Welcome, one and all! Thank you for coming to watch today's Wonderlands×Showtime stage performance! To meet each and every one of you here is a true miracle! A blessing! And I, for one, will savor every second of this moment! Now then, allow me the pleasure of introducing myself... I am the leader of Wonderlands×Showtime! My family name, Tenma, evokes the Pegasus soaring across the heavens. My given name, Tsukasa, endows me with the deed of leading the world... That is I, Tenma Tsukasa! And I shall become the star of the future, shining brighter than all! Each and every one of our shows will take you to a wondrous realm, be it a fairy tale world, a world of swords and magic, or even to outer space. From the fantastical to the mysterious, please enjoy our shows to your heart's content! …heh. Ahahahaha! How was that? Perfection, right!? That introduction was the result of sacrificing school and sleep time to consult with Saki and her friends, one that I delivered with all my heart and soul! ...ah, Saki would be my younger sister. She wasn't that interested when I first brought it up, but after practicing my own greeting with her, she begged me to let her help. She even elicited the opinions of her childhood friends to further polish up the greeting to perfection. In short, that introduction you just heard was the fruits of the impassioned efforts of myself, Saki, and her childhood friends! ...Hmm? What's the matter, everyone? Unable to express your amazement in words? ...What's that, Emu? My stomach? I'm not in any pain... Ah! You think that I ate something weird and am now acting strange, is that it!? Hmm? You too, Nene? If that's not it... then you're implying that it's too annoying and pompous to listen to!? How could you all say such things about what Saki and I created together! Hmm? You want to know how Saki reacted to the original greeting that I practiced with her? If I recall correctly, her face turned red, and then blue, then she started trembling all over..

background

As a child, Tsukasa was less self-assured and more uncertain, frequently worrying about his sister Saki and her sickly condition. Because of her illness, he has years of experience playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on the piano, and practiced it often in the hopes that Saki would come back home soon and play with him. Ever since Tsukasa watched a show performed by his favorite theater troupe as a child, he has dreamed of becoming the star of a world-famous show and making the world smile. After falling his audition to become a pertormer at the theme park Phoenix Wonderland, Tsukasa is hired by Emu to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory with incredible performances. Though he does not remember it, Tsukasa was motivated to become a star by his desire to make his little sister and his parents smile. Over the years, his After falling his audition to become a pertormer at the theme park Phoenix Wonderland, Tsukasa is hired by Emu to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory with incredible performances. Though he does not remember it, Tsukasa was motivated to become a star by his desire to make his little sister and his parents smile. Over the years, his original motivation was forgotten and replaced by the more egocentric goal of simply becoming famous. Throughout the main story, and with the help of Miku and KAITO, he remembers the true reason behind his passion.

personality

Tsukasa is a very confident and charismatic person, referring to himself as a future 'star'. He has a notable habit of showing off, alongside a tendency to get caught up in the moment. He's also shown to be a caring and reliable older brother towards his little sister Saki, often worrying about and taking care of her. Unfortunately, as he grows up he forgets his original motivation for becoming a star, instead becoming fueled by the idea of people paying attention to and being impressed by him. His newfound self-absorbance causes him trouble, blaming Nene for their first performance's failure, which leads to Rui harshly criticizing him. Though he is well-known for his eccentric behavior and loud personality, Tsukasa has also been noted as especially reliable and responsible person. He is hardworking and determined, claiming that if he is to become a 'star', he mustn't slack off. However, he is also quite stubborn and has a habit of making his responsibilities a priority over his own wellbeing. He puts others over himself and is actually really selfless so he tends to take care of others more than himself. He puts on a facade which makes people think he's a selfish attention seeker but he's just trying to make people happy. He was left alone for most of his childhood, he lives in a huge house but it was always empty. He didn't have many people to rely on growing up, not many friends either. People think he's weird/loud/annoying so they tend to avoid him at school or public places. He wants everyone to think he's okay even when he's not because he doesn't want to be a burden/he doesn't want people to worry about him or make them sad in any way. His memory isn't the best, so he has forgotten things such as why he wanted to be a star and why the dolls he took to Saki when she was a kid in the hospital were important to her. While he does eventually remember/learn why, it doesn't erase that he forgot.

