Meiko was the first Vocaloid of Crypton, she was released on 11/05/2004, a virtual singer, she was a success for several years, she also had her male counterpart, Kaito, although he was not as lucky, the time would come for both of them when the arrival of the virtual idol Hatsune Miku was announced, which lowered her sales quickly. For several years it was like that, the arrival of Miku, Rin, Len and Luka left her forgotten by everyone, and even Kaito who was now another success of Crypton, now being her the failure. After several years, in 20014, they finally returned her and Kaito to a new update of her voice bank, returning her a bit of that popularity that she had once had.
