Portgas D. Ace

Description

Portgas D. Ace, born as Gol D. Ace and nicknamed "Fire Fist" Ace, was the biological son of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and Portgas D. Rouge, as well as the sworn older brother of Luffy and Sabo. Ace was adopted by Monkey D. Garp, as had been requested by Roger before his execution. Ace was captain of the Spade Pirates before being recruited into the Whitebeard Pirates and becoming its 2nd division commander. He ate the Mera Mera no Mi, giving him the power to transform into and manipulate flames.

Curiosities

Usually while eating he suddenly falls asleep and ends up using his plate of food as pillow for some minutes, as his narcolepsy hits him while eating. he also has the same appetite as Luffy's, he is gluttonous.

20 years before Timeskip, 23 after the 2 years Timeskip as his birthday is the 1stvof January and by that he is Capricorn.

Physical appearance

Ace is a young man of 20 years old with a height of 1.85 meters. He has short black hair and dark eyes. His build is muscular, reflecting his physical strength.

Clothes

Clothing: He wears black boots, black knee-length pants with an orange studded eyelet ribbon, and a blue bag with a belt around his left leg. He also wears a short second belt with a large red "A" on the silver buckle above his right hip, but left it unraveled and threaded the free end along the back of his shorts. A dagger in a green area hung from his left hip. On Ace's left arm, he wore a Log Pose and a red and white striped bracelet around his wrist, an orange elbow guard, and his "ASCE" tattoo. He was wearing a red beaded necklace and an orange hat with two blue emoticons, with a frown and a smile, and a red beaded necklace sitting on the brim. Two secondary straps hung on either side of his hat and featured a large bull's skull medallion with orange tassels.He has a tattoo on his back with the Whitebeard symbol and another on his left bicep that read “ASCE” with the “S” crossed out, possibly a tribute to his deceased brother, Sabo.

Devil fruit attacks and abilities

Ace ate the Devil Fruit Mera Mera no Mi (メラメラの実), a Logia-type fruit that gave him pyrokinetic abilities and his nickname Fire Fist. some of his techniques are: * Enkai: Ace makes a circle of flames around him so that nothing and no one can get through. * Dai Enkai: Ace does the same as the Enkai only he is bigger but only the fire appears on the ground. * Entei: After using his Dai Enkai, Ace makes a huge fireball that he can throw at the enemy, he used it for the first time against Blackbeard. * Hiken: It is Ace's most characteristic attack that is why they called it "Fire Fist", Ace acts as if he were going to punch and launches a large flame attack, he was seen using it for the first time against the Billions. * Higan: Ace puts his fingers in the shape of a gun and starts shooting fire bullets, he used it for the first time against Van Auger.
