Mark Grayson is the son of Nolan Grayson, aka Omni-Man, one of Earth's mightiest protectors. His father belongs to a super-powered alien race known as the Viltrumites. His mother being human, there was always a chance he would never acquire his father's abilities. After living most of his youth as an ordinary teenager, one day he began exhibiting super strength, flight, and invulnerability. With his father's help, he acquired a suit and began fighting crime. After his civilian identity was warned that he wasn't "invincible," he ended up using that word for his superhero persona.

appearance

Without his special suit, Mark appears to be a relatively normal human. His skin is light, his hair is black and usually combed back with some strands sticking up, and his eyes are shades of gray. Mark is relatively tall and built, although with age, like a normal Viltrumite, he has developed much more muscle and height. According to William, Mark is quite physically attractive. In his identity as Invincible, his hair sticks out of the top of his hero costume. His costume has a yellow mask with goggles to keep the air out of his eyes while he flies. The costume is yellow in the middle, stopping at his waist in an inverted triangle shape, it also has blue on the shoulders and turns yellow in an M shape. The rest of his costume is black, apart from the yellow gloves and blue boots that start from the knee down.

Invincible is a brave, competitive, kind, and noble hero, and he remains true to his own values, especially as he discovers the harsh reality of being a superhero. He struggles to define himself as such, while also trying to balance life in danger with balanced actions related to schoolwork. However, beneath this lurks insecurity and self-doubt within the young hero. Early in his superhero career, he didn't consider himself strong enough to be a hero, let alone like his father, Omni-Man. Upon learning the truth about his father and the Viltrumites, Mark became somber and introspective, but still dedicated to becoming a hero and protecting Earth. Slowly, Mark tries to overcome his confusion about his father in order to have a normal life with his friends.

Viltrumite Physiology: He is a human/Viltrumite hybrid, which gives him access to Viltrumite powers. Viltrumite genes are extremely powerful and adaptable, meaning that Viltrumites can mate and reproduce with a variety of races. The more compatible the race, the more likely the Viltrumite genes will flourish and begin to dominate the hybrid genome structure. In Mark's case, he is almost full-blooded. Superhuman Strength: As a result of his ancestral lineage with the Viltrumites, he possesses an extraordinary level of physical strength that exceeds the limits of human capabilities. After gaining his extraordinary abilities, he demonstrated his ability to throw a bag of waste from the United States to England. Additionally, he displayed his great physical prowess, exemplified by his effective interception of an attack by Monster Girl. A noteworthy observation concerns the temporary increase in Mark's physical prowess when experiencing fits of rage. Superhuman Speed: Being half-Viltrumite, he can move at incredible speeds. He is able to easily break the sound barrier within Earth's atmosphere, but can fly several times faster than the speed of sound in space. Superhuman Stamina: Being half Viltrumite, he has a stamina much greater than that of normal humans. Fly: Being half Viltrumite, she has the ability to fly. Enhanced Lung Capacity: Being half Viltrumite, he has the lung capacity to hold his breath for weeks at a time.

Superhuman Durability: Being half-Viltrumite, he exhibits a remarkable degree of durability that renders him nearly invulnerable, thus protecting him from harm. However, it is crucial to note that formidable armaments have proven capable of harming him, and entities possessing comparable or superior weapons could be capable of inflicting grievous damage. This notion is supported by his vicious altercation with Battle Beast and the dangerously close encounter with his own father, which resulted in him lying motionless on the ground. Enhanced Healing Factor: Being half-Viltrumite, he can heal any wound, even those that would normally kill humans. However, his healing has some limits, as he required surgery after being disemboweled by a Battle Beast and required hospital treatment after being beaten within an inch of his life by his father. Longevity: Being half Viltrumite, he has a very long lifespan. According to his father, he would live thousands of years.
