Chi-Chi follows the same basic design as other Akira Toriyama characters, she is a very white-skinned Asian woman with black eyes and hair, she has a Hime hairstyle (bangs and two long locks in front) She wears a yellow qipao with a ribbon tied around the waist and a scarf, both purple garments, also underneath she has light blue pants, rain boots and all her hair is in a Japanese bun with a kanzaki.

personality

Chi-Chi presented the personality of the stereotypical Asian mother; being greatly feared by her husband and his friends, the woman also educated Gohan in a strict way so that he could become a scientist and be successful in the future; after the second death of her husband, the woman blamed herself for his death and lamented every night; she also educated her second son, but she did it in a completely different way with respect to Gohan, introducing him from a young age to the world of martial arts, perhaps as a way of apologizing to her husband for not allowing her eldest son to practice these arts and for the emotional impact that learning of his death at the hands of Cell produced on him. Chi-Chi did not show an arduous attempt to make Goten study; even so, she forbade him to transform into a Super Saiyan; and when the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament arrived, she ordered her children to train in order to bring the prize money home. Chi-Chi is usually very dismissive when something happens to her children, showing this during the first few days when Videl came to her house to train with Gohan. However, showing her greedy side, Chi-Chi accepts her future daughter-in-law upon discovering that she came from a multi-millionaire family and tries several times to get her and Gohan to start a relationship, not knowing that this would eventually end in marriage. It was shown that Chi-Chi tends to cry and become depressed when her family and friends are seriously injured, usually fainting and her face turns blue. Chi-Chi, like Bulma or Lunch, is a victim of Kame-Sen'nin's frequent perversions, so despite having respect for him, she always leaves him badly injured. Chi-Chi also proves to be braver than some Z warriors, trying to go fight against certain villains without caring about losing her life. This was seen when she wanted to fight Nappa and Vegeta; also against Cell and Boo, ending up being killed.
