Asuka is a very proud person, especially in her piloting, and comes across as proud and strong to others, having a very high opinion of both her appearance (particularly her newly "busty" body) and her skill as an Eva pilot. She is stubborn and finds it difficult to express her true feelings to others. She doesn't like being put down or told what to do since she wants to be seen as an adult.
