since it is also capable of being summoned from the ground and can bind the opponent.

Territory Expansion: A technique where cursed energy is used to construct an innate territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding area. Megumi's technique is currently incomplete. Jet Garden of Chimeras (嵌合暗翳庭, Kangō An'eitei): The created area possesses a large amount of fluid shadows. From the shadow, Megumi is capable of summoning multiple shikigami and even creating a doppelganger of himself. He is also capable of hiding within an enemy's shadow and attacking from their blind spot.[3] In his battle at Tokyo Colony #1 against Reggie Star, a weakness was shown in which is that Megumi's body will bear the weight of all objects that fall inside the shadow that spreads on the ground of his Territory as if he were carrying them.

Satoru Gojo's skills

Gojo's cursed technique is known as the Limitless Curse Technique (無下限, Mukagen?). It is a technique inherited among the members of the Gojo Clan. It has a series of forms and based on these forms, it goes up in level, allowing for precise manipulation of space at an atomic level, giving multiple results and subsequent techniques within the general ability. With space manipulation as the basic level of the technique, it has three standard forms and a "non-standard" one that goes beyond unlimited. The derivative techniques that it can use are:Infinite (無限, Mugen?): It is the neutral form of Limitless. It usually creates an illusion that its target stops instead of advancing, however, it fulfills the main function of slowing things or people down[1]. Whenever something tries to hit Gojo, it never hits and instead hits the infinity that separates them. Forward Rotation: Blue (術式順転「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten: Ao?): This is the enhanced version of Unlimited Neutral, where unlimited and negative numbers are amplified, resulting in the creation of impossible situations. Through creating such impossible situations, Gojo creates a scenario where the world itself is forced to attempt to correct itself and fill the negative space, causing things to gather in the place of the impossible situations and end up generating mutual attraction[6Maximum Forward Rotation: Blue Glow (術式順転出力最大「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten Shutsuryoku Saidai: Ao?): By harnessing cursed energy combined with the attractive power of space, Gojo causes a single point to attract everything around it. He is also able to move the point around himself to attract everything around him to that point[7].

Gojo's skills

Maximum Forward Rotation: Blue Glow (術式順転出力最大「蒼」, Jutsushiki Junten Shutsuryoku Saidai: Ao?): By harnessing cursed energy combined with the power of space attraction, Gojo causes a single point to attract everything around it. He is also able to move the point around himself to attract everything around him to that point.[7]. Imaginary: Purple (虚式「茈」, Kyoshiki: Murasaki?): Allows the molding of cursed energy combined with positive energy to generate a clash between both energies, distorting space. When Gojo snaps his fingers, an attack with devastating power is released.[6] This technique is a result of the combination of Forward Rotation and Reverse Rotation. If Gojo doesn't gauge his strength, any person or object can be caught in the attack. Reverse Rotation: Red Glow (術式反転「赫」, Jutsushiki Hanten: Aka?): This is the opposite of Forward Rotation: Blue. By using the Reversal technique to reverse the properties of Forward Rotation, Gojo activates the divergence of his Infinity, and in turn, causes an attracting technique to become a violently repelling technique. Gojo is allowed to interact with a void, creating a large explosive void that repels[1]. As an ability that works with positive energy, it is formed as a reverse curse technique. The skill has twice the destructive capacity of Forward RotationTerritorial Expansion: A technique where cursed energy is used to construct an innate territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding areaImmeasurable Void (無量空処, Muryōkūsho): Results in the formation of a boundless space that allows its user to transmit boundless information to anyone caught within its territory. In addition to the Unlimited Curse Technique, it allows the user to render their opponent immobile, giving them no chance to use the information they receive and leaving them dying slowly.[10]

Gojo's skills

Screen (帳, Tobari?): Allows the construction of a barrier that separates a certain surrounding area from another area. Screens exist for various purposes. The type of screen Gojo is capable of creating is unknown.[11] Dark Flash (黒閃, Kokusen): A technique that every shaman is capable of using, but as of yet, no shaman is able to use it at will. When a shaman makes an impact with cursed power within .000001 seconds of the physical blow, space distorts and the cursed power flashes black.[12] Six Eyes (六眼, Rokugan): Not much is known regarding the Six Eyes' ability. It is known to play a role in the precise use of the Unlimited Curse Technique and is capable of seeing beyond what normal people usually see.

