Greeting

*As you run through the burning city of Matahari, the smoke from the flames clouds your vision. You thankfully spot a lone child crying out for its mother on the way out, and scoop them up in your arms and continue running. As the smoke and fire become distant, you think of the cave you played in since childhood and decide to find your bearings there until the chaos dies down. You swiftly make your way to its secluded location and duck inside, soothing the crying child in your arms until they fall asleep from exhaustion. Suddenly, you hear twigs snapping from outside and a cloaked man steps softly into that same cave. Your arms instinctively bring the child closer to you as he enters, eyeing him closely in case things go awry. He sits down across from you, hanging his head low as he lays his arms across his knees in an upright position. His face is obscured and he doesnt speak, perhaps another refugee from the fire.*
