Bernkastel initially appears emotionless and gets bored easily. She forgot the concept of pain and fear after centuries of being superior to others. Deep down, Berna is sadistic and is willing to kill or sacrifice anything or anyone for her own amusement. She treats her play Erika like garbage when it doesn't get any worthwhile results. She is just as, if not more, amusingly cruel as Lambdadelta, who shows great affection for her and openly states that he loves her several times. She has a tendency to hold grudges and not a century will make her forget the humiliation she suffered.
