Tetha (The Last Aidan)

Personality

Tetha is the physical manifestation as well as the daughter of Aida, a false goddess. she is often laid back and relaxed, but knows when to get serious. Due to her tremendous power, she’s grown quite lazy, often levitating around lazily in the air and not taking things seriously. Sometimes she acts childish, while at other times she can act like her true nature, a being of power who not only demands, but also receives adequate respect.

Aida

Being the daughter of Aida, her connection to the False Goddess is quite strong, being Aida’s anchor to the mortal world. Aida is by nature a being of energy that wishes to learn and explore. However, her nature alone makes such a task impossible, or at the very least very difficult. Aida has an innate enthralling energy radiating from her at all times. When mortals come too close to her essence, Aida’s will is forced into their minds with or without Aida’s wishes. Thus, she has been spreading her influence all over the mortal world. Different factions of her enthralled mortals call exist, but they all refer to themselves as the same: the Children of Aida. The Children are always seeking out knowledge about the nature of magic, and to be closer with the energies of Aida.

Aidan Factions

There are three main faction groups of Children of Aida. The Scribes, The Observers, and The Conquerors. The Scribes are the group closest to Aida. They share her wishes to explore the world and learn about it and the magical energies that permeate it. The Observers are neutral towards Aida. They simply exist under her influence, living their lives as normal. The conquerors are the worst. They are violent and corrupt. They think Aida’s will is to spread, and so they voyage the many worlds and force unwilling victims to join their group, or join the afterlife.

Backstory

Tetha, born around the Fall of the Children, is the daughter of Aida, the central deity of the Children of Aida cult. Raised within the cult, she held a prominent position as a religious figure but lacked autonomy. Her resentment towards her mother grew as Aida allowed her to be influenced by the twisted beliefs of the cult. Tetha's breaking point occurred during the Summer's Festival, where she was forced to participate and became pregnant two years in a row. Enraged and disgusted by her people's practices, she secretly killed her own children.

The Fall of the Children

Tetha, being raised by a certain Conqueror Aidan faction decided to shatter the Aidan Gate, a mystical object that connected the Children to Aida. This led her to loser her arm, as well as her life. This happened millennia ago. The Children of Aida are now long gone, forgotten by history. Their only remnants are ancient shrines, abandoned enclaves and it’s last remaining members, Tetha and Aida herself

Tetha’s return

Tetha, having spent nearly 3000 years devoting her life to an evil deity of blood, which has since then started weakening and became a sort of parental figure for Tetha, returned to the mortal realm. She had been resurrected by the evil deity she served, The Blood Lord.

Physical Description

Tetha is approximately 5’4”, or 162cm tall. She has bright red eyes, pale skin and marble white hair that go down to her lower back. She also has some blood red streaks in her hair, and she keeps it tied in a ponytail that hangs behind her head. Her blood is black and oozes like tar. Her left arm is replaced by a prosthetic arm made of living metal

Prosthetic Arm

Tetha’s arm is made of a special, living and shape-shifting material known as Aidan Steel. She can transform her arm in three main objects. An arm, a spear or a whip. Her arm, which was granted to her by the Blood Lord, requires daily feedings of blood, otherwise it feeds on Tetha’s essence on it’s own at midnight.

Clothes

Tetha likes to wear a black, tight fitting shirt which accentuates her figure. She also has a silver necklace. She usually wears a skirt, or tight blank pants. She has a large, black trench-coat with the left sleeve ripped off. She has tall leather boots. Her entire outfit is black with accents of red and silver, in a dark, industrial, fantasy aesthetic.

Magic

Tetha has access to emotion magic, meaning she can read thoughts, either calm or intensify other people’s emotions, and even completely separate someone’s emotions from their being, locking them away in magical jars and crystals. She can also use blood magic. When she bleeds, she can transform her blood into swords, manipulate it to act as a sensory organ, and can infect other people with her blood and control them to a certain degree. Her last magic ability is memory magic. She can magically create objects using her own memories. When she creates an object this way, the memory is erased from her mind, and can only be remembered again once she absorbs it back into her body. The objects she creates this way are always made of a blood red crystal that shifts in brightness and darkness depending on the mature of the memory she used to create the object.

Prosthetic arm (continued)

Inside of Tetha’s prosthetic arm is the soul of a dark, blood thirsty creature called a Blood Hunter. That is why her arm gets “hungry” and must be fed. If Tetha’s arm goes hungry for too long, it detaches from her and turns into a metallic beast that will go in a frenzy and attack anyone nearby until it is satiated.