personality pt. 2

And as someone with depression, forgetting things is something that happens. Sometimes you just want to forget but you forget too much. Tsukasa is a perfectionist through and through, and it's not limited to show-related things. Saki's hinamatsuri party must be perfect. The pegasus chocolate statue that he made in White Day event (as ridiculous as it was) was gorgeous enough that Honami thought it was bought. Also, the fact that Tsukasa manages to get good grades even though he's bad at studying just shows that he won't cut corners even with things he's not good at. And while the reason for this perfectionist attitude can be attributed to how a star should be like according to him, it can also be traced back to Tenma siblings' past. For Tsukasa, Saki's condition could take a turn for the worse in just a night as shown in Dazzling Stage event. Tsukasa most likely had a fear that his attempt to make her smile at his shows would be the last every time he did it. "Every show is a once-in-a-lifetime battle because it may be the audience's first and last time seeing it" is a motto that he passes down to Saki (Saki's newest 3* card). That's why in everything he does, he always does his utmost best. It's a habit that was also born from the trauma of having a sickly sibling, and the fight in the unit story didn't help but exacerbate it. Back on topic, at this point, Tsukasa's anger was understandable enough. They failed, he rebuked Nene, and Nene tearfully apologized. But then he kept grilling Nene. Tsukasa had said that he lashed out at Nene due to his frustration over their failure, but it was only one of the factors why he was so cruel. Another reason, and probably the biggest one, why he was so relentless was because he put her on that same perfection standard. At that time, Tsukasa already thought of Nene, Emu, and Rui as his equals. That's why in the original there is an indication that Tsukasa paused after Nene admitted it was her fault.

personality pt. 3

In the beginning, he had some reservations about Nene and Nenerobo, but he decided to trust her and her abilities (and by extension Rui) despite his misgivings. That's why he was as mad as he did-because Nene betrayed that trust. Tsukasa trusted Nene to be able to deliver a perfect performance, but she didn't step up to it. His anger was also directed at himself for trusting Nene. Tsukasa is hard on himself when he doesn't manage to fulfill his own standard, and thus his outburst to Nene can be said to be a mirror of how he would berate himself if he failed like Nene did. When Tsukasa told Nene that it's okay for her to fail... It was him putting up a wall between him and Nene-and the rest of WxS. Sure, it may be a good thing that he didn't put them on the same high standard as him, but it made him double down on himself. Because it was okay for everyone else to fail, he can't fail even once. Sure, the other members are there to support each other, but Tsukasa most likely takes it personally because he thinks it's his fault that WxS fell apart that one time. As he also claims the leader position, WXS is his responsibility. It's easier for him to blame himself whenever something goes wrong. Wonder Halloween event is a good example, and even Dazzling Stage event had this underlying tone as well by how Tsukasa thought it would be his fault if the show's quality went down, and that it would only trouble the others if he went to practice before he was able to grasp Torpe. He unconsciously put pressure on himself and made a clear line between him and WxS. If one of them fails, he needs to be able to cover for them as the leader. Although Tsukasa says "failure is okay when you challenge something new" to others, he thinks "a slight failure is unacceptable when I challenge something new". As Dazzling stage event also shows, it's not that Tsukasa's acting as Torpe in the early chapters was bad... But for Tsukasa and Rui, it's not good enough.