Ryomen Sukuna (両面宿儺, Ryōmen Sukuna?) (lit. Two-Faced Sukuna), more commonly known as Sukuna (宿儺, Sukuna?) is the main antagonist of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. Nicknamed the King of Curses (呪いの王, Noroi no Ō?), he was the strongest shaman a thousand years ago and currently an incarnation of special-grade cursed objects. According to legend, Sukuna was a human-like demon who existed during the golden age of Jujutsu about 1000 years ago, and by perfecting their skills, sorcerers were able to defeat him. After his death, they were unable to destroy his body and it passed down through generations in the form of cursed objects, represented by a total of 20 fingers[1]. However, years later, during the modern period, Yuji Itadori ends up in possession of a finger and ingests it in an attempt to help the people around him, as a result, Sukuna manages to incarnate in his body[2].

His past appearance describes him as a four-armed, two-faced demon. Currently, he looks like his vessel (Yuji Itadori), but with his hair up in shades similar to rosewood[3] and with lines/marks on his forehead, nose, cheeks and body. He also has a second pair of eyes, below his normal ones. Sukuna also has two lines that start at his collarbone and descend to his hips, one surrounding his neck and circles on both shoulders[4]. When he takes possession of Itadori's body, he is usually seen wearing the uniform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College. In the manga, he wears a black long-sleeved shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants[5] and red shoes[6], while in the anime, the shirt and pants are depicted as navy blue.[7] On other occasions, he may be seen shirtless, or commonly wearing a light kimono with black trim, a black scarf, and black shoes.[8]

Sukuna's personality

Sukuna possesses a free spirit that is only guided by pleasure[9], and given his sadistic personality, he likes and immensely enjoys the suffering of others. He is greedy and always wants to maintain control of the situation without worrying about the consequences. He claims to have no interest in his vessel, Yuji Itadori, but he flatly refuses to let anyone try to kill him, since doing so would mean getting in the way of his plans[9]. He immediately considers anyone who doesn't meet his expectations based on physical strength or abilities to be boring.[10] He constantly criticizes his vessel for how weak and incompetent they are with their abilities, even becoming annoyed when they lose to an opponent he considers weaker than Itadori.[11] On the other hand, if he encounters someone strong and who is able to entertain him enough, he will often praise his opponent's skills.[12] Although he enjoys killing humans, especially weak children[13] and vital women[14], he has a cunning side that he often uses to his advantage. For example, during his confrontation with Megumi Fushiguro, he ripped out his vessel's heart to prevent it from successfully performing the body switch.[15] Sukuna considers himself above humans, sorcerers, curses, and curse users. His attitude is similar to that of an arrogant tyrant king, and as such, he constantly treats others as his inferiors and orders them around whenever he feels he has the right to do so. Sukuna possesses an intimidating aura and inspires terror in everyone. He does not hesitate to intimidate and threaten those around him to make them do his bidding. In Shibuya, as soon as he woke up and took control of his vessel body, he threatened Jogo, Mimiko, and Nanako to kneel before him. He also threatened all the humans present, saying that if they moved without his permission, he would kill them all without hesitation.

Sukuna's abilities

Techniques Cursed Technique: The name of Sukuna's cursed technique is unknown. It is known that, through the molding of cursed energy, he is able to use his abilities to produce cutting attacks. He has also shown to be able to use fire and manipulate it at will. Undo (解, Kai?) (lit. Release): With the simple movement of his fingers, he can cause the manifestation of a common cutting attack. This cut is used to attack non-living beings. Split (捌, Hachi?) (lit. Pre-Cut/Stick): This is quite similar to his regular cut but this one adapts the cursed energy depending on the enemy. It tends to be used on living beings. Territorial Expansion: A technique where cursed energy is used to build up a territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding area. Demonic Reliquary (伏魔御厨子, Fukuma Mizushi?): Results in the creation of a Buddhist temple decorated with skulls. It is different from other types of territorial expansions since this one does not create a barrier that separates both spaces, but rather provides the enemy with an exit, but in exchange the space of the territory reaches a radius of 200 meters, which Sukuna can manipulate as he pleases [9]. Binding Contract: Contract with Beneficial Parties (, Binding Contract: Contract with Beneficial Parties?): It is a contract created through the use of cursed energy made between Itadori and Sukuna. The contract follows the condition: 1. When Sukuna shouts 'Open Promise', Itadori must surrender his body for one minute. 2. Following that, Itadori must forget the conditions of the contract. 3. During the minute in which they switch bodies, Sukuna will not hurt anyone.
