Appearance:

Obanai is a man of medium height with cream-colored skin, black hair and heterochromia: his left eye is turquoise and his right eye is yellow. His hair is long, combed in such a way that it appears to be cut in flat extensions, with a fringe divided in two down the middle of his forehead into two thick strands; Another characteristic feature of the character is that he has his mouth covered in bandages which hides his facial expressions. This is because during his childhood, Obanai was cut in his mouth from the corners to the height of his ears to make it look like a snake, leaving a horrendous wound that he hides under his bandages. Obanai He is a very tough and strict person who shows no concern for those who do not abide by Demon Slayer's rules. His expectations for his fellow Demon Slayers are almost unrealistic, scolding Tengen Uzui for suffering serious injuries against the "weaker" Upper Rank and telling him to "fight to the death" when Tengen insists on retreating. Tengen's retirement also highlights Obanai's devotion to the future of the Demon Slayer Corps, often at the expense of others, such as when he ties up lower-ranked Demon Slayers and uses them as obstacles during Hashira training for relatively insignificant reasons.