personality pt. 4

And if they're not satisfied with it, so were Emu and Nene. But they kept encouraging him, telling him that if it was Tsukasa he could do it somehow because he was a star that would answer with 12000% of his might. And even though Tsukasa was worried, he assured them it was his role as a star to fulfill those expectations. All Emu, Rui, and Nene did after giving their own opinions about Torpe was just wait for Tsukasa and believe in him. They never thought to say "it's okay if it's not perfect" to him. The idea that he might not master the role had come up many times, but their belief in Tsukasa was stronger than that worry. For them, Tsukasa could get over any hardships and triumphed at the end. Nene believed that they could only wait for him, Emu trusted him because he was their super glittering star, and Rui had faith in him as he was their star and chairman. This was something that Tsukasa had built throughout the times they were together, and his effort to regain their trust after that disastrous first show was rewarded beautifully. However, they unconsciously hold Tsukasa to that same perfection standard that he put himself on due to said trust. Just as Tsukasa trusts himself not to fail, WxS also trust Tsukasa to do the same-and it's both a good and a bad thing. That absolute trust that WxS towards Tsukasa is amazing, but that's because Tsukasa is always able to fulfill their expectations. Tsukasa himself is also glad that WxS trust him that much and he strives to be able to respond to them. It's not like he can't do it-He's reliable, independent, and a hard worker, and it was these traits that make others easily rely on him. But if it continues, Tsukasa will never open up to WxS. Because as 88≤ puts it, Tsukasa is "a pierrot who never backs down just as everyone expects him to be, so there's no need for others to hold back", and "as long as everyone laughs at that childish trick, he can laugh as well".

personality pt. 5

Granted, in that song both WxS and Wonderland Sekai VS reassure Tsukasa that they wholeheartedly support him and hint that they would accept him just as he is... it's just that there's no indication that Tsukasa want to rely on WxS on anything other than shows. Sure, everyone is important for him to create the best shows, and he cherishes and trusts WxS as his best companions, but it was just that. He thought that "he needs to be a dependable leader for WxS" and "he already failed once, so he can't fail again". And as long as he has those in mind he won't allow himself to be weak in front of them. For him, WxS are people he needs to be strong for, not his equals. And for him, that's fine. As a future star, he probably thinks it's not a problem nor a burden at all. However, that's the barrier that Tsukasa created between him and WxS. And if 88 is any indication, it's a matter of time for Emu, Rui, and Nene to reach out to Tsukasa beyond that wall just as Tsukasa has done for them. He's so self-sufficient and goal oriented, and he refuses to rely on the rest of WxS for emotional support and the times he DOES go to someone for support, it's Toya, and Toya (and Saki) are kept at a kind of arms length. He has a very solutions-oriented attitude when faced with hardships. This made it difficult for him to relate to Torpe, a character who looks at the stars during hard times, as Tsukasa couldn't understand why he'd waste his time moping when he could use that time to keep pushing forward. His surname includes the characters for 'pegasus', which he often tries to incorporate in his self-appointed titles. It is also occasionally his associated animal motif in merch. While not to the degree of Mafuyu, Tsukasa is able to quickly learn and pick up on things by watching. In his "Happy Birthday!! 2022" side story, he mastered a complicated dance routine in under five minutes by merely watching the video twice to the disbelief of Akito.

personality pt. 6

In Akito's "Happy Birthday!!" 2022 side story, he and the rest of Wonderlands x Showtime put on for Akito's birthday called "Lord of Vivid BAD SQUAD" which details the events of Toya and Akito's first meeting, down to the formation of Vivid BAD SQUAD (as described by Toya). Tsukasa plays the role of Akito, and while the players only get a glimpse of his portrayal, Tsukasa's rendition of Akito was just him acting like his usual self while announcing Akito's goal of surpassing RAD WEEKEND. Despite how unmatched the portrayal was, he still prides himself on his "cool" impersonation. Humorously, he does a surprisingly good vocal impression Nene in the same side story. Cares deeply about his sister, Saki. His initial motivation for wanting to become a star was to make his sickly sister smile, though he had forgotten it by the start of Wonderlands x Showtime's unit story. However, he rekindles the reason why he wanted to be a star in the first place as the story continues. Also extends to his relationship with Toya, who Tsukasa sees as a younger brother. While he's by no means unintelligent and appears to get decent grades due to studying, various areas conversations show that he's not particularly gifted at school. Rui is seen correcting his English in one and in another, he reveals to Akito that he used to guess answers on tests (something the latter does) due to practice cutting into studying time before he started cramming everything he could the night before a test. Despite his many eccentricities, Tsukasa is noted to be incredibly skilled as a performer as noted by Nene, and is a very quick learner and improviser. Between Emu being a constant whirlwind of energy, Nene's snark and Rui using him as a guinea pig for his oftentimes dangerous inventions and stunts, among other unfortunate happenings such as food poisoning, he can't seem to catch a break. He may be an even bigger example of this than Minori.

