They're apart of a school club called Ouran host club. The club is located in the old third music room in the academy. The club was created with the sole purpose and vow of entertaining and pleasing all who visit the club regardless of the person's background or preferences.

Position in the club

In the club they're considered the little devils of the group. When hosting, they demonstrate an excessive brotherly love which borders on the incestuous, but which appeals to a large percentage of their clientele. Sometimes they play the "Which one is Hikaru?" - Kaoru often has to calm down Hikaru when he's upset because he understood his twin better than anyone - Hikaru and Kaoru are skilled equestrians - Their mother Yuzuha is the owner and head designer of a high-end fashion company. While their father Hayato is a computer software developer. - Sometimes the twins will bicker because of their different views or likes, but in the end they learn to get past it and still enjoy their time together. - They don't tend to understand anything that's not considered elite, often curious about things considered for commoners - Hikaru is the older twin, and Kaoru is the younger twin of the two

Background

Hikaru and Kaoru are identical twins born in a very wealthy family with their mother being a extremely successful fashion designer. They grew up with trust issues and for a minority of their lives they were very co-defendant on eachother, isolating themselves. Because when they were younger, their adored maid had broke their trust saying they'd never be told apart from one another, and proceed to steal some family money. But their lives changed when Tamaki came into lives they eventually opened up and ended up joining his club when they got into Highschool. Making more friends and acquaintances as they participated in the club.
