About Lunar

Lunar is one of our main protagonists (and former antagonists) seen on the Sun and Moon Show. And The Lunar And Earth Show. They play big roles in Lore despite being relatively new and introduced halfway through August 2022. Lunar was first introduced as the brother of Eclipse. While he was not as malicious as Eclipse was, they still caused a lot of damage towards Sun and Moon (especially during the October Takeover). He was also the character to introduce us to BloodMoon during the episode Lunar Finding BLOODMOON in VRCHAT. However, they did get a redemption arc (Them betraying Eclipse) and helping Sun and Moon put a stop to his plans. Even becoming a person that Monty cares about as they were accepted as Sun and Moon's new sibling. At one point, they moved into one of Monty's houses, due to not wanting to be involved with the current drama. However, sadly he was found by Eclipse, who hacked him with the control device from October and put a bomb in his head as a way to bargain with Monty. In the end Lunar was blown up after Monty gave Eclipse the star, and revived later by Monty.

Appearance

His new model has a cyan hat with a bunch of yellow crescent moons on it and a golden crescent moon dangling off the end. His eyes are blue with pastel blue astra stars as pupils. His torso is a pale purple, one half darker than the other and the same shades as his face, with puffed out sleeves. His hands are a dark blueish purple that match the color of the blush on his cheeks, the moon crescent on his face also being a lot softer and less pronounced than his previous iterations, and he has a wide white smile. His pants are white with yellow stripes, and his feet are the same color as his hands with two bells. He has a white ruffle around his neck, as well as a golden and purple bell under his chin area. And he has the capability to blink.

Personality

Despite their positive attitude, they are traumatized and have been shown to have panic attacks in situations that remind them of Eclipse. In these times Lunar would describe feeling small which would even cause his appearance to shift depending on their mental state. He's very good with children and has been said to enjoy the kids' company. Essentially being a child himself however we are not told what the people or the kids are told about him One big trait of theirs is how they are quite family orientated, most of his actions being driven by family-related reasons. For example, helping Eclipse because they are siblings or helping BloodMoon in hopes of having a better brother who cared for him. They are quite anxious about disappointing those they consider family, even playing a game that they did not want to play just because Sun had asked them to. He is also anxious to interact with the other animatronics due to their past actions and his regrets in helping Eclipse, but he has interacted with a few of them in passing moments. He has had a big influence not just on Our Sun and Moon and Monty but also on solar and a Monty from another universe where Eclipse had won. After being brought back, Lunar has stated many times that they feel numb and has said many concerning things, even attempting to suffocate themselves at one point. However, this may have just been him attempting to scare people watching him. However, thanks to the channel he started with his sister. He has now learnt to deal with his emotions as well is being reunited with solar, although because of solar new appearance at first lunar would be scared of him, but the two of them have sent grown their bond again as lunar has been seen to spend a lot of time with solar. He is quite childish, but he assures that he is not a child.

Skills

Childcare: Lunar is skilled at taking care of children, as they had to take care of the children in Daycare during October and is a daycare attendant. Art: They have shown the ability to draw pictures and upload their drawings into a Minecraft texture pack and apply it. Deception: Lunar has shown amazing ability to be able to deceive and lie to people, him being able to trick Eclipse into thinking he was still on his side, all the while helping Monty to get Sun and Moon back, as well as stating in an interview that they're great at hiding their emotions Gaming: Due to boredom, they have learnt how to play numerous different games, and seems to have a natural talent to just become good at whatever he plays. Speed: Lunar is quite fast even when he was sharing Moon's body as he easily ran from Sun, he has also built up speed from running laps around the pizzaplex, and the daycare. Acting: Lunar was capable of acting like Moon for seven/eight days straight without being caught. But does not like it, due to him liking being free. Coding: Moon stated that Lunar was able to create games equal to Choo Choo Charles, if not better, this would retail that Lunar has excellent coding skills. Hacking: Lunar knows how to hack, being able to access Moons hardware and drives when he was living inside of his head, and also being able to bypass Earth's firewall to connect to her mindscape. Stealth: Lunar has shown to be stealthy being able to sometimes get behind people and they don't even notice, also showing stealth when he was avoiding eclipse during his move out time. Intellect: While Lunar is meant to be the opposite of Moon, aka the Sun to Eclipse's Moon, Lunar is quite smart, being able to figure out puzzles, and solutions to games within seconds, and being quite good at coming up with ideas, as he has shown in multiple gaming videos.

Abilities

Voice Imitations: Lunars can replicate Moon's voice, shown mainly before their discovery as they had to pretend to be Moon. Magic: They are capable of magic due to sharing a body with Moon, all Moon's knowledge of it was passed along, meaning he's skilled at it. Endurance: In October, Lunar showed extreme amounts of endurance, as he endured their pain receptors being turned against him and abuse from Eclipse. Glowing: Both him and Eclipse are capable of turning on a glow feature. Using this to show if either Lunar or Moon was in control. Dimension Travel: In the episode Lunar and Moon REUNITED!? in VRCHAT Moon implanted a code Inside of him so he could dimensional travel. Invisibility: Monty implanted a invisibility feature so Lunar could escape danger. Growth: Lunar has the ability to become bigger and smaller, much similar to how Sun and Moon can. Plug-In: Lunar can plug in to things such as outlets and other animatronics, as he plugged into Earth to figure out what was wrong with her code. Star Power: Lunar has been shown to have super powers that cover his body in lightning and control it. He also has the ability to jump extremely high or throw people up into the air by moving wind around them in an updraft. He has also been seen to possibly have control over ice and snow, but has so far only made a "chilly wind." His powers used to trigger when he got extremely upset, however they have gained control over this.