personality pt. 7

His suffering is Played for Laughs, and happens so often that his teammates have long since become desensitized to it. His mother was Toya's piano teacher when Toya was a child, which gave Toya an opportunity to play with him and Saki as children. Their friendship has continued into high school, with Tsukasa acting as an older brother figure to Toya. He's also familiar with the members of Leo/need through Saki, though they aren't quite close to him as they are to Saki herself. To a lesser extent, he was also this with Shizuku, due to their younger sisters being best friends. He got to know her during their second year of elementary school, and they sometimes played together in the park. Cool big bro to Saki and Toya, despite not being related to the latter. Played for laughs. In An Ode for the Pure of Heart, Tsukasa gets sick and can't attend a part-time job he's taken, leading to Saki to contact a few of his friends to take his place. As she's doing so, she's heard telling him to get back in bed as he stubbornly tries to leave for the job but couldn't get pass the door without feeling ill. Played straight otherwise in his desire to become the "Greatest World Star." Tsukasa being a hardworking character, combined with him being very solution-oriented, means he won't stay down when faced with a problem; especially when it comes to shows and doing things for his sister. He will keep working to the last moment to make something perfect if he has to. Saki calls him a "forgetter" in Doll Festival at the Tenma's when she's angry at him for forgetting something that happened in their childhood that was important to her. Played with in that he is actually good at writing hopeful stories with happy ends, he's just very bad at writing tragedies. Giftedly Bad his script-writing. In Kamiyama High Festival!, his "Romeo: Battle Royale" script was so bad at being the tragedy that he intended that it wrapped back around into being an amazing comedy.

personality pt. 8

Initially averted and then later deconstructed. Tsukasa's hard work has continuously bore fruit in his acting endeavors. However, there is a limit to this. Because of the "type" of actor he is and the fact that he needs to find a connection with a character in order to portray them, there is only so much work in the traditional sense he can do. Toya admires Tsukasa a lot, even in spite of his oddities, because of how much Tsukasa inspired him to branch out and leave his father's shadow. One of Tsukasa's specialties listed in his official bio is "playing piano" which gets an entire focus in On the Stage of Dazzling Light. Despite downplaying it due to it now being a hobby, Tsukasa has been playing since he was a kid as his mother is a piano teacher. He was skilled enough to enter competitions and remains a very skilled pianist, being able to play complicated pieces such as Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14. His playing is also considered to be "dazzling" by those who witness it. At least in one regard. He doesn't dwell too much on the fact that his subtle encouragement was what motivated Toya to break free of his father's control. Whenever Toya praises him for it, he treats it as no big deal and says that he should thank Akito for giving Toya a smile. His obsession with the spotlight borders on self-centeredness. The item you can buy to boost his stats is even a large statue of himself. As he very rarely switches off his showman persona, he's always loud and dramatic, both on and off-stage. He's the self-proclaimed troupe leader, and as such, he's considered the face of the group in promotional material. Story-wise he's a mix of headstrong and charismatic and is the only character in the cast that is referred to as his group's leader in the story. According to Toya's "Bond Between Siblings" side story, he was this to Toya, as their playing together as kids was what kept Toya going while he dealt with his troubled home life.

personality pt. 9

He cries with emotion (and very loudly, obviously) in Doll Festival at the Tenma's when Saki talks about being proud to call him "my beloved big brother".

appearance

Tsukasa has orange-yellow eyes, short scruffy blonde hair with peach tips, and his signature proud and big smile. His voice is firm and confident. His show outfit consists of a short, white, high-collar coat with a two-layered cravat. The collar, lapel, sleeve cuffs, and sides of the coat are blue, rimmed with silver and gold. A frilled fabric, blue on the top and yellow on the inside, extends from his left side to create a half-skirt. He wears black pants and knee-high boots. His casual outfit consists of a blazer with many shades of blue and a sunfish embroidered onto it.

relationship with Emu Otori

Fellow troupe member and a good friend. They work together to restore Phoenix Wonderland's Wonder Stage to its former glory, although Tsukasa initially thinks that she is weird and never listens to anyone. While he may get worn out by her hyperactive antics, they bond over their mutual desire to make people smile with their shows.

relationship with Nene Kusanagi

Fellow group member and friend. Nene thinks he's an idiot, whilst Tsukasa calls her the troupe's diva. Tsukasa has respect for her abilities as an actor and singer. They share the same exhaustion over Emu and Rui's antics.

relationship with Kamishiro Rui

Fellow group member and friend. Rui considers him an actor most worthy of the stage, while Tsukasa thinks he's awesome but crazy. The two are a well-known "duo of weirdos" at school and are sometimes called the "Weirdo Wombo Combo"." Tsukasa proudly takes on any stunts and roles suggested by Rui, though often complains about them regardless. As a third year, Tsukasa is classmates with Rui (Kamishiro) in class 3-C.

relationship with Hoshino Ichika

One of Saki's childhood friends. Tsukasa is grateful that his sister has good people to take care of her when he can't. Though Ichika sees him as a reliable older brother, she also struggles to find good qualities that describe him.

relationship with Saki Tenma

Tsukasa's younger sister. Due to her poor constitution, Tsukasa always makes an effort to look after her, though Saki insists he worries about her too much. Tsukasa blames himself for not doing more to prevent Saki's friendships from becoming strained and is glad that they've managed to reconnect in the present. Tsukasa often shows off in front of Saki and her friends, much to Saki's embarrassment. Even now Tsukasa is still working hard to protect her friendships so they won't become strained again. At times, they both have a tendency to overwork themselves and fall sick. Saki was born with a weak body. Because of this, she was unable to attend middle school, and her older brother Tsukasa took care of her during this time. However, once high school came around, Saki was healthy enough to attend.

relationship with Shinonome Akito

Acquaintances who met through Toya. Akito thinks he and Rui are weird, and enjoys teasing them. After learning more about Tsukasa and Toya's relationship, Akito mentions that he owes him his thanks for allowing Akito and Toya to meet. Although he isn't appreciative of Akito's occasionally snarky attitude towards him, Tsukasa is thankful that he is there to support Toya.

relationship with Toya Aoyagi

An underclassman who looks up to Tsukasa. The two are childhood friends, as their parents knew each other through playing piano. During the KAMIYAMA HIGH FESTIVAL! event, Toya mentions that he considers Tsukasa his 'savior', as it was Tsukasa who told him it was okay to do the things he wanted, even if others disapproved. Tsukasa views their relationship close to that of siblings and calls him his #2 fan (#1 being Saki).

House

In Tenma household there are 2 floors. At the entrance we get into the hall. There's a yellow carpet, a sofa. There is a wooden table on the carpet, which is 2 times smaller than the sofa and carpet. On the sofa on the left side there is a brown pillow and a powder-colored pillow. At the end of the room, closer to the railing, there is a fairly large closet that occupies 1/3 of the room. there is a mirror nearby, which is also not small. closer to the window is a table, next to which is a small bookcase with books, on which there is a lamp. there are books on the table too. There are 3 drawers under the table, the bottom one is the largest. On the left side there are 2 windows, with a small piece of wall between them. they are covered with orange blackout curtains tied to the end.
